The border is grooved in pure Louis XVI style. Very nice paint patina in very Gustavian gray blue. The border fringe is original. Use as part of a French inspired decorating project. These were salvaged from an old late 1800's Iowa two story Victorian farm house that was torn down. They measure 7 feet across at the base. Approximately 4 feet tall to fit a 12/12 pitched gable. Made from 3/4" Ponderosa pine stock. Currently they are painted, I can strip them for an extra cost(but not until springtime when things warm up) I can add more pictures of the other two if need be but I have to dig them out first. Antique Carved Wood Overdoor. Pediment Animal Forms: first of all this piece was hard to photograph as it is supposed to sit under the soffit of an armoire or mantle. It can also be used as an overdoor or pediment. The hand carved piece is made of dark hardwood, possibly mahogany. The entire piece is carved and has a bat like shape in the middle and two reclining animals on either side. The piece has been around for well over 100 years and has some minor abrasions in the front and nail holes in the top and back. Measurements are: 51 1/4" by 4 3/4" highest point and 3/4" thick.

Listed for your consideration are two matching antique pediment accents. Carved of pine. They have a dark chocolate semi-glossy stain on them. The tops are carved. The bottoms are flat, with two tiny nails still in each one, for attaching to the pediment. Each measures approximately 6" L x 4" W x 3/8" D. Used. Very Good condition. No damage or repairs. Antique Dentil Molding/ Pediment Very Large- C. 1855 Architectural Salvage. The dimensions are 40 1/4" x 6 1/8" deep x 7 1/4" tall. And the blocks are 2 7/8" x 2 5/8" deep x 4 1/2" tall. This piece is very heavy. Made of solid fir and all blocks are complete and fully intact and there is no rot whatsoever. They have an aged original white painted patina and finish and these are absolutely beautiful and very rare! This is some of the best dentil molding we have ever had due to the size. The deep roof overhang and the roof always being well maintained. These were removed from a residence built in 1855 and was the very first masonry residence ever built in Dekalb county. IL. Antique Brass Eagle with Scottish Thistle on Shield Plaque / Pediment RARE
This is a very interesting and unusual brass plaque/ pediment featuring the classic patriotic bald eagle with a banner in it's beak and holding a sheaf of arrows in it's talons. What sets it apart is the shield on the Eagle's chest which is emblazoned with a Scottish thistle and a stone of some kind. The plaque is substantial and heavy and free of damage other than patina on the brass which I'll leave for the new owner. Measuring approx. 7 inches by 8 inches. ANTIQUE OAK ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE HEADER PEDIMENT LINTEL ORNATE APPLIED CARVING.
Up for your consideration we have this beautiful window pediment from a WV home. It is a salvaged item and does have some imperfections such as quite a few worm holes or nail holes. It measures about 7.5" tall. 40 3/4" long and 1.5" thick at the piece of wood that goes across the top. The piece of wood across the top has a notch taken out of it that is shown in the pictures. This is a beautiful salvage piece that has never been painted. It has ornate carved designs applied to it on each end and a wreath design in the center. One piece of the wreath tail is missing on this one and there is cracking at both ends under each applied design.
