UMMM.I'm not sure what this is for. But.it's a NICE ONE! It is a copper& brass tank float, but what it went in is a mystery to me. It has the manufacturer's name& town on it: KEEN MFG in Vineland N.J. The copper part is a little under 2.75" dia. Scratches and wear consistent with age/use. Nice patina! Maybe it could fit in with a Steampunk creation! I do not charge handling fees. I try to charge you what the P.O. is going to charge me for shipping/ins. This was manufactured in the early years of the 20th Century by Kimble Glass Co. in Vineland, NJ. The float is made of glass with a brass female threaded tip to attach it to the float rod on the toilet fill valve. Perfect for remodeling or re-plumbing of an old bathroom. It could even be used on a new toilet if desired. Or just put it on a shelf in an industrial decor setting. Definitely an interesting item. Clear glass is perfect and clean. No chips or cracks. Vintage Copper Toilet Ball Float with metal arm Patina "V"
This is a copper ball toilet float. It still has the arm attached to the ball. The ball is grooved. I do not know the manufacturer. It looks like there is a"V" on the end of the ball. It has a nice patina with some areas turning green. From the tip of the arm to the end of the ball is 15" The ball measures 13" around approx. The arm is 9 1/2" from the end of the ball to the tip of the arm. The arm and the attachment seem to be brass but I do not know for sure.
