Vintage DRINKING FOUNTAIN Halsey Taylor,Antique Water Fountain, Wall Mount
This is an exceptional vintage Halsey Taylor china water fountain/ drinking fountain. Wall mount style. I obtained this in times past to eventually use at my shop- but I need to sell it. The plumbing parts are solid brass. I had this buffed out bright and it looks fantastic. The china bowl and mount has no chips or cracks, and no stains in the bowl itself. Some staining where it bolts to the wall and where the plumbing contacts the china. Brass is marked"Taylor" and has patent number. It is untested with water. It will need usual rubber gaskets and pipe joint compound on threads prior to plumbing it in. Knob feels good when turning, it springs back and forth. Will need a rubber washer where the knob/ valve unit screws in. I am including 2 different rubber faucet washers for the valve with it along with the original one- not sure ... morewhich one it needs(see photo) I am confident it will perform fine and is a beautiful, classic vintage specimen. It is about 30 inches tall. This is a very attractive in tact Cast Iron Drinking Water Fountain probably from the 1920s. I was told this once was at the Euclid Beach Amusement Park just East of Cleveland. Ohio.but now the Euclid Beach people cannot confirm it.but I had an old timer look at it and said that one just like it was in his public grade school. I do remember seeing drinking fountains like this in some of the old movies. If anyone can tell me more about this piece- I would really appreciate it. This is a larger fountain at 13.5" long 9" high and 7.5" across. Porcelain is in excellent condition, no chips cracks or crazing. Water spigot is present and has some age patina,and needs to be tightened. Momentary faucet works properly, but may need new seals? As it has not been tested, and has been setting for some time. Vintage water bubbler. Made by the STANDARD SANITARY MFG'ER COMPANY, LOUISVILLE. the company was founded in 1875 and in 1929 was the largest producer of plumbing supplies in the world. This particular bubbler was located on the grounds at a courthouse setting around the turn of the century. The bubbler is heavy cast iron, with the name of the company cast in the underside. Also, I love the working where it was made, MADE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" There's no mistaken that one. It's in superb original condition. IT has the two chick wing wall supports that are usually missing or broken. Everything is present and in excellent condition for a usable hookup/ I think the white center bubbler portion might be porcelain.I'm not sure. I just temporarily hung the bubbler on an old shop door to show how it will go together ... morefor the successful bidder. The main bowl is about 11-1/2" in diameter 3.75" deep. No chips, cracks, or repairs to this bubbler. The wall brackets extend out 10 inches. however, the water bowl will be out another 4" because of the mounting scheme. Vintage Puro Filter of Illinois Porcelain Drinking Water Fountain Sink Reclaimed
VINTAGE ART DECO STYLED WALL MOUNTED PORCELAIN WATER DRINKING FOUNTAIN/ SINK WITH PUSH-BUTTON FAUCET AND ATTACHED FITTINGS, DISTRIBUTED BY PURO FILTERED WATER CORP OF ILLINOIS, CHICAGO. ILLINOIS USA This beautiful piece was recently reclaimed from a 100 year old West side Chicago warehouse that was demolished in fall of 2013. That was once located near Western and Chicago Avenues. The building sat vacant for over 10 years and this was removed from their kitchen/ locker room. I correctly believe this fountain/ sink was originally distributed by Puro Filter Corp. Hence the label on the top, and came with an inline filter. When found, it was directly attached to water lines with no filter. It is in great original. As-found condition. There are no major issues, no chips, no cracks. Does show light wear, such as over paint on the sides from someone ... morepainting the wall, and tarnish and calcium build up on the drain and faucet. Faucet is a push button style. It has NOT been tested. There is tarnish in the faucet, so if you choose to use it, you will have to correctly sanitize it or replace with your own faucet. Comes with the as-pictured and attached original fittings. Overall it measures 11" wide x 11-1/2" deep x 5" tall. There are 3 mounting holes on the back to mount to a wall. Only mark I can find besides the Puro label is a stamp in the back that reads 146. A fantastic. Original period piece! Would be perfect to mount somewhere in your vintage home to match décor and style, your man-cave, garage, basement, outside backyard deck area, or your place of business such as a bar, restaurant, or night club! Vintage porcelain drinking fountain with wall-mount flange. Porcelain shows a few scuffs& scratches. Bowl is marked Standard. Twist knob is chrome and moves as it should. All chrome has some patina and buyer may choose to polish. Equipped with an early valve marked"Trenjer" Pat'd Oct. 5-15. The flange has three holes for mounting. The drain appears to have been cut with a saw, slightly unlevel. This was given to me and is untested. It may hook up and work immediately or it may need work, I do not know. Vintage - PORCELAIN Outdoor BUBBLER - Water Drinking Fountain - Central Fixture
Up until a week ago. This Bubbler has sat safely in our yard as a yard ornament for the past 18 years. When we decided to sell it and move it. It got damaged on the rim of the fountain.and YES- my heart cried: I have the pieces from the chipped area- should you need or want them. The fountain is stained in areas and the chrome finish in peeling on the water portion. There is also a n area on the bottom where the porcelain is missing. That was like it when we purchased it. The fountain(or BUBBLER as we called them in Milwaukee) is from the Milwaukee area, and it is marked CENTRAL on the handle. Overall- it stands 34-1/2" tall.30" tall to the rim of the bowl. It is 12" wide at the top bowl portion. And 16" wide at the base. We used to have it hooked up to a garden hose and used it as a working fountain. When we hooked it ... moreup after moving it. Water did not flow thru to the head. I am sure that since it sat unused for more than half of the 18 years, the pipes have probably become clogged with dirt or spider webs and they need to be flushed clean. Seeing as how it is so heavy and difficult to handle. And how we already damaged it just moving it, I will leave the cleaning up to the new owner. VERY RARE Charming 1950's Porcelain Pedestal Drinking Fountain Water Bubbler
This is an antique Kohler pedestal drinking fountain. The reason the handle looks crooked is because it's not really attached to the porcelain. I just stuck it in there for the photographs. The entire unit is octagonal. Model number K5314 Manufactured April 29. 1959 Serial number 818615 55.6 pounds. 32" tall to top of the bowl. 35.75" to top of the spout. Both the the bowl and the base are approximately 14" across. Point to point. And 13" across flat to flat. This would be a great addition to a 50's-style business, or a great conversation piece for home or garden. I have no doubt that you could get this thing working, but I can't guarantee it. VINTAGE DRINKING FAUCET I could not find a name on this. Porcelain ball measures 3 inches in diameter and stands 3 1/2 inches tall. From the drain to top measures 6 1/2 inches and about 5 inches wide with paddle. I left the entire plumbing hooked up to broken porcelain base. Up for sale here is a vintage Crane Thurstend Porcelain Drinking fountain for a church or school. This sink overall is in great condition. It is used and does have some minor wear hear and there. Some spots where the white has worn but overall in great shape as you can see from the pictures. It has no cracks in either the cast iron mount or the porcelain sink itself. This is a wall mount design and I believe it to be from the mid century. If you are into this old stuff then dont let this baby escape you. This is a buy it now listing. So no waiting for an auction to end. The rough dimensions on the drinking fountain are as follows. Outside dimensions are 7.25" W x 10" L x 4.25" D to where the actual down drain pipe inserts. The threads in the cast iron arm look very good. This sink requires a 1/2" galvanized to hook up into it. I have not tested it out but was told it was pulled from a school and works fine. Vintage Marvel Copper and Brass Water Drinking Fountain
Up for auction is this Vintage brass and copper drinking fountain. Like most of my items this is a fresh estate find. The thing I find the most interesting is its small size. In total it measures 8 inches high. The copper drainage bowl itself only measures 4 1/2 inches across and about 2 1/2 inches high. Dont expect this item to be in mint condition, but to me it has a really good used look with several small dents and dings from being used. This is a rare vintage push button drinking fountain valve. It measures 4-1/2" tall. It is made of chrome plated brass. I'm not sure what the white push button is made of but appears to be ceramic or porcelain. It has some typical nicks. Scratches, and wrench marks but still shows very nice. The female threads are perfect with no flaws at all. It has a built in regulator to adjust the water flow. The push button moves smooth. It's in great shape with no missing parts. We never hooked it up to water to try it out but appears that it should work fine. There is a 12 letter name stamped into the valve with some hard to read lettering that spells as follows, MARCHTENN- I worked at a school about 40 years ago and this came off a cracked drinking fountain. This appears to be a never used brass ball bearing bowl type drinking fountain. Comes with the original box and the only thing that looks different from the picture on the box is there is no down spout connected. Other than that is some minor corrosion around the outer rim of the bowl that looks to be from being stored so long. I haven’t hooked it to a water supply but using air the valve opens closes and seals. Storage box it came in is in very poor condition but the fountain is in great condition.
