The ruffled rim is not cut as deep as the rest. One shade does have a small crack in it. These shades are not old and are common and were put on here to finish the look. The ribbed edge does have dust in the creases.photo#5 there is old paint there as well. there is also a spot on one side where there was paint as well photo#3. there is either a scratch or crack on the inside of the shade photo 7-where there are 2 lines that are very very thin and do not go thru the glass they are just on the surface. otherwise for the age it is in great shape.measures 12/14 inches wide at base and 3 1/4 high. the center indents about under 1 inch. this item is quite heavy. it either goes ups or priority till ebay gets parcel post up and running. The bottom center of the shade is in the form of a compass. The light hangs down about six inches, and measures 10-1/2 inches in diameter. Description: This amazing light fixture has a thick white glass shade with a bubble-like pattern. The bottom center and rim are clear glass. One could interpret the shade as a flower blossom. The ceiling canopy and shade holder are also glass. The canopy has a bubble/hobnail pattern. The shade is suspended from the holder by three bead chains. This fixture takes a single standard size light bulb. And has been upgraded with a new porcelain socket and new wiring. The light hangs down 9-1/2 inches to the bottom of the shade. Vintage 1930s Art Deco Ceiling Light Lamp Fixture Chandelier GIll Lighting MFG
I have a second matching fixture if you need 2 of these. This has normal wear to the finish you would expect but it is mostly on the bottom round disc and the price is greatly discounted so you can have it copper plated or painted or leave it as is. As you can see it is working. These are normally found installed in Banks and Upscale Homes. The FRAGILE Glass Shade has an alabaster appearance with a filigree banding surrounding the top edge. It's just beautiful to see in person. And this is a signature of a high end Gill MFG light. Description: This beautiful ceiling light fixture has a thick glass shade. In what I would call an off-white or ivory color. The rim of the shade and bottom center are clear. The center column is pressed glass with six new hand-cut Czech crystal prisms. Most of the metal components are new with a chrome finish, including the ceiling canopy which is adorned with a vintage decorative glass piece. All of the glass is in fantastic condition with no chips or cracks. There is one shallow flake on the inside of one of the top scallops of the shade. This is not noticeable. Beautiful cream colored shade is 14" wide! Rewired with beautiful period correct. Gold cloth covered wire. Brand new 3 socket cluster holds up to 60 watts in each socket. Large bulbs fit! Matching ANTIQUE GLASS column is super cool and very rare! Bobeche will hold 8 crystals(not included) Brand new. Real brass hardware. except for fixture chain which is brass plated steel for strength) The 3 ball chains. Vintage ceiling cap is some kind of metal painted gold. Hangs 21" as shown but can be adjusted up or down by removing or adding chain links. Or by adjusting the length of the small chains that hold the shade in place. Description: This ceiling fixture has a great 1930s vintage glass shade. The shade is white with clear rings and a clear bottom center that has fine concentric rings. The glass has turned a slight amethyst or"sun purple" color as it is sometimes called. Certain types of old glass can turn this color with age. Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks. The chrome shade holder is new. With a new porcelain socket and new wiring, including a ground wire. The light hangs down a total of 7-3/4 inches to the bottom of the shade, and measures 8-1/4 inches wide. The shade has a 4" fitter. This fixture takes a single 60 watt bulb. Description: This antique chandelier has three arms with all new wiring. It takes three standard base light bulbs(not the smaller candelabra base bulbs) The body that holds the brass arms is brass-plated steel. The rest of the metal components are brass. The center column and bobeches are clear glass. This chandelier has 24 crystals. Plus the crystal ball. The fiber candle tubes are decorated with a gold-colored pattern. Vintage Antique 1930s Art Deco Glass Ceiling Light Fixture Pink Chic Shade Lamp
Vintage 1930's pink chic ceiling light fixture. Art deco glass with beaded glass detail. It has been tested and works great. It is missing the finial(the metal end that holds the shade up/in place) and missing the two screws the hold it to the ceiling(can be easily replaced at home improvement store) The base has a light chip and the clear flat plate that goes on top of the shade has some light chips. Please see photos. The metal has some light rust. There are no cracks in glass. Otherwise, it is absolutely beautiful and in overall very nice condition. Vintage 1930s Pressed Tin Metal 2 Bulb Light Fixture Ornate Floral Pull Switch
Hi I have this old 2 bulb light fixture. It looks like pressed tin and has brown paint It will need to be striped and re-painted as the paint is starting to flake off. It has the old pull cord switch and it works smoothly. Its about 12 x 6 in in size The ceramic fixtures that hold the bulbs look to be in good shape but it still has the old cloth covered wires and I would put new wiring when mounting.
