Good solid stamp- a little dull but very presentable. Scarce with 4 margins. Condition I check all of my stamps and describe them as accurately as I can. If I make a mistake please let me know. For used stamps all are fault free unless otherwise stated and a back scan will only be given if there is a need to highlight something. Mint stamps will have a back scan provided and will be noted as being Mint No Hinge(MNH) Mint Hinged(MH) or Mint No Gum(MNG) Australian State Stamps All Australian State Stamps are between 100 and 160+ years old. Therefore the following need to be considered: 1. Centering is very erratic even for issues after 1900. For many issues prior to 1880 having the entire design within the perforated area is exceptional. 2. Some stamps were simply badly printed and paper does discolour with age therefore this does not necessarily ... moredetract from the value of the stamp. 3. Mint stamps are almost always hinged and trying to remove the hinge can be fatal for the stamp. Therefore hinged stamps will have remnants of hinge and this is normal and does not detract from the stamp's value unless they are thickly clumped. 4. Mint stamps post 1880 are likely to have gum. Stamps from between 1870 and 1880 may have gum and stamps prior to 1870 are likely not to have gum. Such stamps are all regarded as mint. Full gum. Unhinged stamps are very hard to find from any period and should be considered premium grade stamps.
