The chandelier features a deep brass ... morebowl/pan with embossed, dimensional drapery swag pattern. The chandelier has 4, very long brass arms which hang from the bowl. The arms have a disc shaped center point feature for added interest. Each arm leads to a bell shaped socket. The sockets house old(possibly original) glass shades. The shades have a beaded glass texture and are a very pale root beer color. They are not marked but they do have Holophane characteristics. This is a fabulous fixture. The fixture was just removed from the previous owner's home. It is in good, working condition with vintage wiring. The fixture was flushed mounted to their ceiling, but, if you have very tall ceilings, you could add 4 strands of chain for a very large pan chandelier. The chandelier does not include a ceiling mount bracket but these are readily available at home improvement stores. The brass is in good condition with some very minor"age spots" and patina. There is nothing severe or distracting and this fixture is quite nice. The brass is not terribly thick and the chandelier is not heavy. The chandelier measures 26" tall. It is 18.5" in diameter at the pan. The arms are 12" apart. The glass shades are 4.5" x 4.5" They have a 2" fitter. Hello. This is a beautiful old light fixture prob. from the 20's or 30's. It actually looks as if it may have never been instaled. The little springie contact point in the bottom of the sockets(see pics) looks to haver never been pushed down, and I am talking about all 4. Of course the wireing is decayed and needs redone. Vintage Antique Brass 2 Arm Pan Chandelier Light Fixture Weber Switch
We have up for auction today a neat Old Light Fixture. The cap is 6 1/4in across and the fixture itself measures 10in across. Both the cap and pan part have ruffle ridges around the edge. The switches are marked WEBER. They turn pretty easy. The sockets hold a shade with a 2 1/4 in. opening. It has the old cloth wiring so it will"NEED REWIRING" As always I sell my electrical items"AS IS. This has been stored in the garage for years so it will need a really good cleaning and polishing. Antique Chandelier 4 Shade Pan Light Fixture
Up to auction a Victorian 4 light fixture from the 1920's. This fixture is made of solid metal and it has been restored. Rewired, only the four chain sockets have not been changed, there are working good. Canopy, body components, and finial have normal use due the age, shades have no chips or cracks. ANTIQUE Brass PAN CHANDELIER LIGHTING FIXTURE & Opalescent Iridescent Globes
Antique Brass& Acid Etched Opalescent Iridescent PAN CHANDELIER LIGHTING FIXTURE Gorgeous antique brass chandelier measuring 20" wide and 18" tall. Not including shades. It is a 5 light fixture with a large center globe and 4 small side globes. Also included is one spare side globe. The shades are in excellent vintage condition with just some minor paint speckling, I did not try to clean them as I did not want to damage the iridescent effect. Both the center shade and the side globes are beautiful acid-etched iridescent glass. See photos#6-10 for close ups. The large center shade measures 11.75" wide and 5.5" tall with a 9-7/8" fitter. The side globes measure 5.25" long by 4.25" wide with a 2-1/8" fitter. As for the brass fixture itself. I have not tested it for function although all the wiring ... moreseems to be in place. It also does have some definite signs of wear and age including some tarnish& minor oxidation and some minor splitting of the brass on the top the fixture which wouldn't be seen when displayed. I also like the lovely scalloped bottom edges. Like most stamped brass Pan fixtures of the era. This chandelier was painted originally. I have renewed the original nutmeg color. The sconces are now bare brass(how I found them) I can paint them to match the chandelier or ship them As Is. Please also note the two sweet finials on the chandelier(one on the canopy and the other on the Pan body) I love these type of small. Intact details. The wiring is new of course and cloth-covered like the original. For the hardware geek: On the chandelier. The shades are not held in place by the standard three screws but rather with an ingenious flexible thingy. You push two little eyelets together, slip the shade in, and let go. Cool. Vintage Art Nouveau 4 Arm Pan Light Chandelier with Center Dome Light
A wonderful almost all original pan light chandelier from the 1920's or 30's. Light has 4 arms and a center dome light. Light has been re-wired. Has 3 out of the 4 original Arrow fat boy paddle socket switches. The fourth switch has been replaced with a new period correct paddle switch which I installed in the original Arrow casing. The center light socket is original and the finish is all original. The hanging chain was replaced and I had to use a couple of different shade holding screw on one hanging cup which will not really be noticeable. As I said, the light has its original finish, a wonderful light milk chocolate color with gold highlights on the fantastic embossing around the bottom of the pan and on the hanging shade holders and ceiling bell. The center dome is 12" across, 5" deep and has a 10" fitter and is ... morefrosted with a cut to clear flower or starburst design. The dome does have some chipping on the inside of the fitter edge but is not affected by this. The center dome also has about a 1 1/4" crack that I found while taking the photos for this listing, imagine my disappointment. I did not see the crack all of the time I was cleaning and working on this light, thought maybe it occurred when I put in a bulb and turned it on so I have had the light on and off for extended periods of time to make sure the crack would not get bigger. It has not changed at all so I believe it is stable and will be fine if handled with care. The crack is just above the widest part of the dome and will probably not be visable when hung. I have included a photo of the crack. The pan is 15" across and total width, end of arm to end of arm is 22" Total hanging length is about 34" The arm socket holders are made for shades that have a 2 1/4" fitter. I will let the new owner install their own choice of shades if any. The light does have some minor scuffs and paint loss but is really nice for its age. The antique decorated opal glass shades are in excellent condition. The fixture is solid brass with the exception of the chain and finial and they are original to the fixture. Stunning Art Deco Glass Globe Pan Light-Circa 1920- The chandelier is in original condition including vintage cloth wiring. It also has antique Yost sockets. The globe of course was the center piece. The globe is clear with frost acid etchings. As well as the 4 socket lights. These are in very good condition. This includes original matching ceiling cap. The pictures tell the story. The base is in good shape the major issue I can see is some fraying in the caps that hold the shades. These are still fully functional and should not be a problem for usage. Brass Decorative 3 Arm Pan Chandelier Ceiling Light Flower Shades Finial Fixture
A very decorative ceiling chandelier with 3 arms. 3 bells with light sockets for bulbs and has the three shades. Needs rewiring and some cleaning/light refurbishing but overall very nice condition, complete with ceiling mount, and top and bottom finials. I think the pan is brass and the arms are steel, they are decorated with baskets of flowers looking up at the light as it would be on the ceiling. The shades are frosted and have blue and pink flowers and green leaves raised designs, the screws are all here and also the switch on each light. The switches have an F on them. Measurements are approx. 25" from ceiling to bottom of globes, 13 1/2" across the arms, about 8" from arm top to bottom of globe. Beautiful antique pan chandelier. Solid brass. Re-wired. Includes a cast iron mounting bracket. Very nice. The measurements are approximate. All sides are shown. Click and enlarge the image for a detailed view. The overall hang to the bottom of the finial is 22" Outside diameter across the arms is 18" The ceiling cap is 3 1/4" x 5" diameter. The fitters are a standard 2 1/4" diameter. Ornate quality workmanship. Cast Inside the arms: PAT'D NOV 1920" Solid brass top to bottom including the chain and the fitter screws. The only part not brass is the cast metal flower medallion. All parts have been buffed and clear coated. All fitter screws in place. Good threads. One socket bell cover and ring have been replaced with near identical parts. Shown. All joints are snug. Standard size paddle switch sockets. Sockets ... morerated at 250w-250v. Strong clicks. The inside body of the sockets are ceramic. A striking addition to your home. Re-wired. The modern bulbs shown are not included but are available at most hardware stores. A few minor character nicks.
