Eames Round Table by Herman Miller Aluminum Group White Top, Very Good Condition
Description You're looking at a round table by produced by the Herman Miller Company. It was aquired for a recent photo shoot. which has sucessfully concluded. Budget restrictions direct that it be released from invantory. The top is of white laminate. It measures 36 inches in diameter by 1 1/8" thick. The white laminate is in immaculate condition. It's tough to photograph this unblemished goodness. if there were a blemish I'd have something to take a picture of. From floor to top the table measures 29 inches high. The top is ringed by a rubber-like black bumper edging that is in good used condition. It has a few smudges and one small area of damage(pictured) that measures about one inch. The smudges come off with a bit of attention. I've tried to picture the worst of the blemeshes. they really don't amount to much. ... moreThe top by every indication is original to the base. Seems that one of the philistines at the shoot attached the top to some sort of platform- thus there are extraneous screw holes on the underside of the top. These holes are visible only when laying on the ground looking up at the underside of the table. The underside retains a property tag from the legend Chicago trading firm Sakura Dellsher. As that firm became insolvent in 2000. You can rest assured that clear title to this table will be passed to the buyer. The legs are in patinated undamaged condition. Let me explain: I see no dents. Gouges, brakes, cracks, etc. in the aluminum legs or the steel posts that connect the legs to the table. What is evident is fourty years or so of patina on the legs, which I am lothe to remove. If you, the buyer would like to have these legs polished, I imagine the result would be beautiful and sparkly. Should you crave the mellow hue of unrestored cast aluminum. well, that's what's being offered. All told. The condition of this table is commensurate with professional adult use during it's lifetime. Gretsch 60's Die Cast Hoops 13" top/bottom in the round
Drum Friends- Nice pair of 13" 60's Gretsch Die Cast Hoops. Both are in pretty nice condition for the age but they have some scratches from wear. One has an area whereby the chrome is slightly chipping. The Good News is they are in absolutely perfect round. These are 13" both a top and bottom. The die cast hoop is a part of the Great Gretsch sound/formula it centers the head in such a way that you get the true essence of their shells. These could be used on other brands of drums as well. They are surely worth considering.

It reminds me of needlepoint but there is no pattern so I am just not sure. The legs of the stool are wood and look like maple to me. The hardware on the legs show some rust. The stool is very sturdy and has the original wood. This was purchased from an auction quite some time ago so I am not sure of the history or age. It is about 13 1/2" across x 8 1/2" tall.

The Round Oak cylinder stoves made from 1890 to 1894 had the patent dates of July 16. 1878, December 11, 1883 and July 10 1888 cast iron. This is what I found on Google” Base is 9 ¼ across and has a swing hook and one flat side made of heavy cast iron and reads PAT' JULY 16 1878' DEC 11 1883' JULY 10 1888' Measures about 13' to the top as it leans. The bolt that runs through the center is bent and first part has a dent in it the next one is a bit damaged also. I think it can all be straightened out a new bolt should also be used. Bottom cast looks to have been painted. I got the bolt loose with no extra damage and this will be shipped dissembled in a medium flat rate box for $12.35

While that coin was fairly graded, I can easily state that this example is considerably nicer. Better detail. Better strike. Absolutely better colour and toning. It would not be out of place in a holder up to AU. A major rarity. Particularly in this condition and obviously as well as fairly, will require an offer tight to trends to own. Offered is a RARE Vintage Roll Top Butter Dish with Lions Head and Claws by F.B. Rogers 1883(the best! This wonderful butter dish has a roll back round dome. Is 5" high and has a hinge that rolls back with a handle on front. Butter Dish has 3 legs with lion's head on top and claws on bottom of each 3" leg. No inside dish but I have added a round glass dish that fits inside nicely. Silverplate is very clean, shiny and has no usage marks. Within this style of trunks are a few other names that have come about based on the positioning of the wood slates that cover the dome construction. The exact origin of these names is unknown but seem reasonable and listed below as I understand them. Barrel Stave Trunks(1860-1885) they generally date a bit earlier than most of the dome tops made and have horizontal running slats instead of vertical(end to end vs. ... moreover the top) Giving it a slightly different look. The word"stave" in this case refers to the wood slats. These trunks were mostly made from the late 1860's until about the mid 1880s when the other dome construction methods listed below became more widely used. Pedestal, some feet) c. 1825 and significantly rebuilt in the 20th Century Item# 12001078208 This is a beautiful decorative work. Crafted using old parts to lend originality and age to the table as it was crafted for a second time during the 20th Century. It features a broad solid black and gray marble top, resting over a new mahogany veneered top with pine plywood secondary woods, attaching to the head of the base with screws from beneath. The pedestal itself appears to be of the period, probably c. 1825, a wonderful gesso decorated and gilt highlighted work of art that is wrapped in a bulbous leafed palmetto formation over a ring turned base. This tenons into the triangular Lion Footed mahogany ... moreveneered base. Most of the feet are rebuilt, though after one original foot to maintain the integrity of the design. While this is not a collector quality work. This is an affordable work with significant character and age throughout. An original Gueridon of this style would be prohibitively priced, making this the perfect selection of a decorator with a budget looking for the depth of an original without the cost. Measurements: 36" wide x 29 1/4" high Condition Report: 1. Severely distressed gilt with exposed and damaged gesso on pedestal. 2. Numerous chips to marble top around the edge(all photographed in the slideshow) 3. Composed of old parts. Meaning portions of this table were originally a period Gueridon table, probably damaged significantly which led to it being overhauled: Round top is not original. Very elegant and well build construction feels solid and sturdy and will support a lot of weight. Due to the cabriole leg design the table can fit in small areas because the diameter of the top is larger than the bottom which allows you to put an armchair very close ... moreto this table without creating crowdedness. The table is covered with a piece of green onyx and is pretty heavy. Item is in original unrestored condition and in very good shape considering the age. However as any antique item it shown some imperfections. Which just add a vintage charm and character and will not affect the value. The original gilding has some reticulated cracks. The wood has a few splits, some pieces of the ornate foliate design are missing. I appreciate this look and would not recommend to destroy such time marks with"restoration" The table is about 29 1/2" high and 24" in diameter at the widest point. This is a great old interesting looking acoustic circa 1940-50. Really well made it needs bridge and strings, it has great brass tuners and is structurally sound no damage anywhere,the rest is fine and the top is flat it has a fantastic shaped sound hole. Vintage Metal Sheffield? England Roll Top Round Ladies Ashtray
This is a Vintage Ladies Ashtray. This is a metal ash tray. It could be silver plated. But there are no stamps on any part of the tray I have to show this. There have been others I have seen online similar to this made in England by Sheffield, but I cannot prove that it is the same manufacturer. It is round and has a roll top lid. The lid should roll over under the top lid. The outer measurements from rim to rim is 5 3/4 inches across. From the inner bowl rim to rim it is 3 1/2 inches across and 2 inches deep. Around the top rim is a lovely scalloped design of ribbon and bows. On the lever or tab that extends from the ashtray is a scroll design of ladies head. This ladies head is wearing a hat and she resembles a woman from the 1930's. The bottom bowl does have a scroll design. But portions have rubbed away. I believe there should be ... morea footed base or stand that the ashtray bowl sits upon. But it is missing. On the sides of the roll top there should be screws that help to make the tray flip, but I did not find those attached with this piece so they are also not included. This bottom stand might also have had the manufacturer stamp on it's base. These other items that would have made this ashtray complete are missing. But I still thought that someone may be able to put this item and these parts to some kind of good use. The ashtray is in good condition. It has seen some use. So there are a few marks inside the main bowl. The outer bowl has rub marks and some of the design has worn away. It also could use polishing. I am not familar with this type of item. Very old wooden# 2 round top shipping trunk by M.M. Secor. Est. 1861 Propritor of the great Northwestern trunk and traveling bag manufactory at Racine. WI Has all the original hardware and decals! Very cool old piece! 26 inches long 14 inches wide and 15 inches tall. It is missing handle as shown in pics and has new hinges installed by the originals also shown! Other than, completely original. Penn Antique Restoration. 31.5"x81" Antique Arched Door w/4 Raised Panels. Unusual. Antique door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Ohio. The door is made of solid, old pine and is painted on both sides. If you think that pine is a weak. Soft wood; please keep in mind that the wood milled from modern pine trees, which only grow for a few decades before they are cut down, is not the same quality as the wood that was milled by our forefathers from trees that were hundreds of years old. This door was built using the wood from mature pine trees, and exhibits the qualities of wood that has endured the test of time. As a result, it's physically harder, less susceptible to warping and twisting, and more insect and rot resistant than today's pine lumber. The door has an arched top with 4 raised panels on both sides. Quirks& ... moreConsiderations: The door originally had a 5th panel at the bottom. But I believe that it was removed to let a pet cross between rooms. We could make and add a new panel- email us for a quote. The height of the door is slightly uneven. It doesn't look like it was modified. And it just looks like that was the way it was built-possibly a custom-build door? The lock stile is a 1/4" taller than the hinge stile. Hardware: Although the photos show some hardware installed; the door doesn't come equipped with any hardware. However. We have a good selection of period hardware to outfit the door(check out our eBay store) If you would like any of the hardware holes plugged with a solid wood. Please email us for a quote. Condition: There are minor cosmetic blemishes from top to bottom. Which are normal for a 100+ year old door. We've included close up photos of the most obvious blemishes(see last photos) However, the door is quite strong, sturdy, and in good overall condition.
