SHIPS WHEEL AUTHENTIC REAL SHIPS WHEEL WITH MOUNTING PLATE NOT A COPY 47cm
This is a genuine salvaged ships wheel. Made from hardwood. Either teak or oak at a guess. The wheel is very solid. The hub is made from brass( i think, hard to tell without scraping the varnish away) and the wheel is banded both front and back again in brass. There is no shrinking of the timber so all of the joints are very sturdy, no rattles, creaks or gaps. The mounting plate is still attached together with the barrel to attach stearing lines to. This could all be removed if you just want to hang it on the wall. The width is 47cm tip of spoke to tip of spoke. the diameter of the wheel is 32cm external.

Vintage Authentic Looking Copy Of An Antique Ansonia Triumph Side Mirror Clock !
This listing is for a nice. Older copy of an Ansonia type mirror sided clock with cherub finials, which has much detail, and styling! The face has the words made in Korea written in small letters bottom center, I don't know if the case and other parts are also, or not, but may be. I put it on my dryer to dust and clean it, and wound it a bit and started the pendulum, and turned the hands to the 11:00 position. It struck beautifully, 11 times. the clock ran for around 7 or 8 minutes, then seemed to lose momentum, regarding the swing of the pendulum, like it slowed down too much to continue running. So, it is being sold as is, regarding whether it will run or not. The big springs appear to be in great shape, not broken, or unwound, etc. this is most likely a MINOR ISSUE, and may only be a leveling or an adjustment to the depth of the pendulum ... moreon it's hanger, something like that. i know a clock person will be able to fix it, my guess is fairly simply and inexpensively. There is a faint crack or scratch, bottom left base area, which i have a close-up photo of. It blends and is not anything I would even try to fix, the color isn't even affected by it. Other than that, just a few minors scuffs and dings, which can easily be touched up with something like a brown permanent laundry marker or something similar.Study the photos closely, and you should see everything you will need to, regarding color, finish and condition. This is pretty heavy for it's size, and it may be mahogany or dark cherry, or some combination, or may be just colored and finished to look like one of those woods. It has a pleasant overall appearance, style and proportions. It can be sat on a mantel or shelf, BUT is also made with a hanger and the wall protectors of four sides of the back to keep it steady and level, and a bit away from the wall. I have here a nice old authentic copy of the Constitution and other pertinent documents- I took many photo's of the case so you can date the documents more easily. The 6th photo shows the delamination of the front piece- but the case was built so well back then that it goes right back into place very well. I am not sure of it value but I can see at some point it was at auction- and to me it looks like it would have been something a Congressman, Senator or Representitive or someone involved with the government many years ago would have been given by the Government- that is my hunch- you probably know better than me.
