New Page 1 For sale is this exceptional Aesthetic Movement cherry wood server. Really a rare and outstanding item! I love the special design elements such as the asymmetrical top and the Art Nouveau influences in the carvings of tulips and leaves. The spiral tops remind me a bit of Gaudi. As they are quite whimsical. It is rather large, measuring approx. 76" h x 42" w x 21 1/2" d. I believe the glass has been replaced, but this is how I purchased the item. I never sell such large pieces of furniture over ebay, as the shipping is so expensive. However, this rare piece warrants the extra money on shipping. 1800's Solid Cherry Marble Top and Backsplash Buffet, Server, Washstand
You are bidding on a beautiful solid cherry very unique piece of furniture. I have been using it in my foyer for years but it could be used for a sofa type piece behind a sofa that didn't sit against a wall. It would make a nice buffet or server in a kitchen or dining room. It would be great used as a vanity in a bedroom or bath but it would be absolutely georgous with a sink mounted either in it or one of those kind where the bowl sits on top of the cabinet. It would be great. If it would fit in my bathroom I wouldn't be selling it but unfortunately my bathrooms are all way to small. Please pay close attention to the photos. They are self explanatory. There are two deep drawers that will hold lots of stuff with beautiful brass handles. The drawers are made of solid oak so they will be extra sturdy. Offered for sale is a Beautiful French Cherry Antique Server/Buffet/Sideboard. This sideboard features beautifully hand-carved details. Four dove-tailed drawers and four doors each with 2 adjustable shelves and scroll feet. The hardware is solid brass and the cherry grain is gorgeous. The drawers include mahogany and ash wood. This sideboard measures 41" high x 87 1/2" wide x 21" deep. The cabinet has locks, but we do not have the key. The sideboard is in excellent overall condition with light scratches on the top surface(see pics#5, 6) It appears a prior owner sanded the top very smooth but did not refinish the top with varnish. The back of the sideboard does not have any manufacturer's signature. Leopold Stickley Table Original 1954 Solid Cherry Server Cart with Butler Tray
You are looking at a vintage solid cherry serving table by Leopold Stickley. This is such a fabulous piece and so useful. The table expands and the tray fits in the middle which is great for hosting large parties. Yet it can be closed up when not in use. Plus, it is on wheels and is easy to move around when serving a buffet style meal. The top closed measures 40" x 21" It is 28-1/4" tall. It is in very good condition, but there are some scratches on the top which I have add to the pictures. You can see in the one picture of the complete table top the scratches do not show, but the close up they do. I have not tried to cover them. I will let the lucky new owner of this table fix the marks. I will also be adding a table that folds down and a coffee table that has the serving tray and storage the same as this piece. Exquisite antique French Provincial style buffet or sideboard made from beautifully grained cherry wood. This piece has many hallmarks of high quality construction. Including panelled sides and dovetail joints in the three drawers. Full length door hinges and ornate metal drawer pulls accent the front opf the piece as well as a simple floral carving on the valanced skirt. Three drawers and a generously sized lower cabinet make this a practical storage piece as well. The sideboard most liekly dates from around the 1840's. Overall. Up for your consideration is a deep. Cherry-red, lidded casserole dish with metal server. The server is gold colored and has cut outs in the shape of cat-of-nine tails. This server features a flip top serving surface with black melamine plastic and one adjustable shelf behind the doors. The single drawer has a pacific cloth drawer lining for silver protection. It is finished on all sides and has casters for easy mobility. The server is item#11-6237 and can be found on page#361 in the 80th edition of the Ethan Allen Treasury of American Traditional Interiors. Ethan Allen describes their Georgian Court line as having. The finish has been waxed and polished and needs only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth to maintain its glowing luster. Drawers and the upper gallery have hand cut dovetail joints on this classic. Clean lined Yankee furniture.
