Couple tight surface cracks, few ligt stains, blemishes, and a light streak that I cannot determine the cause of, but overall very nice. Though I did take a closeup of a dark line you can feel, on one leg, and a closeup of the same leg on other side. As you can see, the line does not go all way through, so I do not know what it is. It is a great table dating from the 1870s to 1880s. I am confident that it has had an overcoat applied at some point in its past, but it has a warm mellow touch to the medium walnut stain finish. The table consists of walnut and mahogany. It is all hand carved with the floral arrangements on the serpentine skirts and cabriole style legs. The four legs are joined together with cross stretchers in the center with a huge center finial that is an open cup. The overall size is 36 inches long, 26 inches deep and 30 inches high. The overall condition is good and tight. There are a couple of minute chips on the marble that we will detail out prior to shipping.

for auction is a wonderful solid walnut parlor table by belter most likely. it has great carvings. for sale is a great contoured skirted pieced carved walnut marble turtle top table. near mint condition with no repairs or missing parts or pieces that i can see. there are a very few very minor scuff marks on the legs. Just small surface scratches, if they bother you, you can wipe a bit of stain over them and they are gone. at any rate, a very well heavy made table of the high victorian era, all original including the casters. it is a nice size table, being 33 inches wide, 24 inches deep, and 30 inches tall. it has a wonderful finial on top of the stretcher. may be picked up at my home or shipped at buyer's expense. i have 30 or 40 tables in my house and need to get rid of a few plus a bunch of other things. i have the house almost impassable at this point. anyway, i am starting most of the things i am listing at less than i paid years ... moreago for them. i have always tried to buy the nicest things i could afford, so you will find most of the things i have in good condition and quality. i will be listing more tables in time to come and also i have 9 bedroom sets upstairs, some of which i will be listing. i don't use any of the bedrooms and have them stacked full of all kinds of things.anyway, excuse the rambling. good luck

Very elegant and well build construction feels solid and sturdy and will support a lot of weight. Due to the cabriole leg design the table can fit in small areas because the diameter of the top is larger than the bottom which allows you to put an armchair very close ... moreto this table without creating crowdedness. The table is covered with a piece of green onyx and is pretty heavy. Item is in original unrestored condition and in very good shape considering the age. However as any antique item it shown some imperfections. Which just add a vintage charm and character and will not affect the value. The original gilding has some reticulated cracks. The wood has a few splits, some pieces of the ornate foliate design are missing. I appreciate this look and would not recommend to destroy such time marks with"restoration" The table is about 29 1/2" high and 24" in diameter at the widest point. Mahogany turtle top table. this is quite a stunning piece, very well constructed, solid as a rock, no loose joints, does not wiggle or wobble, sits evenly on the floor, and has no issues to report. its condition is near mint. it has very nice grain in the wood and is solid mahogany, no veneers. it sits on 2 sets of legs that are wonderfully connected by an ornate stretcher. it has a special feature of 3 finials at each corner of the table. i cleaned the top, sorry about the bottom and legs, i didn't realize they were so dusty. pictures do a great job of showing up any dust. it is 39.5 inches wide, 26.5 inches deep, and 29.5 inches tall. it ay be picked up at my home or shipped at the buyer's expense. thanks for looking and good luck.

for sale is a wonderful quartersawn oak parlor table. it has as good of flake as you can find in quartersawn oak. every piece in the table has an abundant showing of the quartersawn grain. the table has been refinished as it was painted green. where in the hay did they come up with those idiotic colors? other than refinishing it is all original. no missing or damaged pieces that i see. it has great carvings on the legs where they attach to the top. it has a wonderful contoured skirt with a top that is slightly recessed which gives this table extra nice form and beauty. it is really a classy table at a bargain price. i need to get rid of some stuff as i can barely get thru the house anymore. anyway. for sale a great antique walnut center or parlor table att. thomas brooks. thick. Solid, and heavy construction as expected from brooks. it has the original insert marble top and the frame around it. some call these picture frame tables. the table has great form and beauty with buttons, medallions, carvings over the entire piece. the central pedestal pegs into the top support board with 4 pegs and then is bolted. the fours legs sit on their original brass casters. the marble is cut exactly to fit in the frame only one way, if you get it switched you will mess with it for hours and won't get the frame over the marble. the frame then pegs into the skirt and that only happens one way. i will mark the pieces for the new owner so they won't have trouble getting it together. i took it apart to clean it and messed with it for over 30 minutes ... moregetting it back together, so i did not take it apart to take any pictures. i should have done that before i put it back together. anyway, should anyone want additional photos, let me know and i can take it apart if need be. it is a fairly large table and nearly round. it is 36 inches wide, 27.5 inches deep. it sits 30 inches tall. it has great burl accents on the leg panels and skirt. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at the buyer's expense. good luck.

All 4 legs fold in/out together w/ the turn of a lever. Legs lock into place. Legs have exquisite curvature. While the table is completely metal. The legs are wood wrapped on 3 sides w/ metal. This is a SOLID STURDY PIECE weighing 19# There is no maker's name on it. Castings are all marked PAT'S PEND. My husband spent MANY meticulous hours working on restoring this table(to MY satisfaction: This included HOURS of tediously removing 3 coats of OLD PAINT. Very beautiful walnut. Marble top parlor table Eastlake style with burl walnut trim. This table is in great shape. There is one little chip in the wood(picture 8) that doesn't show with the top on. The marble is in great condition for it's age, there are a few little dings or small chips and some light scratches. There is also some stain on the bottom side of the marble. This table is 31" tall and 19" x 27" wide. I could putty in the hole and touch it up if you want.

Antique oak and quarter sawn oak center/parlor/lamp table. C 1890-1915 I believe.The glass ball feet are large 3 inch diameter with a 5 inch high eagle claw with alot of bubbles in the glass balls. The table measures 29 1/4 inches high. The flat top is 22 inch square with the widest part 26 1/2 inches square.The bottom board widest part is 20 1/2 inch. Antique marble-topped parlor table, late 1800s
My great-grandfather married and settled in Houston. Texas in 1892. This was part of his original early-marriage furniture. Since he was a fairly new immigrant at the time, I would wager that this was a hand-me-down from his new wife's family(they had settled in Texas in the second third of the 1800s) I think(but cannot guarantee) that the base of the table is walnut. But it may be oak. The carving is beautiful, quite delicate for this heavy piece of marble. On several occasions I have thought about removing the wood trim on two sides, since two sides of the trim are missing. But every time I decide to do that and sand it down, the beauty of the existing trim keeps me from doing so. The table would be prettier if you are skilled enough to move one piece of the trim to the opposing side of the table, so it would be"balanced" ... moreagain. The wheels are the original porcelain ones. Never replaced. This was also a hard piece of furniture to photograph. I don't have a good camera. Just the one in my phone. It cannot handle the differences between the marble top and wood base. You will be responsible for getting the table from my house to your house. I will be happy to assist your vendor(or you personally) But I cannot lift the marble top by myself- it is too heavy. As a size note: The table stands too tall to be an end table for any but the most massive of sofas. My grandmother inherited this from her father. As long as I can remember. It has been a table for a lamp.

Exquisite Antique Rare Alexander Roux Rosewood Parlor Center Table I am selling this table for one of my clients. Up for auction is this exquisite rare Alexander Roux rosewood center table. It is circa 1860. The pedestal and skirt are solid rosewood and the table top is rosewood veneered. It originally had a marble top. I had a piece of glass made for it. There is rosewood veneer as a substrate with oak under layment that is under where the marble would be. This indicates an extremely high quality table indicative of Roux. It has acanthus leaf scrolls with a very ornate rococo base. There is a partial label on the bottom side of the table top that says"Wheeler" This name is probably of who the table was made for. It has its original casters. It has a molded ogee edge on the table top. There is a small piece of the carving missing ... moreon one of the legs. One of the legs was broken but was professionally repaired. The dimensions are: 30 1/4" tall. The table top dimensions are: 45" round. The skirt is almost 2" thick. I am honored to offer this beautiful Victorian Carved Brown Walnut Parlor Center Lamp Table with Oval White Italian Cararra Marble Top. Estimated to have been crafted around 1875. This gorgeous brown walnut table weighs about 80 pounds with the marble top and is approximately 26" deep/front to back. Approximately 35.5" wide/left to right and approximately 30" high/tall. I beleive this table to have the original finish. The detail that went into crafting this table is astonishing. This white. Grey and black veined scrolled beveled edge Italian Cararra marble oval top has it's original finish and is in excellent antique condition with natural occuring tan coloration and character marks normally expected with antique white marble. I particularly like the diagonal viening in the marble which is fairly uniform and straight for ... morea natural formed stone. This table is very similar to another table from another seller here on eBay. But the diagonal viening on this table is much more atractive than the marble viening on the other sellers table. The marble sits very flatly and securely on the detailed carved brown walnut oval shaped table frieze/apron. The table is raised on four X configured lower legs with ring turned spindles and a large ring turned center pedestal and center drop finial. Three of the four swivel casters appear to be original and one appears to be replacement with a brass swivel caster. This circa 1875 table is very well crafted with solid construction and is in excellent antique condtion with only minor wear to the original finish. The stately presence of the large Victorian Walnut Table will make an attractive addition to any room in your house. INCREDIBLE. OLD FRENCH TABLE! We are pleased to offer this lovely, somewhat rare, antique French Marquetry, Rosewood and Mahogany inlay table. This is a true demilune table with both the front and back profiles curved. The table top features a large, center inlay medallion of flowers and acanthus leaves with a smaller floral accent on each end. The top features a rosewood, with a gorgeous grain, inset in the mahogany. The top is skirted around the entire perimeter. The skirted section features detailed floral carvings on both the front and back profiled(the concave side as well as the convex side) The cabriole legs have carved acanthus accents at the mid sections as well as the feet. for auction is a somewhat usual shaped antique quartersawn oak parlor table. it has an octagon shaped top. it is constructed of the finest quartersawn oak available at the time. it has great flake in the oak. it has a neat skirt arrangement. the top is inset. Then some molding that is a bit wider, and then the skirt, gives a layered effect. the skirt has nice carving at every apex. the stretcher is octagon with 4 extensions attached that connect to the legs. the extensions have nice carvings on the tops. it is 29 inches wide at the widest diagonal of the top and 26.5 inches wide at the smallest dimension of the top. it stands 30 inches tall. great table in great shape, refinished. no defects or damage to report, bound to be a few very minor blemishes due to age, but actually none apparent. date of making, circa 1890-1900. it is very well ... moreconstructed as you may note from the pictures taken of the bottom. it is braced well and reinforced. the pictures are bad, taken at night. it is has a nice hue and great finish but the pictures did not capture that. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at buyer's expense. good luck.

19th C. Antique VICTORIAN MARBLE TOP PARLOR TABLE WITH DRAWER Herter Bros. Stand A mid 19th century walnut marble top parlor table with drawer and brass casters. There are no marks identifying the maker however. In research we have found identical tables that are paint decorated and manufactured by Herter Bros. New York and we believe this to be an example by them as well. The marble is mottled gray and white and sits on a walnut base. It stands 30-1/2” high with the marble in place and the ¾” thick marble top measures 24” x 38” The inside of the drawer measures 20” x 17-1/4” and is 2” deep. Condition: Sometime during its life it has been refinished and has had some gluing repairs. The marble has a tight 4” stress hairline and with the cut of the marble shaped as it is there are typical fine nicks found along the edges. There is one ... morechip of wood on the back of the bottom edge of the drawer but it doesn’t affect operation and can’t be seen with the drawer in place. The table in its original state is very valuable but with the refinishing and re-gluing having been done its cost is only a fraction of one in its original state. Shipping options: 1. It is a music stand or book/magazine holder. There is a top shelf and can be used as a parlor table. Carved oak wood with a gorgeous natural oak stain. Some of the grains are burled. Lovely patinas(see pics) Many Stick and Ball carved trim decorating this table. Brass fittings are used to secure the construction. Within minimal damage and scratches. In excellent condition. PICK UP Only we have gorgeous early type Eastlake style Marble top table. It shows wonderful style& character. The top of the wood table curves with the Marble top. Both pieces are a original match pair. The marble only shows very minor wear. Has the fancier beveled edge and shaped for the table. The top part of the wood base looks like Mahogany with the rest being of Walnut. Shows a small 1" long piece of trim missing on the side top- see pic. Great table for the Victorian Collector.
