I am not sure if it has ... morebeen refinished or not as it appears to be in original condition, but it is great for the age. It has four dove tail drawer going down the left-hand side and four going down the right-hand side. The center drawer has round dove tail as expected from the Eastlake era. It has burl walnut trim on the fronts with an ogee bevel edge around the routed top. It has a black felt interior on the writing surface that is nice. The finish on the sides is amazing. It has panel sides, rope twisted molding, detail cast brass hardware, escutcheons are intact. There are no keys or locks. The desk is 48 inches wide, 27 inches deep and 30 inches tall. The space for your legs is 19 inches by 25 inches.

This antique desk features it’s original finish and a has a spindle gallery back that has one turn mini post missing. It has a big carved lion faces laughing with fangs and carving on the breadboard bevel edge slant lid. The drawer fronts are block front and have real true clam shell carving. This was no doubt a custom made piece with rope molding going down each post, rope braided along the base and detail ball and claw feet.

The desk comes with four raised panel dove tail drawers that retain all the original hardware. The center where the legs go have a reverse cove carving, which I have never seen in oak. It has a scallop bottom trim base, raised panels all the way around and a wide bevel edge on the solid tiger sawn oak top. The only negatives I see on the desk is that there is a little wear on the edge of the top from rubbing against something and there is a split going down the center of the top. We most likely could pull the top off and repair the top, which wouldn’t make a huge difference, but it is an expensive repair. The desk itself is high end quality.

Inc. crafted very fine reproductions of Louis XVI 18th and 19th Century antique furniture, marketing these to interior designers and decorators around the country from their showroom in New York City. It is an unusual desk with drawers opening on both sides and one door on both sides. Each side has a center drawer, a right-hand drawer, and a right-hand door. The desk was refinished in the last 10 years or so and whoever it was did a wonderful job. The desk has dainty carved cabriole legs with brass fillagree on the elbows and castors. The drawers are all dove tail with brass ribbed knobs. The doors have locks, but there is no key. The desk is in wonderful condition apart from two small cracks on the solid oak top that has nothing to do with structure and you wouldn’t want to touch it. The overall size is 52 inches wide, 28 inches deep and 30 inches high.

Antique Iron and Wood Attachable Desk Caddy. Vintage- 1930's or earlier. Well. I got this a l-o-n-g time ago(decades) from a swap-meet competitor. I've been looking to find the right desk(period. Style, etc) to hang it on without any success. The reason being- I really like it. It's a dandy. It's un-restored. Hardwood(not quite sure which) The iron is semi-ornate foundry quality. The wood resembles gun/rifle-stock. I'd like to tell you more about it if I could. If anyone can offer additional info. I'm all ears(and eyes) please do. Dimensions are(at furthest points) 30" Wide/ 15" High from Top shelf to Bottom of Iron/ 8" Deep. The 2 face surfaces. Of where the iron actually attaches(the only contact) to a desk, each measure 2 1/4" when measured outside-to-outside through the 2 upper screw-holes. ... moreMeasured top-to-bottom(as if mounted) each measures 4 1/2" ie- height = 2x width. Antique 1930's Solid Walnut or Maple Executive Desk( Lawyers Bankers Desk) by LINCOLN Desk Co This auction offers you the opportunity to bid on a solid walnut or maple executive size desk in very good original condition. It was made by the Lincoln Desk Company in 1936( I believe) as the patent number is 1936113. The age of the desk is an educated guess going by the patent number. Nice large full size banker or lawyers desk that has 6 drawers in all including the center drawer. With two additional pull out writing boards. No keys to the center drawer but you can change the lock very easily. Original finish on the wood and this desk has turned pedestal legs. Minor normal wear, all good solid walnut wood with dove tial joinery and the drawers all open and close smoothly as they should with the exception of the deep file drawer. It is a little ... moretight but closes completely. The drawers all have original brass pulls. Overall dimensions are 60" by 34" by 30 inches tall and I have a glass top for this desk. Nice well made desk back in the days when quality craftsmanship was important to success. Beautiful patina reflects the age of this desk. There is a Lincoln penny or brass insert and a brass patent number on the inside of the drawer that I have pictured. Here is your chance to own a piece of history from an era gone bye. Antique Oak desk circa 1930 from the European Revival Line by Lifetime Furniture
A masculine and substantial heavily carved solid oak desk. Paper stamp says"Lifetime Furniture" which is from the Grand Rapids Bookcase and Chair Co. operated until 1956) 36 1/2" wide by 66 1/2" long and 31" tall. This desk has spent its life. Up until a month ago, in the St. Ignatius Retreat House in Manhasset, NY. which has closed down. St. Ignatius is a Tudor Revival Palace built by utilities and tabacco mogul, Nicholas Brady in the 20's. It was also called Inisfada, meaning Long Island in Gaelic. In 1937 it was donated to the Jesuits. As the photos will show. The doors across the drawers are missing and two of the feet have a small section missing. There are a lot of surface scratches and a couple deeper one on the top. The finish is worn off in many places. This is a Vintage 1930's to 1940's Slanted Bureau Secretary Desk With Bookcase. Its in worn condition and needs to be refinished and has a lot of dings and scratches. It is beautiful with a slanted desk that pulls down and opens to a beautiful play for stationary. Etc. On top is a glass paneled curio cabinet/ bookcase. It has dove tail joints on the drawers. It has glue from tape that the previous owners used to move it. The drawers are very curvy and have beautiful original pulls. It has two original skeleton key holes for the desk and cabinets but no key and is not locked. it is now purely aesthetic but shows just how old the piece is.
