Antique Victorian Iron Blacksmith-Made SHUTTER BAR With Keeper An old SHUTTER BAR-LATCH for use with wooden window shutters. It is blacksmith-made from rivetted iron. And the bar is 10 inches long. It is complete with the iron keeper which has a shaped guard- this may not be the original as it has a slightly different sized backplate, but is perfectly serviceable for use with this bar. There is nothing in the keeper to engage with the slot- it could be drilled for a pin if needed, though this is not really necessary. Vintage large shutters. They are 62" long x 24" wide each. I am selling the pair. The one does have some oil residue it looks like on the bottom area. Nice aged paint! This house I took these from was built in 1850. Selling as is because of there age. Please review all pictures before purchasing and ask any questions. The top of one does have two holes from a missing bracket. Holes are worn. They need clean up. Just dug them out of a crawl space where they have been since 1930's era. Shabby them up. They are in good antique condition. Have many more to list. They measure 62-1/2" tall x 15-3/4" wide with a depth of 1-2/8" They all have three pieces of hardware on EACH shutter. On one panel the top six louvers have come undone(please see pics) and on the same panel the brass handle is bent down. They are dusty and dirty and have been painted yellow sometime in the 70's. I was told by the owner of the house that they were handmade for each window. The house was built in the 1850's and none of the windows were exactly the same size. I not sure what year that would have been but since they are made with 1" boards I think they are pretty old. This set of shutters are mismatched one is 63" x 15" x 1" the other one is 61" x 15" x 1" They are in fair condition and have some damage or missing pieces. This is a great vintage set of 3 wooden window shutters. They are all painted a deep green color with bits of orange showing through hear and there. The all measure 11 3/4" wide. By 35 1/4" high and 1" thick. These have had green felt hot glued to the back and sawtooth hangers put on. The previous owner used it to display cards and pictures. Easy enough to take felt off but it may save you a step if you want to use it as a display. There are holes on the top, 2 on the left side and 1 on the right. These late Victorian interior window shutters were saved from a Brownstone in Albany. NY's historic Center Square. This is a complete set for one window. The top pair pair measures 42" high by 17" wide, the bottom pair measure 29" high by 17" wide. All of the louvers are fully functioning. They need to have the paint stripped, the wood is in excellent condition. These are a real gem, absolutely fantastic condition.

This is a Beautiful Set of 3. Tall" Hand Crafted 1800's Old Wooden Shutters, Real Architectural Pieces removes from home built in 1878 in the historic Central West End in St. Louis, Missouri. These shutters are handcrafted pieces made of solid wood with mortise and tendon joinery. Several layers of old paint present and chipping off(definitely helped protect the underlying wood over the years) The shutters are fixed(louvers do not move) They are each 79" x 17" 17.25" including lip) These three shutters all match and do not include hardware. Lot of 3 Tall Antique Victorian Wooden Window Shutters Architectural Salvage 96"
Up for your viewing is an awesome Lot of 3 Tall Antique Victorian Wooden Window Shutters that I purchased from an estate auction. Two of the shutters are a whopping 96" tall and one is 95" tall. All are 15-1/2" wide x 1-1/2" thick. They are solid and in great antique condition with several layers of chippy paint. Black on one side and green on the other. Two of them have some of the original hardware. I have provided several pictures to view and consider them to be as part of the description. Very Rare Fully Opening Hand Crafted 1800's Old Wooden Shutters, Real Architectural Work!Set#110 As this was made to last and Made of Solid Wooden Real Craft Work! Each Shutter Size is about 56"x 17 1/4 each. All slats open very eazy on this pair! This is a Very Nice Vintage, In Great Condition! Pictures have been taken both sides, sometimes the other side looks better! As this is Sold as per Pictures for Condition and this in the pictures is the ones you are buying! Please Note! Its winter here and have No outside water to wash off any Barn Dust this time of year, Shutters may have Old Dust on them this time of Year. Thank you for understanding!
