A Danish Modern 8 Drawer Dresser by Drexel in the Declaration pattern in very good used condition stamped 8/59(54 years old! Solid walnut. It has a few nicks. Bumps discolorations from use but for its age it is in wonderful condition. I have photographed blemishes( the nick in the wood is on the right hand side on the back edge of cabinet) Kip Stewart design. This dresser came out of an estate along with a pair of night stands and desk all walnut Drexel Declaration pattern. Please see here: Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Concise provenance. As we purchased this 8-drawer dresser along with the entire matching bedroom set from the original owners, and I have included a photograph of the original bill of sale from Contemporary Furniture, Inc. Betty Lou Custer, a Dealer whom represented Paul McCobb, Harvey Probber, Sligh, Widdicomb& Baker as the bottom of the invoice reads. We will include a Xerox copy of this original bill of sale to the Buyer at time of shipment. Condition: Structurally sound. Light scratch below lowest right drawer. VINTAGE 1950's Madmen 8-Drawer Dresser - Good and Sturdy
This is a stunning piece of craftsmanship. It is a beautifully designed and crafted vintage 1950's dresser. It has the most amazing style and drawer detail. It has 8 drawers. The top two left and right have 4 dividers for 5 compartments. Perfect for ties, socks, and the like. Then the next 2 drawers are narrow without partitions, then the 3rd level of drawers has one partition, so it has one divided compartment. Drawers are dovetailed and solid wood. I don't think the fronts are veneer. I'm 98% sure this is oak. It's super heavy and sturdy. Dimensions are 58" wide, 20" deep, 34" high. It has beautiful angles for the feet. The right side of the dresser might need to be glued. The panels are separating due to the cold storage it was in. I bought this at an estate sale and think once it gets into a normal room ... moretemperature it would be fine and wood will swell back, especially if a bit of wood glue were added. It doesn't affect the functionality of this piece. The top has pictures of what condition it is in, it's not flawless like the front of the drawers.
