This beautiful piece shows 22 floor plus five floors marked"P K R S B" all the numbers and letters are made out of brass attached to the main piece by screws and nuts. the inner circle has a magnificent metal work art cross with a base in the middle for the brass arrow which is a stunning piece by itself. A nice early Stencil Kit with 2 inch brass letters. And 2 1/4 inch numbers. The tin box measures 4 1/2 by 4 1/2 inches square, 1 inch deep, and has soldered corners and a wooden knob on the lid. The stencil brush has a wooden handle and stiff bristles. The tin ink dip tray has two compartments and lump ink. There are no manufacturer marks on any of the pieces. The number set is not complete. This brass wall letter measures about 3 5/8" tall and about 2 7/8" wide" wide at the widest point. 1/2" thick. It's a solid brass piece weighing about 8 ozs. There are three threaded holes for mounting in the back(screws not included) or it can stand on its own. It's a nice piece of brass that has weathered some has some dings and scuff marks. For my elderly-father-who-had-everything's birthday, I made up a basket of all things from 1928 for him, and he really got a kick out of it. That's what I thought of when I saw this one(actually, I bought three, all with different years, so be sure to check out my others too) It's an old address sign, with the number 1962- your birth year, perhaps? Made from solid cast brass, it's surprisingly heavy at 6 ounces for the small size of 3 7/8" by 1 1/2. Excellent condition(just a little dusty from age) the patina of the brass is dark on the face, ... moreand brighter on the relief numbers. Inside you can see that the brass is shiny, but the outer side has a dulled unpolished industrial effect that could probably polish up well if you wanted, although I have not tried this myself. I got it from a friend that had been buying out old hardware stores back in the seventies and was told it is very old. Whatever very old means. There are no markings on it.

AN ANTIQUE/VINTAGE FRENCH BRASS SHOWER COLLAR OR WAND
A rather interesting and unusual antique/vintage French shower collar or wand. Marked: Le Collier-Douche Mantelet& Fils Paris' Circa 1900. It's oval in shape and has perforations on one side only. It passes easily over the head and was/is designed to be placed around the shoulders to keep the hair dry. Quite fun and I think it would be hard to find another one. This is the sort of thing you never thought you'd need or want until you see it. And beats wearing a shower cap! It measures approx; The collar or wand is 11.5 x 9.5 inches- 29 x 24 cms. The length of the straight bit is 3 inches- 7.5 cms. The total length( including the fitting) is 5.5 inches- 14.4 cms The circumference of the collar is 1.5 inches- 4 cms. There is some light play in the'tap' and the size may not be a UK size. There are no dents or dings. It should be gleaming with a good polish.
