Small leather-bound brass coin bank. Made to resemble a book. It measures 3.6" by 4.8" and is 1" thick. The front of the book is marked"North Adams National Bank" and on the side it is stamped"Banker's Utilities Co. San Francisco U.S.A. and"Patented July 3, 1923" The leather binding is somewhat worn but the bank is fully functional. It comes with the original key, which opens it up. this is a stunning antique victorian brass and velvet photo album from late mid to late 1800's it has beautiful detailing with a nice ornate spring loaded brass clasp that works great. the front covers sides are wrapped in embossed floral brass pieces. Antique Victorian Brass Book Chain Bib Necklace
Almost everything I know about this necklace I learned on Ebay. The brass I did recognize because it is mostly green. I’m not sure if the beads are glass or maybe celluloid. They are too old to be plastic. Note there is one of the large round beads that is broken(photo? and shows that they are hollow, so perhaps one of you expert could let me know. The necklace 15 inches from clasp to hook and other than the tarnish and the one broken bead seems to be in good condition for its age. Here is a sweetheart antique Paris souvenir book locket with landmark/monument photos. It is brass and measures 1" x 5/8" Opens with a hook clasp on a hinge. And latches to close again. Inside is a brass box/sleeve with folded photos. the box/sleeve is slightly warped, but still fits inside locket. There is a hole atop locket to fit a jump-ring for hanging, there is no jump-ring attached. The outside of locket has some tarnish and discoloration, the front side has a more red tint. I did not attempt to clean the brass with any chemical solutions. We ship international and combine.

Delightful Antique Miniature Koran with Original Brass Book Box
Here on offer is a delightful antique miniature Koran with its original brass book box. This wonderful little book has burgundy leatherette covers containing pages with Arabic script. I am told that it is the Koran. But I cannot be certain. Some of the pages are loose. The book is housed in an embossed hinged book shaped gilt brass box. The lid has a design that is similar to those found on Turkish carpets. The back has a mosque. There would once have been a bale to connect the box to a chain to wear around the neck or to connect it to a watch chain. There is also a letter that is had written in German and I cannot decipher it but would be a wonderful project for the new owner. It is on thin paper and the writing is very faded. Would be really neat to find out what it says. The pages have yellowed and they are all still affixed to the binding, also some spotting(which I think is called foxing) Please note that the back few pages are creased and have a small hole which is pictured from the clasp not being closed properly. ANTIQUE WALNUT WOOD DOUGH BOARD WITH BRASS FRAME When found this old board was being used a a bread/dough board. However. When originally made by the W. O. Hickok Company of Harrisburg. PA, it was most likely for use in the Hand Bookbinding process. It was found in an estate in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia where it had most recently been used as stated above. It has a beautiful old worn patina and measures 24-1/4" long x 16-1/4" wide and features a solid brass frame inscribed W. O. Hickok. Harrisburg, PA on all four sides. Someone added a hole at one end for easy wall storage. The board remains in very good condition. It does show normal wear for an old well-used pastry board including a few shallow holes or dents. They have nice details. I did only a little surface cleaning and they came great! The condition is very good, i would say only minor stress lines at about middle side on both but still very solid(could be manufacturing miss) They are 5 1/2" tall by 5 1/2" large.
