LOT 3 ANTIQUE MAHOGANY SLIDING DOORS. BOOKCASE? Good condition for age. ANTIQUE. Original finish. Mahogany. These measures approximately 29-1/2" X 19-3/4" 3/4" thick. I believe they could be off a Bookcase. One of the doors is missing rollers. One door is missing glass. And, one door is missing a finger pull. Top edge has a 1/4" groove in the center. The glass is dirty, it will need cleaned and scraped. Between the 3 doors I am sure a pair can be used. Please check out pictures they are the best description. Antique bookcase with two glass doors and adjustible shelves from early 20th cen
I am selling an solid wood antique book case with carved claw feet. It was my grandmother's and was given to me when she passed away. I love this bookcase but I have no where to keep it and it has been sitting in storage since it was given to me. It is probably mahogany but maybe walnut. It is has two glass doors and locks. I should have the key. It has cast iron spoon shaped shelf pins which from what I have researched are from the early 1900's. There is a ding on the outside of the right door which is visible in the pictures and it is missing the door pull but is in good condition given its age. It would look absolutely stunning if refinished. It has beautiful carved details both on the doors and on the feet. Really a very lovely piece. Overall this bookcase remains in very good condition, although it has sustained some wear marks in the wood, particularly around the base. These marks are very minor and are normal for a piece of this age, lending it the genuine character of an antique piece. As a result this linenfold bookcase would make a fine addition to any period English furniture collection! This lovely oak bookcase dates back to 1950's England! This auction is for a very unique and petite size Dark Oak Bookcase from England with Leaded Glass Doors. It's a real sweet size that would fit into any room of your home. Both of the leaded glass doors are"crack-free" It has fluing on the edges of the frame along the front. Top and top of the backsplash. It has bracket style front legs/feet. It has a lock& key that still works. It has two(2) adjustable shelves. It has the original finish on it. It is 24" wide. 12" deep and 37" tall overall. It has a 3" backsplash around the top on three sides. Each door is 11 3/8" X 26 1/2" Both shelves are 23" X 10 1/4" It stands 6 1/2" off the floor in the front. It has a dark oak patina to it and is a little darker in real life than the pictures show. It has some dings. Some scratches and ... moreblemishes to the finish on the top. For it's overall age and travels it's in good condition and ready to set out and use and enjoy. The doors will be removed and shipped in a seperate package so the leaded glass doors will not get broken. You will need a small"flathead" screwdriver to reconnect the doors to the hinges.
