It measures 36 inches long by 24 in ches tall with the lid closed by 20 inches deep. It features a remova ble storage tray and more linens. Beddings. And clothing can be placed underne ath for conv enient additional hu ge storage. It is a wood structure trunk and frame with smooth me tal(black) and woven pattern metal riveted overlays with beautiful beading to ta ck in metals and curved and straight gorg eousl y grained wood slat s. Here's what I stated about it s condition: Metal overlay surfaces have been repainted and restored. Some scratches and scuffs marks on beautifully grained wood slats. Leather handle missing on left side. Flip up side locking latches both flip up into locking position. But only one catches to keep it lock closed and the other is missing its catch. Center locking latching closes in position but does not lock and there is no key. Interior lining shows foxing and staining and has some t ares due to great age. But smells clean with nice scent like cedar inside. Truly a rare beauty of extra large size that has great looks and craftsmanship on evident in these earlier era pieces of exceptional beauty. So you may want to grab it quick, before it is gone! Note: Not shipping overseas nor to Alaska on this one. Only to domestic United States. This true low-profile steamer is harder to come by then the taller flat lids. Materials include leather. Oak, canvas and hand pounded metals. Vintage Doll Travelers Trunk Stickers Mirror Drawers Shoes 19" x 10" Blue Metal
Up for auction is a vintage blue metal doll trunk with stickers. Mirror and 2 drawers. The case measures 19" tall and 10" wide and deep. It has stickers from Tulsa, American Airlines, Resort Airlines and Philippine Air Lines. The stickers show wear. Both drawers are there and the mirror is in nice condition with fancy edging. The hinges and corners are rusty but intact. There is a small rust spot on the bottom. It has the top handle but no key. It is lined with a circus print with some staining and wear especially on the edges. It does smell musty or"old" I have been airing it out for a few months and it is better than it was. Absolutely awesome rare antique traveler's trunk. You could search a long time and never find a better antique trunk than this one. It was made with very close attention to detail. Measures 40 1/2" x 22" x 21" One half of the top folds up to expose an area for hanging clothes with 6 various original wood clothes hangers. Including one for pants. A sliding wood bar with latch keeps clothes secured. Clothes fall behind a removable wood box with leather snap closures. A cloth curtain folds down from the top. Trunk has 4 removable clothes drawers, each with a hook that latches to a movable bar in the back, securing each drawer in place. The top drawer holds the bar in place and is locked with a key(not included) Great ingenuity went into the making of this unbelievable trunk.
