Antique Blacksmith Forged Iron Primitive Farm Barn Door / Gate Hinges Massive!
These hinges are really big. Really heavy, really old, and really NEAT looking. Both together weigh 31 pounds. You can tell these were forged. I like how the outside edges were given a bevel. These hinges have spent most of their 100 plus years outside so there is rust and pitting. With proper care, they could last another 100 years. Use them inside or out or just hang them as they are for decoration.

~ 2 VINTAGE NATIONAL BARN DOOR ROLLERS / HANGERS ~ BIG 4 ~ ANTIQUE FARM HARDWARE
Offered are two. Never-used"Big 4" barn door rollers made by National Manufacturing of Sterling, Illinois. To be clear, these are not 100-year old antiques, and are likely of late 20th century manufacture. Each roller is about 10 inches long and 5-3/4 inches wide at the horseshoe-shaped part. The pulleys themselves are about 3-1/4 inch. These are pretty heavy-duty hangers and each weighs about 3-1/2 pounds. While the rollers were never used. They do have considerable paint loss and light corrosion in those areas. There is no damage or deformation anywhere in the metal. They are as perfectly functional as the day they were made. Scuff marks, pitting found to the metal, and these items appear to have been repainted at one time. We believe the larger piece is for a large door latch and the smaller piece to be a hinge. The larger piece measures approximately.25” x 10.5” x 2.25” at its largest dimensions. For your consideration is this pair of National Mfg. Co. Big 4" Horseshoe Barn Door Rollers" Each roller measures approximately 10 1/4" tall and 5 3/4" wide. I found no signs that these were ever installed(see photos. No tracks on rollers or imprints by bolts or barn door on horseshoe bracket) and believe they are new. They were found on a shelf in the barn of a farm estate sale(with the second pair I have listed) and no telling how long they have been in that barn. The roller and the hinge on both move freely and smoothly and I would rate these both in good condition. The box has been wet at some time and a mouse might have had a bite or two. The brackets do have some surface rust and the high spots do show shelf wear. The new owner will decide to refinish or just wipe off and use as-is with character marks and all. 2 VINTAGE CAST IRON AP SLIDING BARN DOOR LATCH ~ GATE GARAGE SHED FARM LOCK TOOL
Offered are two identical cast iron sliding door latches. These are marked AP. I've seen identical latches marked"AP. ALLIGATOR. Perhaps they made these for applications where reptile references were unwelcome. These are a spring action latch and were used on many kinds of sliding doors and gates. Additionally they could be padlocked, and could be opened from either side of a wall with a handy pull chain. I'm not sure of the exact age of these, but they are positively old. The latches are about 7 inches long and 3-3/4 inches across in the latched position. They each weigh a bit over a pound. They are cast iron with steel springs and pins. The flat chain is copper. I can't see any signs of use or wear. But they may have been gently used. There are no cracks, breaks or bends anywhere. The springs are strong and the latch action ... moreis firm and positive. There are remnants of old black paint. I'm not sure these had much of a paint coat when new. There is minor corrosion, mainly on the backs. They are clean and perfectly operational. Please look the pictures over closely. Winner pays for USPS Priority in the USA. I do not profit from shipping and do my best to keep it safe at lowest cost. Quick. Too. Offered is a pair of identical steel barn door rolling hangers. These are generally used to hang sliding doors on barns and sheds. They are capable of carrying large doors and. When properly mounted, are easily operated. These are never-used old stock hardware. They are unmarked so I cannot ID or date them. They likely date to the second half of the 20th century. Please observe that these hangers have wheels with convex surfaces, and are not slotted like some. Each hanger is about 8-1/2 inches tall and 7 inches wide across the wheels. The bolt part is about 4 by 5 inches. Each roller wheel is about 2-3/4 inches in diameter and about 5/16 inch thick at the outer convex rim. They are mounted on on about 4-1/2 inch centers. Additionally the hanger is made so the door can swing outwards a few degrees if needed. Each weighs about 2-3/4 pounds. ... moreThere is some paint loss and those areas have very light rust. More so on the backside of one hanger. All the wheels turn smoothly and the other moving parts are in as-new condition. All I did was wipe them off.
