European Antique Pine Armoire Wardrobe TV Cabinet cir 19th Century dovetail jts
For your consideration is an antique country pine armoire that can function as a TV cabinet. Wardrobe or general storage. As functional as it is beautiful. It is very deep and holds A LOT. Also has a big bottom drawer for more storage. I purchased it in 2001 at an antiques store on Robertson Blvd(since closed or relocated) for more than $3,000. The seller identified it as made in the 1800’s. I believe it was refurbished with some reclaimed doors and new hinges(lock does not work) I included a photo of the top of the piece to show the dovetail joints(top is dusty) This is a beautiful piece that I purchased for much much more than I’m asking. Nice real antique pine is becoming harder to find these days. The finish would look even richer if a coat of Briwax were applied(anyone can do this) In fact, experts suggest regular waxing. These photo's ... moredo not do this justice; I'll try and upload better ones. An additional note: The Blue House on Montana Avenue in Santa Monica closed yesterday, June 28, after 37 years in business. They had a very similar armoire selling for $11,500 less the sale discount(40% I think) A couple minor fixes need to be made. 1) The hinge on one of the doors needs to be reset slightly as the door is very slightly off, meaning not exactly horizontal when closed(difference is so slight, one would probably not notice on sight, only when actually closing the door) I could do this myself in minutes(but I’m lazy) 2) There are a few scratches in the wood that need to be waxed– they are shown up close in the photos. 3) The lock does not work. Something new would have to be installed if you wanted it to lock. Dimensions: Height: 74-3/4” Width: 43” Depth: 25” I do not take returns but you are welcome to come look at the piece before buying. Lovely antique wardrobe with 4 toile lined drawers inside and 2 up top. Black brown painted finish. Glass handles, and casters for easy movement. Such an attractive piece of furniture. In great condition except the bottom drawer was apparently glued back together at some point. Works fine but I didn't want to take it apart for fear I wouldn't be able to reassemble. Antique (1893 to1900-ish?) Marstall Armoire
This"breakdown" wardrobe is in great condition. We are guessing late 1800's by the style and it is either oak or walnut(most of the wood grain is very tight like walnut but some is wider like oak) As far as we know. It appears that it has the original finish and the original hardware to include skeleton key. It was made by the Marstall Furniture Co. in Henderson, KY as can be seen on the label. It is stored lovingly and out of direct sun awaiting another lover of classic American craftsmanship.

Antique wardrobe measures 80" tall x 19.5" depth x 5" wide. Ornate carvings and beautiful tiger oak(not positive) wood. It is beautiful. Center door opens to reveal the interior 6 brass hooks and 2 rods. Bottom has two pull out drawers with brass pulls and key lock plate.Disassembles into several sections for more manageable moving. There is a small section(approx. 2" of wood inside that has fallen off and the ball legs have minor scuffs. As long as I can remember, the center door is missing the turn handle but still functions and opens. I originally purchased this piece from Danish Country Antiques in Boston. MA and have been amazed at the storage it has afforded me. If you choose to use it as a closet, the pole hardware is intact for that. I have been using it with the custom shelves for maximum storage. This armoire has one recessed paneled door, one dovetailed drawer, and bun feet. The piece measures 46" wide at the widest point on the impressive crown molding, the widest point at the base measures 44" depth is 25" height is 81" Beyond its beauty, the most wonderful thing is that you can transport it very easily- I was originally able to do it in my Volvo 240 wagon! Antique Armoire / Wardrobe - Solid Walnut - VGC
Buyer will have to pick up personally in Williamsburg. VA because of bulk and weight. Measures 7'4" x 5'6" x 2' Solid walnut antique armoire. Currently configured with shelves but was originally used for hanging clothes. Includes two large drawers at bottom of piece. I have the swinging-arm walnut peg brackets that I assume were the original clothes hangers. All panels are solid walnut. I treated the armoire originally with tung oil for a soft patina. A two-foot section of crown molding on right top end came off during moving and needs to be reattached. Otherwise. The piece is solid and in very good condition. A very unique. Beautiful and historic piece of furniture. The telescopic extension bracket system was patented by John Thomas Batts(J.T. Batts) Grand Rapids. Michigan. From what I researched- the patent was registered in 1909. The hanger in this unit is stamped as patent pending. So it should have been manufactured within a couple of years of 1909. BTW- he made his fortune on hangers but branched out into furniture too. Solid brass knobs and hinges; hook and clothes hanger are original and all have a very interesting design. Antique Walnut Armoire, 7' x 52"x18",Disassemble for Easy Moving
This is a beautiful Antique Walnut Armoire that I bought in the mid 1970's from an antique dealer in Germantown. Tn. It has simple lines with a deep crown top. The wood is in very good condition. The doors are slightly warped. There is no lock, just decorative pulls. It can be disassembled for easy moving. The bonnet is top part with two side panels, two doors, a mid section between doors, panels across back that fit together, two shelves on each side of a divider with a top shelf and the base that encases two small drawers. I have done this assembly myself so it is not difficult, just tedious. The Armoire is 7' tall and measures 52" wide. It is 18" deep, making it fit on a variety of wall spaces. I painted the inside side panels and wallpapered the interior to make it brighter. It is not glued, so easy removable. Antique French? Hand Made Salesman's Sample Furniture Wardrobe Armoire W/ Drawer
Very nice antique salesman's sample wardrobe or armoire in French Country style. Piece measures 17-1/4" tall by 12-1/8" wide by 6-3/4" deep. It is quite old. No maker's marks or label on it anywhere. I think it is mahogany or walnut, very lovely deep reddish brown in color. It has one drawer, which is fully removable, drawer measures 8-1/2' wide by 4-1/4" deep by 1-7/8" tall. Doors and drawer have tiny wooden knobs, look to be original. Two shelves inside the armoire, doors have concealed hinges- pins in top and bottom of doors that are unseen from the inside or outside. Lovely cabriole legs all the way around, curved top is bent wood, quite a lovely and detailed cabinet. All looks to be hand crafted, hand made. Back is one piece of wood but does have a crack near the bottom middle of the panel and a small ... moreone near the top left corner, more noticeable from the back than the interior. There is one tiny sliver chipped off the lower right side corner, the chipped off piece is included and should be an easy fix with a dab of wood glue, the chip will be included for the buyer to repair. It does not sit quite level on all four feet, left front foot or back right foot would site better with a small felt pad applied which I will also leave to the buyer. Some very slight wavy areas to the top bent piece, more like a surface indentation or original grain imperfection, looks original. Overall, for it's age it is a beautiful piece! Would be a beautiful addition to your salesman's sample furniture collection or to your large scale doll and dollhouse collection. I accept Paypal. Payment is due within 7 days of end of auction. Antique Armoire Mahogany and Burlwood Knockdown
Beautiful mahogany and burlwood knockdown armoire. With 2 people can be assembled/disassembled in 5 minutes. Dimensions are 88" high. 19" deep and 60" wide(at top) 54" wide in body. Consists of 2 doors, 2 drawers, top, base(on wheels) center panel and 7 tongue/groove back panels. Upright pieces fit on dowels into the base and top fits on dowels into upright center panel and side pieces. Four sliding tapered brackets secure the pieces together, top and bottom on left and right. Condition is excellent with a minor nick in the wood on right side panel. Doors have locks but no key. Age of the armoire is unknown but has been in family for over 40 years and has been used mostly to store linens. It was purchased from a family from the midwest. So probably originated there. For convenience. Three removable plywood shelves are ... moreincluded but they do not match the wood of the armoire. There is no pole for hanging longer garments but there are two little metal brackets on either side that may have been intended for a pole. Interior is unfinished wood for the most part. This truly is a woodcraftsman's work of art.

This auction if for an Antique Rustic Cabinet Armoire Indian Bedroom Wardrobe India Furniture. Not 100% sure on the wood but if I had to guess I would say it is Teakwood. Originally paid $4.700 for this so $2,500 is a really good deal at nearly half price. You are more than welcome to come and take a look at it before bidding. It is located in Topanga, CA 90290. Dimensions are approximately 26" X 44" X 83" You could put a TV inside if you wanted as the inside dimensions are 28" X 32" In good condition except for it's missing a small piece of wood on the bottom left side(see photo) but we have this piece and it just needs to be glued on and you would barely notice it. Due to the size and weight of it, this is for pickup only unless you organize and pay for it to be delivered.
