Antique Art Deco Ceiling 5 Light Chandelier Polychrome Paint Fleur-De-Lis
Antique Art Deco Cast Aluminum 5-Socket Ceiling Light Fixture/Chandelier. Fleur-De-Lis Design, Original Polychrome Paint The ceiling light retains the original wiring in very good condition. I used the light in my home and recently decided to go with a little more formal Art Deco crystal chandelier. Hence. The offering of this wonderful ceiling light. The ceiling light is in working condition. You'll notice a small ring directly in the center on the bottom. The ring shows some light wear most likely from some type of ornament or prism. that was hung. The 5 matching fat boy sockets with paddle switches are original. The chain is original but was shortened to a drop of 21 inches(top of ceiling cap to bottom of bobeches) Inserted bulbs will add to the overall drop. The ceiling light was meticulously cleaned and professionally sprayed with ... moresemi-gloss top coat lacquer to preserve and enhance the original paint. Close inspection of the ceiling light will find only small and minimal areas of paint loss and/or wear. The wiring is original in good condition. The wiring doesn't appear to be brittle. There are no insulation breaks or fraying of the outer covering. Heat shrink tubing as been applied to the lead ends but will be obscured by the ceiling cap. Notice how the wire covering picks of the colors of the paint scheme. Because of the original wiring I cannot underwrite or indemnify the use of the ceiling light. You may want to replace the wiring. Each socket has a switch. There is a little play in one of the switches but will stay positioned. Many similar light fixtures used a cast iron hanger under the ceiling cap. When these lights were used originally there were no electrical boxes in the ceilings; only a hole for the wire. The cast iron hanger was attached to lath above the plaster. This ceiling light has outfitted with a pipe nipple and crossbar for easy and updated installation. As noted previously. The drop is 21 inches. Offered here is a lovely decorative cast aluminum polychrome chandelier with crystal accents. This piece has been fully rewired. Cleaned and restored. This Victorian Art Noveau Welsbach Polychrome Wrought Iron and cast Iron and Cast Metal Chandelier came out of an old house in Southern Virginia. It is all original with the original paint and original wiring. It is very ornate with its wrought iron scrolls and elaborate finials and ceiling plate. It has small flowers of metal at the bends of each scroll. The holders for the bulbs and globes are bell shaped and very ornate with a swirl finale atop each. I can't say enough about this beautiful chandelier. It measures 23" from the top plate to the bottom finial. It is about 22" across from light holder to light holder. The bottom ring is 12" across. This is a very large and heavy item. I had to hang it in a doorway with a rope to get a picture of it hanging. Weight 10.8 lbs. The bulb socket is original and it works well. The lamp is 5x5 inches at the top and 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches at the bottom. From the pendant at the bottom to the hanging ring it is 11 1/2 inches. We are pleased to offer this stunning. Antique(1920s) Moe Bridges chandelier. This is a beautiful, Art Deco chandelier. It features gilded iron with ornate and opened design. There is an intricate incised pattern which is repeated throughout the fixture. There are some lovely areas of polychrome in a dark teal green. This is most predominant on the exceptional top finial. This is a three light fixture. It is not slip shade and is not made for shades of any fashion. We have used antique reproduction light bulbs(not included) to complete the look. The fixture is signed inside the gorgeous ceiling plate/canopy. The chandelier is in very good condition. It has not been restored and still retains its original finish. For Sale- MAKE AN OFFER! This is a very nice electrically restored antique ceiling light or chandelier. I believe this is a Polychrome light made out of cast iron. It is magnetic and very heavy for its size. This light has a victorian or art Nouveau look with a beautiful brass finish. The light features a floral or ivy design with small red berries painted on the piece. The coloring is subtle and gold/ brass painted finish is great! I would date the light from the 1920's to the 1930's making it a very early electrical piece. It takes 3 standard base bulbs(chandelier type) There are no markings or a maker's mark indicating who made the light. But there is writing on the top that says"Restored 7/ 87' Apparently the light was restored in 1987. It looks like the wiring was updated, but I can't say if anything else was ... morerestored. This was an estate sale purchase, so I don't know the exact history of the piece. The pictures of this light don't do it justice. The colors and finish on the light are absolutely beautiful. This is a fantastic antique cast iron hanging ceiling fixture with original colorful polychrome finish that still looks very good but has some scuffs and very minor paint loss. Mainly around the top and along edges. The fixture needs to be re-wired with new sockets(there is nothing hanging from each arm; the sockets and wiring will need to be added. The style is bold and colorful with lots of angles, edges, scrolls, and other details. There is brown to accentuate the crevices and gold, red, and green to highlight other details. The chandelier is suspended from a large decorative piece that matches the bottom in style and color, and there is a sturdy metal loop attached to a piece that would have attached to a ceiling canopy at the top. The ceiling canopy is missing. The top surface of the chandelier is marked Moe Bridges, Milw. Wisc. and ... morenumbered, but I can't make out the full number. The top surface at the ends of the arms also has some putty residue that someone had added where the sockets came through the top. It is not necessary and can be removed scraped off. Nothing is broken, and the frame is perfectly useable. It measures 18" W x 22" from ceiling to bottom. It will be partially disassembled for shipping.

For your consideration is a Wonderful Antique Chandelier probably from the 1920's era. Poly-chrome 5 arm Chandelier. With raised wick arms. The ceiling base is stamped Pat. Pend in USA 912. The chandelier is also stamped Pat. Pend Made in USA DESIGN the maker is hard to read. In marker is written LS N CB co. I believe that is what it reads. You can see it is lit and would be great in an entry or over a table. I have wick style bulbs in place. They are just for show and do not come with the lamp. The chandelier can hang as low as 36" and higher with adjusting the chain. The cast chandelier does show its age with the silver cast has some tarnish to it. The Color hues makes it a pretty light. Colors seen are Red. Green and blue. The ceiling face plate is 5 1/4" diameter to the ceiling and you can see someone has place two new screws ... morein the top. You just need to tarnish them or scuff them up. The wiring is newer from the ceiling to the light. For sale is an original c1910 wrought iron polychrome ceiling light. It looks to be fully original. I have not tested this light so it may need some tlc before it's ready to use. It features a heavy strap design with floral accents. All five sockets are Arrow brand with on off switches on each one. The polychrome is in decent condition. Some chips and wear can be found. one arm has a rust spot of the bend and might need touched up. No structural breaks or bends are present. Measurements are 17-1/2"L X 19" W. This Ornately detailed and elegant Spanish revival 5 light chandelier c1920s has been restored and rewired. All of the parts are original with the exception of the obsolete electrical parts. The old sockets and wiring have been replaced with UL approved electrical components. the fixture has been restored to its former glory. The faded paint has been refreshed; two coats of clear protective finish were applied. The primary color is a bronzy antique gold with hand painted accents of hunter green and burgundy. A striking antique Spanish Revival five light chandelier with its original polychrome accents. Dating from the 1920’s. This bronze fixture begins with an intricately cast canopy that comes down in chain to a leafy loop finial. Below, a cluster of pierced bands adorned with volute detailing form the open chandelier body, which surrounds the fixture's central twisted rod. Five chandelier arms extend from the fixture's lower body to support heavily ornamented wax pans; the lower body features hammered textures, scrolling volutes, stylized shields and polychrome accents in red and blue. 1930 Polychrome Slip Shade Chandelier Art Deco VTG Ceiling Light Fixture Nouveau
For sale is a 1930's 5 socket slip shade chandelier. The original polychrome finish looks good for the age. There is some wear and nicks to it but still looks great. Should be easy to touch them up if desired. The shades are missing but can be replaced. It actually looks good with or without the shades. I'm unsure of the frames base metal content but it is non-magnetic. There are two switches on the bottom both marked Beaver. SHADES ARE MISSING& NOT INCLUDED. Description I have listed a Vintage Art Nouveau Hanging 3-Arm Ceiling Light Chandelier. The shaft looks like it is brass but I am not sure that the rest is even though there is some green and white oxidation on it. I have seen similar lights referred to as“polychrome” but I do not know. It measures approximately: 14 ½” wide 14 ½” deep 8 ¾” from the ceiling without the light bulbs I purchased this from an estate and am assuming that it works because it has newer lightbulbs but I do not know for sure. This 3 Light Chandelier was made by the J.D. Virden Company out of Toronto(also had an Ohio operation) It was part of their popular"Winthrop" line. I was able to find an image from the original 1938 Catalog showing this fixture and others in the Winthrop line. Can't get ebay to allow the link. So if you google"1938 virden wintrop catalog" the first result should be the site I found the catalog page! When this fixture was acquired it was sitting in a cardboard box outside of someones old farm house covered in snow! It was in rough shape but has been fully restored. Unfortunately the finish was not salvageable so it had to be refinished. By looking at others online, and examining the remnants of finish carefully it was brought back to as close to original as possible. Stunning 1920's -1930's art deco polychrome chandelier hanging light lamp
Up for auction is a stunning art deco. Polychrome chandelier. It has the original gold bronze finish and the polychrome is in burgundy and turquoise, which is also original. I had this rewired in reproduction cloth wrapped cord and the"dripping" candle sleeves are also new. I have over $500 invested in this beautiful light fixture, but it does not go with the decor of our new Southwest style home. Has five arms and it is beautiful lit up. My loss is your gain. Here is a Gorgeous Antique Light Fixture. This is probably from the early 1900s. From Ceiling to bottom of light measures approx. 26 inches long. the Part the fits flush against the ceiling. Measures approx. 3 inches tall by approx. 5 3/4 inches wide. The Main part that holds the 2 lights, measures approx. 12 1/2 inches long by approx. 6 inches wide. It has a Stunning Art Deco Design to it! This Fixture will need rewired. It also shows some minor rust and paint loss. This would be a Great Piece to fix up! Large Antique Art Nouveau Polychrome Markel 5 Arm Light Chandelier To Restore
I hope someone out there can bring this back to life. This came out of an old house that was built in 1909. It measures about 20" in diameter. It is about 19" from where the finial on the bottom goes to the top where the chain begins. It looks to have the original ceiling cap. It is marked MARKEL on the inside AND ALSO marked MARKEL on the porcelain light sockets. Also. one of the"hooks" that the socket holder dangles on is broken. I still have that little piece. It may need replaced. The wiring will definitely need replaced. It looks like it is aluminum underneath all the paint. Maybe you can see this in the pictures. Please look at pictures. Vintage Chandelier from the 1930's American Polychrome Depression Era Lighting
This is a cool old chandelier from the 1930's. It is called polychrome(I just found that out) and this one is really nice. Of course it needs rewiring.the wires are old and some have been cut but a chandelier this old needs a rewiring to be safe. This is a depression era piece that I think would look great in a number of venues.cottage chic. Shabby chic, French cottage style& I would even put it in an industrial or rustic room. Everything is there the metal has a perfect patina that only age can do and it is simple and beautiful. Such a Pretty Chandelier! Although this piece has certainly seen better days and needs to be re-wired. It still has"great bones" Measures about 16" in diameter and just shy of 10" in height excluding the chain and top piece.
