I bought it from the original owner ... moreand she said it was bought as a set with six Niels Koefoed Eva teak and rosewood chairs(seen in pics# 11-12) Very similar tables were manufactured by Skovby as well. The chairs will be sold in another of my listings and I will be happy to sell them as a set. This table has one of the easiest to extend mechanisms I've seen. One person can unlatch the table and easily separate the top, exposing the leaf that is stored underneath. With an easy lift, the butterfly leaf opens and falls into place adding another 20" to the table. On the leaf are two ares that are lighter in color than the rest of the table(as seen in pics 7 and 10) The table has age appropriate wear(as seen in pics#9-10) A couple unique things about this table are the rosewood circles around the table as seen in pic#9 and the double spanner between the trestle legs. The angle they sit at th e top gives a nice feature. The table is ve ry high quality. Very well made and very heavy. The table is 4ft in diameter extending to 5ft 6'in when the centre leaf is folded up. Easily seats up to 6 or more people when extended. Very good condition. PICK UP ONLY This is an amazingly beautiful table. Not sure who the designer was but it was made for Lowes of Pasadena by Brown and Saltman. It's in very good condition but not perfect. There are a couple light glass water marks. A small ding in one corner of the table and a couple light scratches. Other than that it is perfect. I think the table had leafs for the center but I don't have them. Solid and sturdy. And the teak wood is wonderful. Measures. 6 ft in length 3 ft 4 inches wide 2 ft 5 inches high. A classic teak dining table manufactured in Denmark. This table is the quintessential Danish modern expandable dining table. It features two Dutch style extraction leaves which pull out from either end of the table allowing for eight to dine comfortably. The frame is solid wood and the legs and banding are solid teak. The leaves match well with the tabletop and the piece is in excellent vintage condition with barely any wear. The teak has a wonderful tone and has a nice mellow and even grain pattern. this is a fine quality designer dining set made in denmark and imported by selig. these chairs seem to be very rare and obscure. it is certainly comparable to wegner.Juhl,hvidt etc. the table and chairs are the same designer. they all have the indented dimple at the top of the legs. the whole set is in very good to excellent all original condition. a couple of chairs did have the back re-glued and it should be re-done. it was not done professionally. while not too bad it would make the set look better. i can send pics to you if you wish. the top is reversible and both sides are clean and good. if anyone recognizes this designer i would like to know. the dimensions are- chairs-22 wide x 21 deep x 30 1/2 high back and table is 35 1/2 square by 28 1/2 high. the chairs have a bit wider seat than average. thanks for looking.

This table is absolutely gorgeous and in excellent condition with a few light surface scratches and a little finish wear along the edges of the table. I noticed one circular watermark. It faded with furniture polish but can be seen at certain angles. The table measures 44" wide without the leaves. There are 2 10" leaves making the total size 64" x 44. Breathtaking. Danish Modern, solid teak dining table, with one leaf and four solid teak chairs. The table is stamped"Gudme Mobelfabrik A/S, Made in Denmark, and marked with the number 148, which is the model number. The table retains the original"Danish Control" sticker to the underside. Oval with the leaf inserted, round without. The table top's original finish is nearly flawless-a couple of tiny dings and scratches that can only be seen if you know where to look. The table is likely a Niels O. Moller, as its look is overwhelmingly similar to his model 136. Each chair is stamped"Made in Denmark" and retain their original beige/orange/brown woven wool upholstery, which is in marvelous condition-no wear, tears, or stains. Two of the chairs have inconsequential cracking to their undersides from decades of being ... morein a low-humidity climate, one with some additional cracking to one leg near the seat. This is a gorgeous teak mid-century dining table. The table is a vintage 1970s teak Danish modern table designed by Niels O. Moller and was made by the E. Valentinsen Company. I have done some research on this table and have found that its original retail sales prices was around $8.500. The table has beautiful woodwork, brass fittings and hinges. Fitting neatly inside the table are two leaves(18.5" each) which expands the table up to 101 inches(over 8 feet) You can insert one leaf or both. In its compact state it is 63" long 40" wide. The trestle legs have a lovely angle to them and have beautifully rounded feet. The finish is a lovely honey color with alot of depth. Overall, the table is in good condition.
