This Elegant Lamp is Hand Painted With Lovely Colorful Flowers& 2 Cherubs It is signed on the underside of the base. It measures 25" tall and is 9" wide at the base The shade and cord was replaced about 25 years ago. In order to remove the shade the socket had to be cut from the cord. But any hardware store has the same socket I removed. Vtg Capodimonte Style Italy Mark Television Light Lamp For your consideration is a lovely capodimonte style television lamp or light. The deeply colored body and finely detailed flowers are in very good condition. Most pieces of this style have some damage to the flowers and I am sure this must. Too, but I haven’t found the damage, yet. You can see pictures of 2 marks or labels. One label is on the porcelain and the other is a paper label. I asked the Italian pottery specialist. Walter del Pellegrino, about this piece on the Ebay PGP Forum. Walter has written a number of books and articles on the subject and maintains the ItalianPotteryMarks.com site. Here is his response. Paul's was an American Importer based in New Jersey. The company was begun in the late 19th century and underwent a number of changes. Including ownership. A vintage Capodimonte lamp with two cameo faces(one on each side) and a filigree brass? metal base joined at each corner with cherubs and garland wreath work. This is a large size lamp measuring approx. 40-1/2" total height. The lamp without the finial measures about 37" high. To give you an idea of size on the porcelain part the width from handle to handle is approx. 10" the cameo face portion measures approx. 8" across. Measuring the base to the top of the porcelain is 20-3/4" without the brass stem and light fixture. I am not an expert on items we sell but I will describe what I see when I look at the item so you can put that information with the photos. I took several angles of the lamp so you could get ... morea good look at all sides. It's a beauty. Make sure you see them all. This is a striking lamp that would make any decorator drool. The Capodimonte center is all open work. The cameo portraits are one on the front and a different one on the back so you can change it around to suit your decorating needs. Each of the cameo portraits have what looks like a 24K gold background. The filigree has beautiful aged patina coloring and 4 cherub angel figures. Ready to use, just pick out a shade you like and your ready to plug this lamp in. The electrical cord is clean and unfrayed, the light works when plugged in. This lamp is very sturdy and nicely weighted so it will not easily tip over on your table. This is a quality made piece ~ take a look. Condition is very good. There are NO cracks or chips in the porcelain. The metal is not broken and has a lovely patina tone. The Cherubs have NO broken fingers or missing pieces! We believe it is in very good condition aside from the dust on the flowers, small chip on the inner side of one of the lady's hands, and some small chips in the base of the lamp The figurine and base look like they are two separate parts as large capodimonte lamps were during the Mid 20th Century The underside of the base has a grey felt material that has come away from the base on one side that allowed us to photo the marks The power cord seems to be original and when plugged in and a light bulb is placed in the socket. Our research included majolica, faience and similar Mediterranean originated ceramic and Basso ceramic items. We located a similar item and examined the applied flowers closely for every detail. They were selected with great care to provide as much information in pictures as possible- from stand alone pictures to groupings to"zooming in" on various areas in the lamp. It is an electric. The base material is a white ceramic handmade compound like Basso ceramics. Found of course in Italy. Beautiful Vintage Hand Painted Capodimonte? Lamp For Repair
This is a beautiful lamp which is in working condition. It has been decorated with delicate porcelain flowers which are all hand painted. Unfortunately some of the flowers and leaves are chipped/ damaged due to handling or cleaning. Please see the pictures. It is stamped on the back and is possibly Capodimonte? It is mounted on a very decorative base with little legs, this is in good condition. It has the original shade but again this has some wear, if you look on the inside of the shade you will find a patch where the inner material has been torn. It looks thin on the outside which shows in the picture. I am hoping that someone who has a little know how can repair this, as it is a lovely item. I do not know how old it is.

This listing is for an Italian Victorian Figural Style lamp. The lamp measures 9 1/2" long x 9 1/2" wide x 24" tall(from bottom to socket) The porcelain section of the lamp measures 9 1/2" long x 7 1/2" wide x 16" tall. The figural reminds me of a Capodimonte. Some of the paint has started to chip off on the finger tips. I do not see any cracks. Chips, or repairs, but there is crazing in different part of the figural. I have wiped down the lamp but it could use a more detailed cleaning. This lamp is marked"Italy, 0693, and the name of the artist/company but I cannot make out the name. This lamp does not work. This lamp is absolutely beautiful and in very nice condition. This is a large lamp consisting of three separate pieces. It includes a large base. The four figures that comprises as the main section of the lamp and third the decorative lamp shade. This is the ultimate lamp for a Victorian, Colonel, or even an Art Deco room in your home. Do you or a member of you family play or listen to classical ... moremusical instruments, if so, it would be a great lamp for the one of a kind music room. The base section measures approximately 17" wide by 5" high and 11" deep. The center or 4 figure main section of the lamp measures approximately 15" wide by 18" high and 10" deep. And finally the lamp shade that measures approximately 22" round an 17" high. It total the lamp measures approximately 43" high including the finial that holds the lamp shade. Please look at the photos provided and judge the condition for yourself. Also. Please look carefully at the maker's mark on the bottom of the base and the lamp. We can not make out what it says except for Made in Italy. It does not appear to say capodimonte. But it is our understanding the they used a few porcelin lamp manufacturers to produce their lamps due to the high demand. This is a very ornate lamp with much detail and lots of gold paint. The 3 figures are composed of one figure holding a large bass or cello type instrument. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Somewhat rare design, Capodimonte lamp. The lamp is petite in size and features an acanthus leaf, footed base with gilt, hexagon tile pattern. A STUNNING, ornate vase sits on the base(it is part of the base, not a separate piece) The vase features 3 cherub/putti; one on the front face, two on each side. The figures panels are framed in a gold gilt border with gilt acanthus leaf at the tops. The center, front panel is taller than the sides and features a gilt, shell topper. There are two rounded/curved sections that separate the front panel from the sides. These are adorned with gilt scrolls that cascade down each side. The vase is open and deep inside to house greenery. The light house section sits behind the vase. THIS IS A ONE OF A KIND LAMP.We are pleased to offer this EXCEPTIONAL. RARE, FANTASTIC Mid Century floor lamp. Judging by the electrical cord, the lamp dates to the 1960s. It is a TOWERING AND IMPRESSIVE 74" tall with the shade harp attached. The lamp is not visibly marked, but this one is special. The lamp(porcelain section)is probably Italian made and is quite reminiscent of Fantoni and Fornasetti in style and Raymor in design. The lamp consists of a large porcelain base with dimensional(raised) hand painted characters. These dancing characters consist of two court jesters dancing with a royal court lady who is wearing a Marie Antoinette or Mardi Gras masquerade eye mask. The lamp body/column consists of 7 porcelain cylinders that stack on top of each other(they are not attached to each other) Each of these cylinders have a two sided, ... morehand painted design. The fronts of the tiles feature a large, raised, dimensional and hand painted character. They alternate with a differently dressed court jester and a royal court lady. There are 4"royal court lady" cylinders and 3 court jester cylinders. Three of the four ladies are masked. The bottom lady is unmasked. The jesters are all differently costumed. Again, the characters are all dimensional, raised and hand painted. THEY ARE EXQUISITE. Because the porcelain cylinders sit freely upon each other, the lamp body has a bamboo cane or"faux bamboo" appearance. This is a very clever and purposeful design. The backs of each tile is hand painted as well. Each one depicts a different scene. There are 3 paintings(separate porcelain cylinders) of ships on waterways(I think it is Venice) There are 4 cylinders of whimsically painted Italian villas and landscapes of villas behind the canal waterways. Hello. You are viewing my auction for an Antique Capodimonte Italian Figural Table Lamp. This lamp depicts a Victorian Man holding binoculars in his hand. He is wearing a long coat with a top hat. This lamp has all the look of a Capodimonte lamp however I refuse to open up the bottom to verify if it is. The colors and features of this lamp are superb. The lamp measures 26 and 1/4" tall up to the top of the light socket. It is 11" wide by 11" deep. It weigh 9.4 pounds. The thumb on the man's left hand is broken off. I do not have the thumb. There are no other breaks or repairs present. The light itself does not work. I tried plugging it in with a new bulb and it didn't work. There is some wear on this item and some dirt present. Vintage Made in Capodimonte Italy Beautifully painted porcelain & gold gilt lamp
Antique or Vintage Capodimonte lamp. Hand painted porcelain and gilt with beautiful gold trims and embellishments. There are no cracks, chips,or damage in the porcelain! Notice the dolphin signature feet used in so many works of Italian art. This piece is reticulated and has new cord and fixture. The shade needs to be replaced by new owner. It is hallmarked inside the base(Capodimonte Italy in green) I could not get a picture of this,didn't want to take the lamp apart to do it. This was my Grandmother's lamp and I always remember her having it when visiting her as a young kid and I am 54 now, so I know it is at least vintage! I call this handpainted because of the imperfections on it which had to be made by brush strokes,not machines. The gold reflects a lot better than what it looks like in the pics. Capodimonte - Mojolica Diamond Weave Embossed Figural Table Lamp
Vintage/Antique Italian Capodimonte porcelain table lamp trimmed with 24K gold and painted with bright vibrant colors. The lamp features a hollowed diamond weave pattern with two embossed hand painted fresco scenes each appearing on opposite sides of the lamp. The lamp sits on a large filagree brass base with four dolphin feet. The brass on the base and stem of the lamp were hand painted white by capodimonte artisians using a technique which gives the brass a unique weathered appearance. In excellent condition with no chips cracks or repairs. Note: Lamp shade is NOT included.

Great 1930's Capodimonte Porcelain Lamp Brass Dolphin Base This is a very nice old Capodimonte lamp from my own collection. It is sometimes called the B363 style and was probably one of Capodimonte's most popular lamps in the 1930's. This lamp works. Has what is probably the original wiring. The lamp has the original brass base with dolphin feet and is about 18" tall from the bottom of the base to the top of the bulb fixture. There is a little bit of wear to the gold paint near the very bottom of the porcelain base. Otherwise no cracks chips or other damage. The porcelain portion is about 12" from top to bottom. Capodimonte didn't mark all of their old pieces but this one is marked in gold hand done paint on the inner underside.you have to look for it carefully. This lamp is about 75 years old give or take. I have ... morestudied Capodimonte for a long time and have been to Capodimonte in the north of Naples. Their craftsmanship on these old lamps was great. This is an exquisite pair of Capodimonte Lamps. They came out of a wonderful Estate Sale. The lamps are roughly 33.75" to the tip of finial and 20.75 to the bulb socket. I thoroughly checked the lamps over when I purchased them. I did not find a blemish on them. And then when I got them home I found a few nips. The one on the right has a pedal missing on the high rose. It is off of the bottom right of the rose. I had to search long and hard to see it. The same lamp has a leaf in the center top broken also. I would never see this if I didn't search for it. The left lamp has a crack line to the left of the bouquet. It is very hard to see also. Light wear to gold finish. There is a chip near the bottom fitter ring and a small knick in the green finish on the top as shown. No other chips. Cracks, breaks, repairs noted. Capodimonte Lamp with Lady Holding A Baskets of Flowers Lamp has a certificate of authenticity and the original sale tag from the lamp distributor that is still on business. The power cord seems to be original and when plugged in and a light bulb is placed in the socket. It lights up as it should- Light bulb NOT INCLUDED The figurine measures approximately 13 1/2" in height. Lamp is 7" wide across the base. Base is 2" high. The total height from base to top of the harp is 29 1/2. Missing the fabric in the bottom of the lamp base and that is why i was able to take a picture if the Capodimonte"mark"
