Up for auction is this Beautiful Porcelain Gold& White Leaf Shaped Beaded Center Plate- Mold 21. Mold number 21 imprinted on the bottom. I don't recognize the marking on the bottom. If you know what it is. Could you please let me know. This plate is absolutely GORGEOUS. And it is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is a spot on the back, and it looks like it was an imperfection when this plate was made(see photo 12) It is much prettier in person than taken by a picture(s) The plate measures 11 inches in diameter from widest point edge to edge. This auction is for a beautiful antique glass beaded trim with a larger faceted bead between each oblong section. The tiny beads are sewn onto a leather/cotton-like base. This is in wonderful condition for its age and has minimal flaws. This is a delicate trim with a lovely glittery effect and a great patination. It is being sold"As Is" It measures approximately 21" x 1/2" faceted silver beads are about 3/16" Please note: although the beadwork may have the appearance of being metal. It is actually"fumed" glass beading. The larger beads which have a silver metallic finish show some wear.it is still a great trim. Fuming is a process that changes glass colors while its being heated" It also adds sparkle to the beading. When I crushed this with pliers. It looked like a pile of tiny glittery glass.

The silk bodice top is banal and has armpit stains. Not worth mentioning. SKIRT Descriptions: Pics 5.6,7,8 show the dress inside out. Lilly of the valley and other floral motif decorate this beautiful lace. Lace flounce is hemmed attached to liquid satin silk trim with tiny pearls. A few pearls are missing( pic 4.7) French Alencon lace is beaded with transparent glass tiny beads all over. Beads give skirt a glossy discrete look that I cant' capture on photos. The waist unstretched is 24 inches but will easily stretch to 30 inches. The hips will stretch from 28 inches but easily stretch to 34 inches. The dress is 45 inches long. From the underarm to the end of the sleeve is 16 inches. There is one area of the skirt where there are some smalll holes as shown on the third picture.The holes are between the second and third layers of fringe. This group of holes total 3/4 of an inch by 1 inch. There are some very small pinholes on the skirt of the dress. There is a zipper with a hook in the back. This is the incredibly hard to find RARE Imperial Candlewick Flared Vase. It was part of my former Mother-In-Law’s estate and came with her entire 1500 piece Candlewick collection. She was one of the founding members of the Imperial Museum in Bellaire. Ohio. We have been downsizing her massive collection over the past 10 years because of space concerns. We no longer have the room to store it all! It also needs to be seen– not stored on a shelf. She only collected the very best pieces and would frequently go on Candlewick shopping sprees with her good friend and fellow collector Mary Wetzel-Tomalka in Indiana and Ohio.
