A nice early Stencil Kit with 2 inch brass letters. And 2 1/4 inch numbers. The tin box measures 4 1/2 by 4 1/2 inches square, 1 inch deep, and has soldered corners and a wooden knob on the lid. VINTAGE TEN STEP CAST IRON SPIRAL STAIRCASE WITH WOOD TREADS. C. EARLY 20th CENTURY This beautiful spiral staircase is American and dates to the early 20th century. Or possibly earlier. It most likely came from a boat or a building where space was at a premium and access between level/floors had to be kept to a minimum. The staircase os made of cast iron and has ten steps with wood treads. In addition to the center pole, there are ten vertical supports each with a gilt metal ball finial. The staircase measures overall 85-1/2"h with a maximum diameter of 32-1/4" Each step measures 16-1/4"w with an outside depth of 9-1/4" tapering to an inside depth of 1-1/8" The piece can still be used for its originally intended purpose. Alternatively, it would make a great display piece to hold plants, collectibles or other decorative ... morepieces. Small enough to care' Here we have an authentic period Ceramic/ Porcelain/ China ceiling pendant. It consists of a professionally refurbished vintage antique china ceiling rose. Modern 3 core'silk' flex and a white lamp(bulb) holder mounted onto an hardwood pattress. This ceiling rose only supports 2 core wiring so a plastic lamp holder has been used which does not need to be earthed, the earth cable is provided for extra strength, allowing heavier shades to be hung. The ceiling rose is an original ... morereclaimed vintage item. It measures 62mm(2 2/2" in diameter and approx. 50mm(2" in height. Please note designs of ceramic roses may differ slightly, as there were many makes of these all with slightly different designs, but if you order more than one shall try to match up as best possible. The rose has been mounted on a new Hardwood Pattress that measures approx. 110mm(4 1/4" in diameter at the base. A fixing kit of wall plugs and screws will be supplied. I have lightly waxed the rose in the picture. But can supply unwaxed for you to finish yourself either with wax, stain or paint to match your colour scheme, just drop me a note with your order if you want anything other than the waxed version shown. And I am still listing items from my antique store trip as well as the farm auction sale- there’s loooots of new items this week, and something for everyone! Some times the most simple items end up being my favorites. As is the case with this pair. I have no idea what they came off of- but they were clearly part of something larger at one point in time. They are old. 2-20's-30's is my guess, and they have the BEST original shabby deco green finish(I can see what I think are some peeks of white too, so they may have been white before that) You can see that that have been cut to the size that they are- both exactly the same size of 14 15/16" long and 15/16" diameter(so, just 1/16" shy of 1" ... morewide) Wouldn't they make great towel rods for you? There's so many things that I can think that you could do with them, and you can't buy this patina new! There's lots of shabby wear to it, where you can see down to the dark rich patins of the wood. Scratches, scrapes and general wear to the wood and finish along with some nicks, dings and random teenie holes to the wood. All that being said, I wouldn't change a thing- they are gorgeous, and they are in excellent solid and sturdy condition- totally strong. Each on weighs about 1/4 lb. Love them!
