The burl walnut looks great, with a nice color and very pronounced grain that are accented by satinwood herringbone inlays. The three drawers come equipped with solid brass hardware, which compliments the walnut very nicely, and they also have dovetailed joints, which are a sign of excellent craftsmanship. The top of this writing table is inlaid with fine, green leather bordered with decorative gold tooling. The leather really makes a great writing surface, far superior to wood, glass, metal, or plastic. The middle drawer can function as a regular drawer or a drop down keyboard drawer. Antique Victorian 1/4 Sawn Oak Library Table with Impressive Legs
Table measures 30 inches high and the top is 44 by 26. Flower wood appliqué on corners. Legs are a fancy spiral that ends in an impressive scalloped ball then a smaller. Smooth ball which holds the metal caster with wood wheel. Photo with soda can for size perspective. One drawer, measures 21 inch across has a brass pull. Top, shelf and drawer face are 1/4 sawn oak. There is a slight discoloration on table top. See photo. Finish is in good condition with a rich, warm patina. We purchased this table with this finish. Perfect table for a foyer or anywhere you want to have an impressive accent table. We have enjoyed this table but have to send it to a new home, due to downsizing.

A beautifully carved antique. Circa 1890's, Renaissance Revival quartersawn oak petite library table. The front two drawers have prominent north wind type pulls, the reverse with a faux north wind. The legs are partial spiral carved, with baluster cross stretchers, the bun feet on casters. It measures 31-1/2" tall by 42" wide by 28" deep. Very good condition: original finish, carvings and case without chips or cracks. There are three top boards, one of which has a butt joint separation to the other two, and with varnish chipping along that line, some minor stains or a ring spot to the top. Drawer interiors in plain maple, the bottoms chamfered.

This is a nice quartersawn oak library table. Originally used in a home library. They are now used in many areas of the home, sometimes as a desk. Overall very good condition. I like the rather small size of this particular model. Note the pretty sculptured top, reeded legs, and carved stretcher braces. The drawer has two brass bail pulls. Antique library desk table. In good used condition. I purchased this table from an estate. I am not an expert but I believe it is Oak. It measures 49" long by 35" wide by 31.5" high. As you can see in the pictures beautiful carved detail of lions and dolphin feet. On one end by lion it needs a little sanding. On the feet the round carvings show some cracks I don't know if they are separate pieces and put together and it shows or because is cracking from age. Overall in good condition. Victorian English Oak Parquetry Writing Table. Beautiful patina& color. Rectangular top with thumb molded edge and parquetry. Working and blind drawers. Trestle base, inlaid parquetry columns, carved bun feet on brass casters. Earlier restoration to molded edge, light signs of normal use. Measures 53 1/2" long x 29 1/2" wide x 30" high.
