They sure made these items attractive. considering what they were used for! This one has all kinds of floral designs. Inside and out, with gold trim. I believe the flowers are transfers and the gold is hand painted. It measures 9 1/4" across the top and is 5 1/4" tall. On the bottom it says Made In England 5014. No maker's mark. It is in very good antique condition with no chips. Nicks, cracks or repairs. It does have all over beautiful crazing typical for its age. Light browning at the spout but not bad at all. It has a pink handle and a wide pink basket weave band around the base. It has large yellow thorny roses with pink tinting to the leaves. It has a lot of gold accents which show wear on the handle and the rim. It is numbered on the bottom. It would be a lovely shelf piece or vase. It measures 7 3/4" tall by 7" wide. Very pretty. It has beautiful all over little craze lines typical of its age but no discoloration. It has large yellow thorny roses with pink tinted leaves. It has a pink handle on the lid and 2 large pink handles on the side and a wide basket weave pink band around the bottom. This is a very large lidded jar. It measures 16" tall by 14" wide. Take a look at this really nice old chamber pot. It stands about 6" tall; 9" opening; 6 1/2" base. At first glance I thought the floral decorations were roses but my wife correct me- PEONIES. There is an intricate design band that runs around the outer top rim. It is in very good condition- no chips. Cracks, hairlines, etc. just minor paint and gold trim loss. Antique. Enamel, Chamber Pot with a Wooden Handle- Circa 1930's. Measures: 9" Tall& 9-1/2" in diameter. White with Black Trim. Pre-owned in normal vintage condition. There is no doubt as to weather or not this is an original, as it has patches of patina on the inside and outside of the base. A real piece of the past- these bed pans were kept beside or under the bed and were used especially in the winter time when it was too cold to go outside to use the outhouse. From the 1860's. A dramatically beautiful antique white ironstone chamber pot decorated with black leopard lilies. The pot is surrounded by stems of lilies with buds and an opening lily on the inside bottom. The rim and handle are covered in black leaf garland. There is embossing and a thumb rest on the handle. The lip of the pot is encircled by two ridges and a third ridge is half way down the pot. No chips or cracks whatsoever. Very little crazing is present on the bottom. A few manufacturing spots are present. There are numerous maker's marks on the bottom: ROSEUM LE&S ENGLAND, with the number 11(cut into the bottom at the base) over the number 92(embossed) and a black number 4 is present about 1.5" below the previous mark. Glazed Stoneware Chamber Pot Antique stoneware chamber pot/slop jar as they used to say in old Kentucky. The one we had when I was little was enameled metal. This one is made of the same stuff as the stoneware crocks, has a wire bale that is pretty rusty with a wooden handle. There are no chips. Cracks, breaks or repairs that I see. Stuck on the bottom of it are pieces of an old newspaper. Unfortunately I don't see a date. It needs a good cleaning. It had been sitting in a barn for quite a while. It's just mud inside. This is an antique/vintage porcelain enamelware chamber pot(or"thunder bucket" as they called them up north) With subtly ribbed sides, a wire bail handle with a wooden grip, a lid, and trimmed overall in red enamel on the handle"ears" the lid handle, and the lid and base rims. It's a beauty.if such things can be called beautiful. It was certainly necessary and practical in its day. A nice piece of nostalgia, that makes you glad to live in modern times! Unsure of maker. From the early 1930s. Has some chips; a large one on the lid. And minor ones around the rim. Minor chips around the rim of the base, as well as several larger ones. A chip on the inside of the base, and various chips on the base. It measures 11" long and 5 1/2" tall. The piece is in excellent condition with minor wear and tear due to age and use. There are some marks.
