DETAILED DESCRIPTION: Here is a big lot of antique push button electrical switches and switch plates. First picture shows everything. Other pictures are close-ups for your reference. Reserve is set to 100 bucks which is what I paid to get these. All pieces will be carefully(and individually) wrapped. And securely packed for safe arrival. Buyer pays actual postage costs. These are heavy because of the amount of brass. About the Switches All the switches are used All the switches have been tested good. I tested them using a 100 watt light bulb and connecting them to 110V power- so good is actually good under load None of the switches are cracked or broken Some of the switches have small scratches and edge chips. But nothing that would effect use Most of the switches are missing screws, About the Cover Plates Most of the plates are new-old-stock ... moreSome are used None of the used plates are bent or damaged Boxes on the NOS plates were filthy and crumbling(found in old barn caked in bird droppings) I threw them away NOS plates were wrapped in wax paper inside boxes and most were clean Some of the NOS plates had their boxes opened and are tarnished Some of the NOS plates were missing the envelope with mounting screws. I assume they were pirated decades ago All are brass but one- They are thick. Heavy, high quality. I did check with a magnet they are solid brass Brass was/is coated in clear lacquer- some of what looks like tarnish in the pictures is discoloration in the old lacquer. It reacted with the wax paper wrapping over time and turned a bit dark. Up for auction we have a 10 piece assortment of vintage electrical devices! The high light of this auction are the 4 push button on/off light switches which all operate the way they should! The pull chain light socket still has what looks like an original price tag which I believe reads.51 cents. I dont think this switch was ever used. The other cool item is the long white porcelain light bulb fixture, the on/off switch is also porcelain turns but is not crisp and this piece also has a small chip which can be seen in the photos. Several of these pieces have the manufacture's name of"Arrow" marked on the pieces. I thought that someone out there in Ebay land would have a use for these antique electrical devices! Up for auction we have 4 retro antique push button wall mounted light fixtures! As you can see from the photos the switches have overlaps of being painted over the decades but for whatever reason one of the actual push buttons is not covered with paint and you can see that the insert appears to be"mother of pearl' No doubt all of the push buttons have this same design as all of these fixtures came from the same old house here in West Pa.
