It ... moreis a ceiling mount fixture with 5 frosted slip shades. It is a beautiful fixture that is a cast metal with a copper finish. It measures roughly 16” tall and 16” wide. The glass shades measure 8 ¾” x 6 ½” The condition is very nice. There is some paint around the edges of top mount piece. There is a little wear to the post. The glass is in nice shape… no chips or cracks– there are rough edges and a little of the frost has wore in areas not seen upon display(except one tiny spot) We believe this is a Merkel fixture and it is numbered(starting with an“8” though we are uncertain of some digits(with a“T” above the numbers) The fixture has been rewired with new sockets… though the original ceramic bases were saved. Free Shipping Location: New Orleans, United States I have up for sale a wonderful vintage Art Deco circa 1920s- 30s LINCOLN MFG CO 5 slip shade hanging lamp light fixture. Estate fresh and in Very Good ... moreto Excellent As Found Condition. These are nice big shades.Larger than most slip shades commonly seen. They measure approx 6-3/4" from top to bottom, and are made of thick heavy glass, weighing approx 1 lbs 8 ounces each. This is an original matching set of shades, all have the same coloration and mold design. All the shades are in Excellent Condition- there is some normal age appropriate light wear but nothing that is significant. A few minor nibbles/ flea bite nicks but overall they are in great shape. One shade does have an inner rim chip but this is barely noticed from the exterior. The coloration and finish is excellent, the shades have a fired on finish. The design mold definition is excellent as well. There are No cracks,No breaks,no repairs, any wear is lighted to meager flea bite nips and one shade with an inner rim small chip that barely shows through to the front. The fixture itself is in Very Good original condition as well. No Damages- no cracks. No breaks, no repairs, etc. There is some age appropriate wear to the finish- some losses to the paint- nothing major but noted. The frame has not been cleaned and nor has the wiring or sockets been tested. All looks good, but I have not wired it up and tested it. The shades will be packaged with great care. Double boxed and most likely will be shipped separately from the fixture because of size. This is an original Consolidated Art glass chandelier shade. The bottom of the shade(bowl) measures 12 inches across and 5 inches deep. There are only little flea bites to the glass they are hard to see in the pictures. There is one bubble in the glass on the outside. The applied paint finish is good with only very minor variations. Antique Art Deco Ceiling 5 Light Chandelier Polychrome Paint Fleur-De-Lis
Antique Art Deco Cast Aluminum 5-Socket Ceiling Light Fixture/Chandelier. Fleur-De-Lis Design, Original Polychrome Paint The ceiling light retains the original wiring in very good condition. I used the light in my home and recently decided to go with a little more formal Art Deco crystal chandelier. Hence. The offering of this wonderful ceiling light. The ceiling light is in working condition. You'll notice a small ring directly in the center on the bottom. The ring shows some light wear most likely from some type of ornament or prism. that was hung. The 5 matching fat boy sockets with paddle switches are original. The chain is original but was shortened to a drop of 21 inches(top of ceiling cap to bottom of bobeches) Inserted bulbs will add to the overall drop. The ceiling light was meticulously cleaned and professionally sprayed with ... moresemi-gloss top coat lacquer to preserve and enhance the original paint. Close inspection of the ceiling light will find only small and minimal areas of paint loss and/or wear. The wiring is original in good condition. The wiring doesn't appear to be brittle. There are no insulation breaks or fraying of the outer covering. Heat shrink tubing as been applied to the lead ends but will be obscured by the ceiling cap. Notice how the wire covering picks of the colors of the paint scheme. Because of the original wiring I cannot underwrite or indemnify the use of the ceiling light. You may want to replace the wiring. Each socket has a switch. There is a little play in one of the switches but will stay positioned. Many similar light fixtures used a cast iron hanger under the ceiling cap. When these lights were used originally there were no electrical boxes in the ceilings; only a hole for the wire. The cast iron hanger was attached to lath above the plaster. This ceiling light has outfitted with a pipe nipple and crossbar for easy and updated installation. As noted previously. The drop is 21 inches. Item is 15" wide& that center piece measures 6" top to bottom. Hopefully this helps with specs. Pic one is the side you will see looking up at the ceiling. Pic two is the underside that faces the ceiling. So is pick 3. Item will neeed some re-assembly specifically the part I can not figure out how to screw back into the base I am holding up in pic 2. It will also need re-wiring. At the end of the chain link there is another piece that would screw into something. I'm guessing your ceiling mount. For your consideration here is a lovely vintage old chandelier ceiling light fixture with 5 original ivory/ cream color original glass globes. There's a nice hand blown heavy glass round"ball" shaped piece on the chandelier. The entire chandelier is all completely original. It is made from multiple types of metals. I am not 100% sure what all the metals are but I think at least some of the metals may be brass. Cast metal, possibly bronze.some of the metal is magnetic and most of it is not magnetic. There's a little rust on the magnetic round disk shaped piece near the middle area of chandelier but it's nothing I would consider major. The chandelier does show use and age but still a fantastic chandelier with wonderful art nouveau/ Victorian designs& patterns. The 5 glass globes are all the original globes.they do ... morehave tiny, tiny barely there flea bites around the opening but they are not noticeable.I only saw them with my magnifying glass when I was looking the chandelier. Rare Art Deco Duplexalite Chandelier /Brass & Milk Glass Ceiling Light Fixture
Beautiful gleaming brass and sparkling milk glass come together to create this fantastic Art Deco era light fixture. Rarely seen and expensive at the time it was made, this style of light fixture was used and can still be found in The White House in Washington D.C. and in wealthy 1920's estates across the United States, most notably in Al Capone's Florida home. Made by Duplexalite. This ceiling fixture features a stamped curving light shield embossed with swags of garlands and rosettes, the interior a brilliant white fired on enamel liner. The down light reflector is of a heavy milk glass embossed with a similar classically inspired design as photographed. Still matched with its original chain and ceiling cap. This beautiful piece is in great condition as shown with no dents, cracks or chips to the reflector ring and only a few tarnish ... morespots here and there, the electrical cap, with its original ceramic socket, has some slight wear damage to one of the holes for one of the protruding glass support arms but that is all, and the glass has no chips, cracks or damage. This is my grandfather's beautiful 1920's original art deco perio d chandelier which I inherited from his estate. He always told us it was bought in the 1930's from the estate of Jack Warner(Warner Bros) Unfortunately. We were unable to find any documentation to verify this. The upper is clear and the lower shade is light green with a beautiful art deco pattern. The lower part has glass tabs that insert into the slots of the upper part and rests on little ledges when turned 1/4 turn, as designed. Art Deco 4-Light Pan Chandelier P&S Sockets Vintage Lighting Fixture Needs TLC
We recently went to an auction that had great 1880s-1930s lighting fixtures. Lamps, etc. We know that some of them came from west central Ohio homes that were built during Ohio's railroad boom(most people don't think of Midwest railroad barons, but we had'em) We'll be listing these over the next couple of weeks. Unlike much of what we got at this sale. The finish on this chandelier looks like it's about 100 years old. The bobeshes are a little bent, and it needs to be rewired. However, all of the pieces are there, and all of the metal seems sound. It's a typical Art Deco. Neoclassical 4-light chandelier. The fixture's about 19" in diameter. It hangs down about 34. Great size for dining areas, living rooms, salons. It has 4 old P& S sockets. We're not sure if this fixture was made to have globes. Electric ... morelights were considered“exciting” about this time. And many fixtures featured bare bulbs because they were intriguing. The hardware stores have some“crystal” light bulbs out now that keep the bulb-only authenticity, and look attractive to modern eyes. This piece needs TLC. Please see the pictures. Style: The glass elements remind strongly on the works of Sabino. Lalique or D'Avesn. Materials: The suspension of the chandelier is made out of chrome-plated aluminum and the lampshadeholders are most likely made out of chrome-plated brass. The chandelier features an enormous. Molded and thick-walled opalescent glass bowl underneath and four identical lampshades also made out of thick-walled opalescent glass. The opalescent glass bowl is adorned with a comb-pattern. Parts are frosted while other parts are clear polished to accentuate the comb pattern. Condition: The chandelier is in excellent. Used condition. Beardslee Chandelier Co. Ceiling Lamp Art Deco Art Noveau 3 Shades One Light.
You are bidding on a Beardslee Chandelier Manufacturing Company Art Deco Ceiling Lamp with 3 slip shades. Beardslee was a well known manufacturer from Chicago. This lamp is a classic and decorative lamp that is about 21 inches tall and 8 inches deep. Maybe more with the shades. The lamp is in real nice shape with interesting decorations and colors. The shades are in good shape with interesting decorations and with only a tiny piece of glass missing, but it is an unseen piece that sits inside the chandelier and is not visible unless you take the shade out. You can see this little piece on the tab of one of the shades in the 6th picture. This is a dramatic and interesting lamp. The wire was cut and is probably too short and will need to be rewired, but the fix is easy as the lamp unscrews pretty easily. There is one light, three shades. It has a gorgeous cream colored column AND ceiling cap made of porcelain that is beautifully painted with floral motif and accented with gold.This was made by the famous Porcelier Company and it's rare to find the chandelier body and ceiling cap together. And in such fine condition. It is paired with this very nice, pale, sort of creamy beige-ish pink glass shade that is ribbed and scalloped and has no damage at all as far as chips. Vintage 1930's Art Deco etched shade and prisms ceiling fixture chandelier
For sale is an awesome circa 1930's art deco close to ceiling light fixture chandelier. This light has been completely refurbished and ready to hang. The fixture is about 16 inches wide and extends down from the ceiling about 12 inches. The fixture itself has a solid brass canopy which I did clean to a shiny brass color. I did not lacquer it so it will age to a beautiful antique brass color. The canopy is attached to a bobeche(prism holder) that holds 12 three inch prisms. The bobeche attaches to a glass piece which attaches to the main section that has the bulb holders. The light has three bulb holders that have been replaced with new Leviton porcelain bulb holders and new wiring. The metal has been painted grey. The shade is truly spectacular! It is a frosted glass with a grape and vine etched design along the outside edge. It also ... morehas a starburst design etched into the bottom section around the hole for the finial. The shade has a brass crown around it. The glass shade is in excellent condition and is without any chips or cracks except for some very minor chips around the edge of the hole for the finial. But is most likely made by Loys Lucha, a glass company from Paris(1920- 1935) that was specialized in handcrafted, enameled glass chandeliers(Emaux d'Art) Because of the very elaborated production process, this kind of chandeliers is very rare. Typical for Loys Lucha are the strong, colorful lampshades that most often show vibrant flower patterns. Materials: The hexagonal lampshade shows a decent etched decor and a stylized polychrome enameled flower decor on it's surface. The nickel-plated metal suspension is still original. The stamped flowers on the three application match perfectly with the enamel flower decor.
