Aesthetic Era Burgess & Co Flint China Master Chamber Pot In The Rugby Pattern
I fell in love with this when I first saw it and I am delighted to offer this to the market. This is a master chamber pot. These were used by maids to remove the water that was used in wash bowls in the days before plumbing was accessible to most people. The base of this is marked with the Burgess Co brown logo and has Flint and Rugby as well as the symbol. This pot is from the late 1800's to early 1900's. The pot is made from"flint China" which was a grade of ware between porcelain and white granite. The pot has a stunning botanical bouquet splayed across the main body on each side. The colors on the flowers remain vibrant against the muted grey tones stems. There are matching flowers on the lid as well. The outer edge of the pot has a pie crust edge that has a thin gold band painted on it. There are handles on the sides ... morethat have gold accents and the cover has gold around the outer edge and on the handle. The pot stands approximately 8.75" high to the pie crust edge. With the top on it is approximately 11.25" high. There is a fine crazing/cracking to the glaze on this. There are two small cracks at the top of the pot but they look like they are more in the glaze ass opposed to the sides of the pot being cracked. I will be happy to email additional pictures if requested. There is also a reddish brown mark on one side that can be seen in the photos. It also appears that there is some age related discoloration at the base. It is hard to see it unless you hold it a certain way in the light. There are losses to the gold trim and there are a few areas where there are losses/scratches to the botanical motifs as well. There is wear to the bottom edge of this that is appropriate for age and use. This is a previously owned item and it is being sold as shown. Antique Vitreous Chamber Pot made by EDWIN M. KNOWLES CHINA Co. The identification#s on the bottom are 24-1-10. This has absolutly no chips. It does have crazing inside and out. There is a small star like crack That is shown in the pics. This crack only shows on the outside. It can not be seen on the inside, So I don't know if this is really considered a crack or just more crazing. From what I found researching on the net, this was made in 1924.

This is a wonderful antique Semi-Vitreous porcelain chamber pot. It is a lovely rusty orange and white around the outside and all white on the inside. It has a scrolling accent design around the center of the outside and a handle with some scroll designs also. The bottom is marked with the green stamp mark of the bird with wings spread and the words. semi-vitreous porcelain" written around it. Underneath that is says, K.T. H. Co. This old pot is in good condition for its age. It does have some crazing on the inside bottom, but not bad. Around the outside, there are some paint scratches and scuffs. The bottom base edge has two 1/2" to 3/4" chips along its edge. But that is it! This piece is very old and looks pretty good for its age. Antique. Covered chamber pot with deep magenta and green colors. Fine beading and gold accent along edge of cover. Very ornate cover handle and large handle. A stress line in the cover handle has been reinforced on one edge where it attaches to the pot. There are two tiny chips on underside of cover. These two things are the only imperfections in an other wise exquisite antique. Very old and rare.

Vintage Chamber Pot Admiral V.P. Co., White Porcelain, Handle, Large/Decorative
Very large. Heavy white porcelain chamber pot made by Admiral V.P. Co. I couldn't find information as to when the company manufactured these pots but would expect that it must have been in the early 1900s as chamber pots went out of fashion in the utility sense probably sometime after the 1920s. This one is in nice condition except for two chips on the bottom rim and a larger area where it appears the glazing has worn away. The chips are barely noticeable unless the pot is turned upside down as they extend only slightly above the bottom of the rim. The wire bail is completely rusted with the rust having leached onto the porcelain where the bail inserts into the side holes. There is a black wooden handle which is in very good condition with only minor age wear. There is some light crazing but the pot is shiny and would make a nice decorative ... morepiece in a bathroom or a beautiful large planter. The pot is 9-1/2" tall with a diameter of 9" and weighs 5+ pounds. Pick up may be arranged in SE CT to avoid the expense of shipping. This is a listing for an Enoch Wedgwood& Co. Royalstone ironstone chamber pot with its lid. It dates from 1860-90. Based on the pottery mark. Enoch was the cousin of Josiah Wedgwood. The pot and its lid are in very good condition for their age. The lid has had three chip repairs at its rim, and one of the repairs has a crack leading from it(about 1/2" to the inner rim of the lid on its underside, and about 1 1/4" un the lid on the outside) The base is free of chips and cracks. It has some minor scratching and is in remarkable shape. There is a slight amount of scuffing on the exterior of the pot. The pot is about 8 1/4" in diameter and measures about 9 1/4" across with its handle. It is about 5 1/8" high. With i's lid the height is about 7 1/4" Please study the pictures for details. It is also deeply accented around the top and the lid with Gold. This is all original. The bottom is marked Eturia mellor&co. And comes with a matching pitcher. The inside is supreme for the age and the lid is fine too. Wedgwood & Co Royal Stone Chamber Pot and Lid Ironstone -A
I retired in mid-2009 with the objective of clearing my house of excess in short order. A goal at which I have failed miserably. I am trying to get back on board. I have finally convinced family and friends to stop bringing stuff for me to sell as I have enough already! If you buy this 136 year old chamber pot no one will ever be able to clain you don't have a pot to p* in. Enoch Wedgwood was a distant cousin of Josiah Wedgwood. He founded his pottery in 1860 and it continued into the 20th century intil being absorbed into the Wedgwood Group. The pot stands 8-1/2" with lid and is about 10-1/2" long. The bowl is 8-1/2" One small inderglaze chip on the foot of the pot. A scratch on the lid and crazing to the glaze. The Wedgwood& Co. Royal Stone China stamp is on the bottom as is a British registry mark for 1877. Inside ... moreand out you can see 3 equidistant stilt marks from when the glaze was applied. Antique English Brown Transferware Field Flowers BWM & CO Chamber Pot
This is a very nice antique English Ceramic Chamber Pot"Field-Flowers" by the"B.W.M. Co" Brown-Westhead& Moore. Co. This pot is in very good condition with one very tiny flaw under the curved handle it has a little minute gap that occurred during the firing. This pot has a gorgeous brown transfer ware pattern of flowers. Wheat and ferns. It has the original makers mark on the bottom including a raised makers mark also. There are no chips and no glazing. A few very fine marks in the inside bowl. Chamber Pot measures: 8.25” diameter and is 4.75” tall. The handle is in very good condition also.

C P Marquette Co Antique Chamber Pot
This is an antique white ceramic/porcelain chamber pot made by the C P Marquette Co and marked on the base of this piece. From the research I have been able to determine that the C P Marquette was located in Trenton. New Jersey and made white ware such as this in the late 1800's and closed before 1900. There some marks on the base, 3 spots on the inside, and some marks around the handle and one on the handle, otherwise no chips or crazing. Beautiful condition for an Antique of this age. This would be a lovely planter, or a great piece for a flower arrangement! The measurements of this piece are: Height 5 1/4 inches. Base 6 1/2 inches. Diameter 8 3/4 inches top.

Antique W& C. P. Co. Opaque China Pitcher& Bowl, with matching Chamberpot& lid. This set is in very good condition. It has a green lily of the valley pattern, and sponged on gold trim. This piece was handed down through my family, but I do not know its exact age. The chips that are present are unnoticeable as you look at the set. The chamberpot lid has 3 chips on the underside of the lid. The chamberpot has one chip under the lip. And also one chip on the"foot" Please take note of pictures 5-7 for these blemishes. The Pitcher and Bowl have no chips. But the glaze is crackled as often is the case with old china. Bowl is 16 inches in diameter. Pitcher is 11 inches high. Charming Chamber Pot England Antique J W Pankhurst Co

It comes from J.W. Pankhurst& Co. in Hanley, England. It is made of Stone China with a lovely adornment on the handle and on the piece where the handle attaches, no chips, cracks, or crazing. There are a few little dark marks in the glaze and some fine scratches in the bottom inside. Early Victorian porcelain chamber set.chamber pot with lid and soap dish. The porcelain is decorated with a lovely gold gilt. The gold decoration is worn and/or faded in places. There is a sizeable flaked chip on the under rim of the chamber pot. Not really noticeable with the lid on. The inside of the soap dish is missing it's drip plate. Both pieces marked with rare and hard to find Kermit M.G. Co. marks. The measurements are approx. Chamer pot is 8 3/4" wide and stands 7 3/4" tall. Soap dish is 3 1/2" tall and 5" wide.

Antique CHAMBER POT Made in England BRISTOL POUNTNEY & CO LTD Floral Design
Up for auction is a great piece of American history. This Chamber pot was made in Bristol England by Pountney& Co. Ltd. in the early 1900's. The pot is fully marked on bottom and is authentic. There looks like a number is signed in red saying 6304p and an S. Not sure what all that means. I have never seen this old of a pot be in such good condition. The designs are totaly intact and not faded. Colors are green, gold, rust, and light brown. Most of the gold edging is still there with only a couple of worn areas. The pot measures 8.5" center diameter and 4.75" in height. The total with handle is 9.75" I have felt around the whole piece and feel NO chips, however there are a few hairline crazing cracks which I have taken pictures of. They are not deep, they are just on the surface. This pot weighs alot so I am shipping ... morepriority flat rate. Chamber pots were used as far back as the 6th century BC. The introduction of indoor toilets started to displace chamber pots in the 19th century but such pots were in common use until the mid-20th century. From the top of the lid to the bottom of the chamber pot the height is 8 1/2 inches tall. The pattern for this pot is called Queens. I think it refers to the shape of the pot.
