It is a solid oak 54 inches quarter sawn top. The table is 30 inches high and when all four leaves are inserted the table becomes 8 feet long. It is a good-looking table with a large reeded center column and a platform base that goes down into the biggest ball and claw feet I have seen in a long time. The table is in a medium oak stain. This lovely 19th century table extends out to 10 ft 4 inches and could accommodate several more leaves but only three original leaves come with the table. All the original bras casters on intact on the feet. Base and center leg and this table has a solid walnut top, raised panels of burl walnut accenting the apron and a splendid carved base which also has raised burl panels and carved scrolls accenting each leg. This table measures 30 inches in height from the floor to the top.With a height from the bottom of the table apron to the floor of 25 1/2 inches. Without any leaves the table measures 48 inches across, with 1 leaf in place 48" by 60" with 2 leaves in place 48" by 72 inches, with all 3 leaves ... morein place 48" by 84" and this table weighs approximately 150 lbs total. This Victorian Dining table has a beautiful presence and is solid and tight. There is an area on the edge of the table about 2 inches long that looks like it has had a repair at some point in time. We were very attracted to their classic simplicity with neat claw fe et when we were looking for chairs to go with the antique oak dining table we bought nearly 30 years ago. Their seats are removable for easy recovering. Which I have done twice. Any of their minor flaws ar e easily repaired- but we now live in a mid-20th century home and need to replace our Victorian with more contemporary fu rniture. This is a very nice antique Victorian pedestal style dining table base. You could also use them as 2 separate console bases. It is solid mahogany and has a fluted pedestal, it is stamped with the number 100 on the bottom. It originally had a 50" top, it measures 25" high, it is designed to have castors which would add some height, measuring across the center of any two legs it is 26 1/2" and the top brackets are 14 1/2" wide x 12" deep, the legs are 2 3/4" wide. Some of the hardware on the top is missing as you can see in the pictures. Overall it is in good condition, some scuffs, nicks and dings to the legs which you can see, no splits or cracks to the pedestal or feet and no repairs. The apron and the table legs both have raised burl panels. The table has a split base that locks and opens smoothly there is also a center leg that stays in the center when the table is extended fully. The old wheels were all replaced in the 1940s with antiqued high quality brass ones. Victorian walnut 46 inch Round dining table extends to 8 feet ca. 1865?
This table was given to my mother in 1963 in Albany NY by a friend of hers that was moving cross country. At that time she told her it was about 100 years old. It was in peices and had several coats of paint on it. She spent a whole winter stripping and restoring it. She finished it with linseed oil and every year at Christmas would rub it down. It sat in the lobby of a resort they bought in 1978 and she was made several offers over the years. She gave it to me only months before she died it was absolutely her prize possession. I need to sell it I am moving to Japan and cannot afford to ship it and I need the money. It is solid walnut no makers mark that I can find. It extends to 8 feet but no leafs, a good cabinet maker could easily replicate some. no reserve. I am guessing the weight is about 80 to 100 lbs.

Must sell- NO RESERVE This is a beautiful walnut table with graceful legs and intricate nut carvings on the legs and the skirting. It has quite a few stretchers. So I think it could expand considerably, though we have no leaves for it. We do still have the extra support legs. The casters are solid brass with wood rollers. The top is in good condition given it's age. it does have some water marks and a few black stains- see photos for detail on condition. One of the support legs has cracks due to the wood used, not from age. Note that the leg support mechanism is dovetailed, probably by hand. The table top measures 55 X 41 inches. I always thought it was mahogany, but now that it is set up the top looks like solid black walnut on the very top, but the skirt and pedestal base are figural mahogany. Overall the condition is really nice and it is a nice table. It comes with no leaves. The condition of the table is as found showing minor surface scratches here and there and one lamination seam that is there but not pulling apart. The table is in very usable condition, but we do offer a full restoration for those who would prefer it. We can make as many as 5- 12 inch wide leaves if desired and then the table would open to 9 feet long! We have a picture of a table below to show you the quality of our work. In the pics you may notice that the center leg is not in the center of the table. It will move to the center. I didn't want to force it across the uneven ground. The top may look unlevel it's only the ground. I couldn't get good pics inside. The table it very solid and level when on a good surface The condition is very good. ORIGINAL. NOT REPRODUCTION. This gorgeous table is in perfect working condition and also in good antique condition in terms of the finish. It has a few shallow scratches and minor wear on the top. Overall. It's ready to use-no projects here! Splits in middle and slides nicely apart for use of leaves. This includes one original. Matching leaf. We also had 3 leaves made so we could expand this further-this coordinate well but are not a precise match, as they were made of a regular grained modern red oak. Once again, they look nice but are not an exact match. The new leaves mesh together with biscuits so they will match the top level of the table. The older leaf uses the original peg system. Victorian Mahogany Extending Dining room table-5 leaves opens from 44' to 125"
T his antique dining table is an incredible piece. Without the leaves it is a perfect 44” oval. Seating for four people. It has 5 leaves and can be extended to 10.5 feet. Easily seating 12 people. The 4 outer legs are very solid and are ornately carved and have reeded tapering. There is also a center supporting leg. All 5 legs have casters for ease in moving. The leaves fit into place by knobs and holes which show evidence of loving use. The table also shows evidence of being over 100 years old including several surface scratches. Small nicks, general wear marks. But overall it is a stunning piece. Included is a wooden stand for the leaves as well as tailor-made pads for each leaf and the 2 ends. The pads are approximately 25 years old. Show wear and tear and some of the connecting pieces are missing. But it is the table you are buying!
