One Pair of Early Antique Barn Door Rollers - Architectural Element - Hardware
This listing is for one pair of early antique barn door rollers recovered from a carriage house in Baltimore. MD. The photos show two pair. The listing is for the remaining pair of rollers- the pair with the spoked wheels. They are in excellent working order with wheels that spin freely and no chips or cracks. The mounting plates measure 9" X 4" with 2" diameter wheels. The pieces measure aproximately 12" in overall length. They are made for heavy doors with huge mounting plates that can accomodate a door between about 1 1/2" up to 2 3/4" thick. I have most of the original bolts, but a few are bent. No 2 Antique Pair ALLITH PROUTY RELIABLE HANGERS BARN DOOR ROLLERS 1901 1903
Take a look at this vintage pair of ALLITH-PROUTY COMPANY RELIABLE HANGERS for the old style barn/shed sliding doors. These are heavy weight cast iron constructed. Patented NOV 19th. 1901 and DEC 8th, 1903. They were classified as No. 2 size. Made in Danville, Ill. All four rollers on these barn door hangers move freely. On one of the upper guide rollers, there is a crack in the cast iron. This won't affect the usability of the unit. I’ve shown the crack in picture#3. Thanks for looking at my auction! A pair of Myers Stayon antique barn door rollers with 7' 10" pc of track
A pair of antique barn door rollers that read. Myers Stayon Adjustable Ashland O USA. They have no chips or cracks and the 2 5/8" wheels turn like they should. All the adjustment screws turn very easily with ones fingers. The rollers are in very good working condition. The pc of nice straight track is 7' 10" long, with all the hanger brackets intact. The track pc does have a ware spot from the old door sitting in one spot for a long time, that is 3" in from the right end. The track rail measures 1 1/4" by 3/16" with a total height of 3 7/8" to top of bracket. Shipping to the lower 48 US States only.

For your restoration project. This auction is for a pair of Antique Myers Stay On Barn Door Rollers(Cast Iron) the Hanging Brackets, and 6' of Original Steel Track. They show the Myers name and Ashland, Ohio manufacturing location. The date shows May 28, 01, signifying 1901. They are in perfect working order, with all moving parts and bolts oiled and freely moving. The rollers are 7" wide and combined with the hanging brackets. Are approximately 11 1/2" tall. They are adjustable for height clearance needed. The track is perfectly straight and strong. 1 1/8" wide and 3/16" thick, with only some minor rust patina. Up for bid is an antique pair of Myers Barn Door Rollers. Cast in 1888, that serviced a door on a blacksmith forge, on a farm in Central Massachusetts. The forge is now coming down. I don't have the lower brackets that mount on the door. Manufactured in Ashland. Ohio, they have a heavy rusty patina, but the casters still turn easily and freely. The adjustable nuts on the threaded rods turn easily as well. One of the casters has some large chips out of it, look at the pictures) but it still turns and will still glide on the track, should you decide to use them. They are 7" wide and 6" tall. This is a pair of old cast iron barn door rollers made by F.E. Myers of Ashland. Ohio. They are from the late 1800s and carry chippy red paint and rust. The wheels turn well and there is a small chip on one of the wheels of one roller(see photos) but they wored well before they were removed. These are lovely architectural pieces in a rare style. Pair Antique Hand Forged Iron Strap Hinges for Barn Door w/ Hardware c. 1880's
Pair of Antique Hand Forged Iron Strap Hinges For a Barn Door or Old Door with Primitive Hardware. Offering a pair of beautiful hand forged antique iron strap door hinges with hardware. Circa 1880’s. It appears the straps were forged as a pair because the viewable design(as it would display on a door) has the same pattern. I.e. both having two holes that are set roughly the same distance apart. Plus. The white spots are on both and the heart finials are shaped basically the same with one ticking off to the top and one to the bottom. The top hinge is 15” long and is rolled back and flatten. It has a 5/8” hole. The 15 ¾” bottom strap’s roll back is shorter and more finely forged into the main body of the strap. Perhaps because the craftsman did not have the length of material needed to make the same shaped roll back as the shorter strap. ... moreIt has a ½” hole. As for the hardware. The straight 5” drivable piece fits well under the 15” top strap. In other words. It lines up perfectly so a pin can be inserted though both pieces. All that is missing. To make the whole set complete, is the pin. The hinge pin for the bottom is 5 ½” long by 2 ½” at the widest part. The size is such that it will fit both straps if someone wanted to switch the smaller strap to the bottom for some reason. They have a beautiful aged and untouched patina with good form and design. Both have breathtaking. Well formed hearts/spears ends. They are in excellent“as found” condition. I think the white on the straps is from aged. Dried out bird poop but I’m not positive. I’ll leave the clean up to the buyer as it’s my policy to sell antiques in their original or as found condition. There is no major rust damage. Only light surface rust. Which I left. Adds character. They seem to function perfectly. They measure 8" in length and 5" tall when collapsed. From outside of one wheel to the outside of the other it measures 2 1/2" This set has a nice patina to them. So they could be used for show or add some oil and hardware and put them to use. Pair of Antique Horse Shoe Barn Door Rollers W/ 8ft Track. 1850's Carriage House
Antique? barn door rollers with 8 feet of track. They were taken out of a really neat carriage house built in the 1850's. I have no idea how old these actually are. We removed them by hand. No torching or cutting. All I can say is.it was not easy. =) The carriage house and the original residential house were going to be torn down for a parking lot. The carriage house was so beautiful and just thinking of the history. I hated to see every thing just thrown away. The rollers measure approx. 12 1/4 inches in height. 13 3/4 to the bottom or the rollers. 15 1/2 wide at the bottom. These are the bigger rollers. Eight feet of track. The track and rollers still seem very solid to me. There is surface rust but I couldn't find anything rusting through. The track is a little bumpy. I did clean these as well as I could with a bad wrist. There ... morewas a lot of years worth of dust and grease so believe me when I say. You would not have wanted them as is. After cleaning, I sprayed with some WD40 to prevent rusting so there is still a thin layer of that. If you want to remove it, just use some degreaser. There are probably areas I couldn't clean real well especially around the wheel. So they might need some light cleaning. For the track. You will see four(I don't know what they are called) whatever they are that the track attaches to with a bolt. There is one missing but it did roll perfectly fine when we opened and closed the door. For those who may think only a"Top Rated" Vendor can be trusted to be a good seller. I lost my status because I didn't list/sale enough in a certain amount of time. Frankly I don't think it goes hand in hand but I will have it back when I sell more items in a certain amount of time. They actually told me I got it back but I don't see it so who knows what they are doing. Nice matching pair of antique cast iron barn door rollers complete with 8 feet of track so these are read for use! these are bare cast iron which looks awesome but they could easily be painted to suit your project's needs. The wheels all turn freely. There is no damage or repairs, these are in great original condition and are fully functional, all the nuts move freely so these are full adjustable. They are marked Myers Stayon, made in Ashland Ohio and have" Pat. May 28 1901" Each measures 11 3/4" tall(though that is adjustable) and 7" wide. The wheels are 2 1/2" diameter. The track/ rails are 4 feet long and you get 2, so 8" total which can be cut down if required- let me know if you only need 1 track as shipping will be less.
