It has an NE on each of its buttons and has J.I.P. molded in the porcelain body on the back. My research comes up blank as to the manufacturer. It is mounted in a solid brass plate with brass screws with delightful oxidation. I tested the switch's function and. Due to its age, is intermittent on continuity. May just need a good cleaning and greasing, but in reality, any of these antique electrical devices shouldn't be used in modern day environments since they were only rated for 10 amp loads, the code in those days. Nowadays, switches and receptacles are rated at 15 amps, minimum. Like everything from the early 1900's. It is Made in USA! In the late 1960's I removed this from a then soon-to-be demolished Logan Estate mansion along the Delaware River where Neshaminy State Park is now in Bensalem. PA. It is in the as-removed condition and has been stored in a dry, temperature controlled, non-smoking envirnoment since then. As with all of my listings. What you see in the pictures is what you will be receiving unless otherwise noted in the listing. While all of my items are now stored in a smoke-free environment. GE Rare Antique Vintage Bakelite Brown Two Hole Push Button Switch Cover Plate
This unique design plate was made by Monowatt before they were taken over by General Electric. These plates came with Brown Pan head screws. But they will also accept(recessed) flat head screws. The side pieces of these plates can be broken off at arrows to create your own Double& Triple gang combinations(hence the first"sectional" plates1) The Monowatt cardboard display package& 1 of 2 screws have been lost.

There are hairline cracks that are unnoticeable at the screw hole on many of the plug plates. very common for these old brittle plates from over tightening the screws Two of the switch plates also have a hairline crack from the screw hole to the switch hole. Rare Antique Bakelite Knob Plastic Roman Knight Bust Slider Light switch plate
This is a very nice antique"Slider" knob light switch plate. The Knights head and the entire plate are in fine shape. Works fine. Sliding his head up or down moves the light switch arm. Looks like some glue may be on the side of his nose. I think it`s Bakelite. Feels like it, has weight to it, but I can`t be sure. Top and bottom edges are about 1/4" thick and sides are maybe 1/8" = not a cheaply made piece. Needs to be cleaned. Zoom on the pictures, they are the best description. Vintage Bakelite Switch Plate Covers & Switches Antique House Accessories
You are bidding on a Lot of Vintage switch plate covers and other electrical items. They all appear to be bakelite except one of the plate covers. It is galvanized metal. Some are new still in the wax paper covering and a few have been used. One has some paint on the edges. Please look at the pictures closely to see if you can use these items.

Ivory (Bakelite?) antique switch plate, single switch/opening, c/w mtg plate

Unknown manufacturer, Antique/Vintage Face Plate, Switch Plate, single gang, mounts to old and present boxes using standard 8/32 screws you can buy at a hdwr store) Some of these plates may have screws, but most do not and I am not able to/nor want to, open all packaging to verify this. All plates stored indoors in boxes from an estate. The mounting plates may have some oxidation on them but that does not show when mounted nor does it affect performance of the plate or cover. The covers appear to be Bakelite, but I have no way of testing to verify. I do not have the switch or receptacle that would fit into this opening, but the opening measures approximately 7/16" x 5/8"high.
