Detailed measurements are approx. 41 high x 36 width 15.5 deep and the drawer fronts measure about 17x7 each. New clear updated measurements. Or it's age, however, the craftsmanship ... moreis very nice. The top is dovetailed, and in spite of a little bit of separation of the back from the top, it remains a very sturdy piece. It measures 8.5 x 3.5 x 5.5. There are two doors on the front, each with a long oval mirror. There's a large drawer underneath the doors, and inside there are two tray/shelves which are removable. There are some markings on the back of these shelves, as well as some pencil markings on the bottom of the piece. Please study all pictures closely, as I have tried to show all defects. This bedroom suite consists of four pieces. Full size bed. Vanity with stool and original mirror and shorts dresser, and chest with doors known as the gentleman's chest. The wood is walnut or oak. There are many carvings of urns and roses. The gentlemans chest has two doors with urns and flowers with 4 drawers as well as an additional drawer on the bottom. The vanity has a triple rectangular mirror with 3 drawers on each side and space for the vanity bench. There are motifs on each side of the drawers. We have had this beautiful piece for about 10 yrs. We bought it from a man who was moving and said Rose Kennedy gave it to him. He said he was moving furniture and a few of these at her house in Hyannis MA and she asked if he wanted one as she didn't need them all. Antique vintage armoire wardrobe waterfall--closet cedar lined--5 drawers
A pre-owned armoire wardrobe with original casters- in the waterfall design from the art deco period. A metallic gold seal inside the top drawer reads Hooker Bassett Seal of Quality. Stenciled on the back is XO 30 ROBE. It is 36" wide x 60" tall x 20" deep. With inside closet measurements of 20" deep x 16-1/2" wide x 56" high. The drawers are dovetailed and four drawers are 15-1/4" x 14-3/4" x 8" deep. The fifth(top) drawer measures the same accept it is 6" deep. The mirrored top adds 6" to that side height measurement. Overall, the original casters add 2" to the height. They also make it easy to move. The knobs and pulls are of a white metal with marbleized pink thermoplastic decoration-celluloid or Catalin. Etc. It is a quality wardrobe in very good solid condition. There are very ... moresmall pieces of veneer missing mostly on the bottom. There is a tiny piece missing on the top edge of the third drawer down and a crease in the front of the second drawer from the top. The mirror has some small issues. The interior is lined with Mahogany, and features two areas of different heights for hanging garments, plus one upper shelf for accessories.
