These are cast iron with a very nice even darkened bronze colored patina with a few spots of old paint that would easily clean off. The approximate measurements taken from the attachment base are 3 7/8” long with the center to center of the screw holes being 3 3/8’ x 7/8” The grasp opening is 2 ½” or what I would classify as a small to medium hand 3 finger pull. Antique Intricate Details Cast Iron Window Sash Lift by Sargent c1880s
This window sash lift from the 1880s by Sargent was taken off a building in the Soulard area in St Louis. The Victorian design is quite pretty and elegant. It is still in good condition with light surface wear and mild rust. This is the only one that was not re-purposed in the restoration done by my uncle in the 1980s. He estimated the age of the lift from the age of the house. I found it when I was looking for something in his old tool box for him. This measures approx 3" across and 1.5" tall.
