Vintage ceramic mold metallic gold Christmas tree plastic red lights star 21"
Beautiful ceramic Christmas tree is from an estate sale. It is about 21" high with star and base and approximately 13" in diameter at widest portion. It has unique larger red plastic pieces inserted in the branch holes that carry pick up the light from a regular light bulb in the base. There is an on/off switch on the cord. The base is separate. The glaze is a metallic gold with hints of red. Some minor wear to surface but nothing unacceptable. There are three light holes that do not have these original large red lights. I replaced them for pictures with a cluster of small plastic red lights in the back where they do not show. These work pretty well and if you do not have a place in back to hide them. Here are 5 vintage 1953 Republic Mold Corporation made in Chicago. IL plastic bowls. Marked with 1953 on the bottom. These look to be a nice size for a bowl of cereal. The bowls measure approximately 5 3/4" across the top, 2 3/4" measuring from the raised edge on the bottom, and approximately 2 1/2" high. If you like mid century items, you will love these. Aunt Jemima Advertising Plastic Spice jar Shaker Cinnamon F&F Mold & die works
This is a vintage Promotional premium from Aunt Jemima. There was several premiums produced ranging from the very common salt and pepper shakers to the rare pieces like this one which is a spice jar. Made in red plastic by F&F Mold& Die Works the shaker comes in two pieces. The top lid seperates at Jemima's waist and the apron is decorated with the name of the spice it was intended to hold, in this case it is Cinnamon which is one of the more common shakers in the set. Bear in mind that the housewife had to collect her tokens and then purchase the rack and each spice shaker separately from each other which made it difficult for a whole set to be obtained. This shaker does have some paint loss and on her apron it looks like two small cracks in the plastic and this shows in the paint. The stopper in the inside with the shaker holes ... morehas discolored from use, the cinnamon has made it a yellowish brown color. The shaker has quite a bit of paint loss we are showing this in the photographs for your convenience as I am sure that we would miss some of the paint loss if we tried to list it all. nbsp.
