A number of years ago. I came across these fish and gave them to a friend of mine, who of course fishes a great deal. However, over the years, his wife has grown tired of them and feels they clash with the decor? Are you kidding me? So, as you can see, they've been returned to me to sell on eBay. They will indeed be missed. Two of the fish have a chip out of their tails that show up clearly in the 3rd photo. Most likely, those chips were a result of his wife's wrath or, at best, her neglect. How could you have fish like these in your house and not take care of them? The 3 fish are each aproximately 10 1/2 inches long and the stringer measures aproximately 20 inches. Up for auction is a Northwest Coast carved and painted cedar dance stick. It is 45" L& 4" around and in very good condition. It has a very nice patina to it which gives it the appearance of being several decades old but I am not certain of the exact date. The painted red. Black, white, yellow parts are carved out in hand holding form. I understand they are used in private dance ceremonies and so there are not many of this rare artifact available. up for sale is a vintage carved cedar jewelry box with mirror measuring 10 3/4" long. 4" tall and 6" deep. it has a slight dome lid with a country house, trees and duck scene on top. the hinges are brass. the inside is in very nice condition but the mirror has lost a little bit of its glare. there is a small chip to the wood on top and a small chip to the country scene. these areas are shown with the pen in the last photos. the back of the box has some white wood discoloration that i did not try and remove. any questions please ask and thanks for looking

ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE SALISH TLINGIT 24" CARVED PAINTED CEDAR WOOD EAGLE TOTEM POLE
Presenting a primitive. Native American/First Nations, Totem Pole' It is a 19th century Pacific Coast Salish Totem. The large, cedar, Totem stands, approximately, 24" in height, with a 5 1/4" X 3 1/4" base area. The hand carved imagery on the Totem begins with an Eagle, painted in hues of blue, green, yellow and red, perched atop the head of a Bear. The brown painted, Bear, with mouth open, is holding a crying child in its clutches. Below the Bear is a green, spotted, Frog. The final figure, at the bottom of the totem, is a frightening, almost skull-like, head, with black and white, gapped, teeth, and bulging white eyeballs, set in red sockets. The rear of the piece shows the fine hand chiseling that was used to carve the Totem. The Eagle, at the top of the Totem has chipped portions on one wing and part of the Eagle's ... morehead(see photos) It appears as though someone tried to repair the left wing. There are also several light colored paint blemishes. The Totem was in this condition, when purchased by me, in 1981, at Tepper Auction Galleries, in New York City. Most of the original paint is retained on all the figures. The totem is unsigned, as was most often the case for that early time period.

Then a human holding a fish in each hand. The Thunderbird is the illustrious ancestor of many prominent human lineages and a proud, powerful and noble being in myths throughout the Northwest Coast. The human figure often represents an ancestor. This totem is 13” L and the wingspan is 11” W: The actual totem is 2 ¾” X 2 ¾” It came from the iconic N. Vancouver restaurant“Tomahawk” which is known for their massive collection and display of Northwest Coast masks. In its wood frame the clock is 14" tall and 10" wide. The bird is 4 1/4" long from tail to beak, and 2 1/2" tall from its metal legs to its back. There are two holes in the top for hanging. I don't know the age of the clock, but a note on the back mentions that new batteries were installed in 1978. The bird is in excellent condition. The clock is running and keeping time. The frame is sturdy. Which has a lightly domed top, has been nicely carved to all sides: Each edge with a scrolling foliate design within a rectangular cartouche and the lid with a large central'wheel of life' and 4 corner floral wheels within a foliate scroll design. The lid hinges open to reveal twin compartments(the divider can be removed) Please note that the lid looks a lighter colour. Five Cartimex Mexican Feathercraft framed feather art pictures. Mounted in hand carved cedar frames. The largest frame measures 17 1/4 x 9 1/4 inches. The two medium size frames both measure 12 3/8 x 6 3/8 inches. The two small frames both measure 8 3/8 x 5 1/4 inches. Birds are prominent in Aztec mythology and Mexican history. Feathercraft is an ancient art using real bird feathers. It's a slow and patient process of applying very small feathers at the head and gradually increasing in size as the bird is completed. LARGE Art Deco Carved Cedar Wood Box 3 Greecian Pictures Dove Tail Joints
This is a large antique hand carved cedar wood box with brass hardware. Notice the beautiful wood grain and intricately detailed carvings on the lid and front. This piece is footed and has three decoupage pictures that I believe may be Greece. There is some crackling as you would normally see for something of this age. Signed Carved Dimensional Cedar Painting with American Indian and Horse in Woods
This unique signed dimensional painting was created from a single piece of cedar. The darker brown ridges on the top and bottom developed as the artist carved down into the wood; the scene was painted directly onto the surface flat areas. The painting measures 15 1/2" x 11” and weighs about one pound. The initials“A.D. are painted in the lower right hand corner. It hangs by an old twisted rope that goes through the upper sides and out the top of the painting. This sculptural painting shows a Native American on his horse in the woods. His back is to the viewer. And he is looking at a smoke signal in the distance. There is a great variety of colors. Including bright orange, yellow and red in addition to the forest browns and greens. There are wear marks along the edge. Dated 2013. Bill Kilby. A very talented carver and painter, was born on April 6, 1978 in the small town of Sault Ste. Marie Ontario, Canada. His is a member of Batchewana First Nations of Ojibways. Territory located on the north west shores of Lake Superior. He later moved to British Columbia's West Coast, which influenced his art. He is specializing in traditional carved and painted native wood carvings, drum making, solid wood custom furniture design and construction as well as the crafting of high quality cedar and alder boxes. Antique Hand Carved/Painted Cedar Box "Raven Clan" Early 1900's Coastal Haida
Here I have an early 1900's hand carved and painted cedar box made from one solid piece. It was split and hollowed out. The lid is held in place by hand carved cedar pegs and hand drilled holes. One peg is broken off. The design is typical Haida Raven Clan though I make no guarantee because it is not signed, only engraved Haida on lid. The patina and oxidation on this piece cannot be faked, only time can make wood this beautiful. The colors on this are all still very vibrant. It measures 14 1/2" length x 5 1/2" width on left end 5 1/8" width on right end x 2 3/4" thick.
