Or it's age, however, the craftsmanship ... moreis very nice. The top is dovetailed, and in spite of a little bit of separation of the back from the top, it remains a very sturdy piece. It measures 8.5 x 3.5 x 5.5. There are two doors on the front, each with a long oval mirror. There's a large drawer underneath the doors, and inside there are two tray/shelves which are removable. There are some markings on the back of these shelves, as well as some pencil markings on the bottom of the piece. Please study all pictures closely, as I have tried to show all defects. Any questions. Please ask. I accept payment via pay pal. And expect payment within two days of auction's end. For safest and fastest delivery I ship USPS priority mail unless otherwise stated/offered an item description. I will combine shipping if it is safe to do so. This is a vintage. Authentic chinese armoir from the 1880's. From the Shanxi Province. It has the wax seal of approval/authenticity from the Chinese Government. It has beautiful decorative drawings, 6 drawers, and one large top cabinet with two accordion doors. The upper right panel has a chinese poem, which is translated and included in writing; see photos. Antique Maple Cabinet, Tiger Maple Armoir, Tillotson Wood Converted Radio Cabine
This is an early American Cabinet. Or converted radio cabinet, made in James Town New York by the Tillotson Furniture Manufacturing Corporation. The front of the cabinet is Tiger Maple. This is in beautiful condition with few marks or chips on the outside. The inside has holes where the radio(probably) was connected. Both sides of the cabinet open. The side not pictured is lattice work. All the doors open and close nicely. The top of the cabinet is also in excellent condition. The year of manufacture is from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. I am selling my beautiful antique armoire as I am trying to make more space in my apartment. This armoire is both gorgeous and functional. I had 2 wood rods installed and I use it as a coat and shoes closet. It also has 2 very deep drawers and a full length mirror. It's perfect for a small apartment that has limited closet space. That's what I first bought it for. The piece is in excellent vintage condition with only some minor wear. Solid cherry wood. Measurements are 6' 8" tall. 17 1/2" deep and 4' 51/2" wide. Very useful piece of walnuts furniture, with elegant inlaid, made by an artisan for my family(grandmother Bianca) as wedding dowry(matching mirrored buffet in other auction) and brought from Italy 10 years ago. It is a very large 3 mirrored doors wardrobe that comes completely apart and moves very easily. It keeps it all neat and tidy in one place and may act as a room divider as well! This accommodates a chest of drawers. 3 hanging closet and the large flat shelf, it holds everything! It is Italian from late 1800's. From the most well known inlaid cabinet makers city(south to Naples) named Sorrento. 19th Century Antique Italian Armoir/Wardrobe
Large late 19th Century Antique Italian Armoir circa 1890. Made in Italy& has 4 doors. The central 2 solid wood doors feature full length arched. Beveled mirrors, which are flanked by 2 beautiful matched, inlaid, burled walnut, curved door, with original brass ormulu details. The top cornice/frieze is encrusted with ornate scrolled vine design brass ormulu detailing all the way around the top. Between the doors at the top are ormula shell designs. All the original ormulu is intact. There is an abundance of storage inside. Rare to find 4 door armoirs. The piece comes apart to facilitate moving it. Very well proportioned. Antique Wood Wardrobe Closet Armoir Lates 1890 - 1910 Est. Pick up Only
Rustic Old Wardrobe Closet estimated to be late 1800's to 1910's. This was not a top of the line closet by any means. But has a great deal of charm and character. The wheels and interior metal pulls for hanging clothes appear to be original. The little holder shown inside the left closet door was added at some point later on. I'm not an antique dealer and know little about this except for what you can see in the pictures. Also, there is a big stain on the bottom of the cabinet. I'd rather not mess with it. Antique Wood Doll Furniture Dresser Armoir Cabinet
Up for auction is an antique wood doll cabinet primitive dresser recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. It is found in fair used condition. This box is covered with a grain paint painted paper over a pine wood. It has a divided interior of 4 shelves. One larger than 3 similar sized. This box has several stains, scratches, and losses of the paper throughout. It appears that the hinges and hasp are vintage replacements, not original. The hasp shuts the front doors but they do not close together. There is early writing on the side, Small Childs Dishes for Annie Age 6. This primitive box measures approx. 8 1/4" x 11 7/8" and 4 3/4" deep. Nice project for display items, looks very nice as an open shelf. Great country primitive repurpose piece. This armoir measures 83-1/4 inches tall at the center and it is approximately 45-12 inches wide and 18 inches deep. We are not certain what year it was manufactured. But the hardware is very old. It measures about 108 inches wide. By 107 tall and is 18.25 inches deep. It disassembles to load into a van or pick up truck but it would be best to keep it as is as with each time it's unscrewed the wood might get damage in some sort of way since it is an antique piece. LOVE this cabinet! It’s in fantastic condition…no damage at all to the gorgeous. Shellacked finish(which is rare for a 70-80 YO cabinet this size! No scratches in the wood(not sure of species) The colors are honey and walnut(with amber shellac) I don't know if the finish is original.it appears to be(I've not done anything at all other than dust it:^) The camera flash makes it appear more orange than in reality.please refer to the non-flash pix for actual tones.
