Very old, I purchased these at a very elderly ladies estate sale. They are painted green, original harware and louver sticks still intact and working. Please look at the pictures of these, they are nice. Both the same size, they each measure 19-1/4" long, 14-3/4" wide, 1-1/4" thick. Both louver sticks move up& down, you have to pull and turn them to work, there is 1 louver missing the little metal loop only, you can see it shut in the pictures. each have their lock shut cast iron hooks, and only 1 still has it's cast iron hinges, the other are missing. Wouldn't take to much to refinish these, as well as I can tell, they only have 1 coat of paint ... moreon them, and I just sprayed water on them to get rid of the surface dirt, they are farmfresh! Set of 6 or 3 pairs of 14 pane antique wood window shutters
Here are a great set of antique window shutters from my old Victorian home. There are 3 pairs or 6 panels of window shutters. They measure 5 ft long and 38 inches wide per pair. And they are 1.5 inches thick. They are in very good condition except the one widow pane that got water damaged at the bottom of the window, see photos) All the trim moulding is present as well. Most have their original glass panes. There are 14 panes to each window. These are true divided panes. I don't think these would be inexpensive to ship so I will just offer these for pick up, unless you are willing to pay for FedEx ground shipping and packing. Any questions. We are pleased to offer this wonderful pair of antique. Interior window shutters. The pair are of pine wood construction and feature 3 door, folding design. There are two louvered doors per shutter. The louvered doors are sectioned/divided with a top and bottom louvered section. Each shutter also has an outer paneled door. The panels are recessed and trimmed with molding. These are also divided into an upper and lower section. The shutters retain their original and ornate brass knobs and back plates. They also retain their lower locking mechanism. This is also brass and is quite ornate. When the doors are closed, this creates a shield and crown design. The upper locking mechanism is no longer present and is missing. The shutters are in good condition with expected wear and an aged condition. The louvers slide freely but not all of them stay ... moreopen and do need adjusting to correct. They are quite lovely. Pair of antique Victorian wood window shutters measure about 63" tall x 22 1/2" wide x 7/8" thick and are in as found condition. They have mortise& tenon/ pegged construction. Movable louvers and the remnants of old blue paint. Shutters are very weathered with some cracks, splits, chips to wood, imperfections from 100+ years of use. Louvers only move slightly due to layers of paint, a few louvers missing pin that attaches them to the tilt bar that moves them, frames slightly loose due to some pegs missing.

Offered for your consideration is this very nice decorative mirror made from an antique window shutter. Overall size 46 x 19 inches and the mirror portion is 28 X 15 inches. The mirror is newer. Added not long ago, but the window shutter has about 100 years if not more. No metal nails found, all wood structure. Very charming for a cottage. If you are in the area, they can be picked up from one of the antique centers in Norwalk or Stamford CT. Good condition shows some age. There is also an area shows color fading- but I believe it can be easily touched up with furniture stain. This has been pictured, I am selling it as found. I'm offering NINE PAIRS of vintage wood shutters salvaged from an antique home in Connecticut. The shutters feature a crescent or quarter moon cut out. Board and batten construction, and original hardware. Each shutter measures 56" x 15.5" x 3/4" and is p ainted a dark red with older green paint visible on the reverse side. I'm not sure of age. But I would guess first half of the 20th century. The house dated to the teens or 1920s. They appear to be older judging from the hardware and quality of construction, but I'm not an expert.
