Vintage wooden serving tray, foiled surface and possibly painted
Meaaures from outer edge of handles 19 3/4 inches. Then the other way from edge to edge 16 inches. There is some chipping on the edges, and they appear gold leaf. There is also a small crack on the glass which covers one of the handles. It also appears some water may have gone under the glass as some of the foil is lighter in spots, particularly on one side. It males a great vintage display piece and there is a hook on the back for just that purpose. As you can see by the pictures the white and blue really stand out. It might be paint. The wood is aged and the nails appear early 20th century or older. Posted with

Vintage Japanese GINBARI FOILED SILVER PIGEON BLOOD RED CLOISONNE Vase- This vase measures approximately 3-1/2" tall; 3" at its widest part; 1-7/8" base diameter; 1-1/2" outside diameter top; 1-1/8" inside diameter. It is GORGEOUS clear pigeon blood red enamel. The underlying silver foil is textured with bamboo leaves& stalks as well as a flying bird. One side has a very pretty flower- I think the larger flower is a lily. The top and bottom rims appear to be silver- they do not attract to a magnet. The rims could use a cleaning by the successful bidder. There is a very tiny spot(smaller than a pin head) on the top rim(7th photo- at about"10 o'clock" There is a small bump on the bottom rim(last 2 photos) There is a mark on the bottom- a circle with a Japanese symbol or letter inside. ... moreThere is no writing. Antique Georgian pink topaz and 18k gold earrings. Made 18th century- circa 1770- 1800. Measurements: Excluding the loops. A little over 1 1/4 inches long. The loops bring the length to approx 1 3/4 inches. Combined weight 4.7grams. Long. Drop earrings. Beautiful pink topaz, simply faceted. One long, rectangle and a pair of circles. Enclosed in colette settings with pretty crimped edges. Simple hooks make wearing them easy and comfortable. Little loops between the stones permit maximum movement and earrings swing and sway, gently catching attention as the wearer moves. Foil backed like most Georgian jewellery. As to be expected. No hallmarks, but gold tests for at least 18k. General condition is good. But one stone has lost it's back, resulting in a slightly lighter pink tone than the other stones. Ornate Georgian 22ct Foiled Aquamarine? Gold 18.8g Brooch Pin Pre Victorian K
You are invited to bid on this stunning brooch which I believe dates from the Georgian period. Sparkling foiled Aquamarines? adorn the generous 22ct gold scrolls which are lavishly engraved to create a truly beautiful brooch. The brooch measures approximately 4.5cm(1.8 inches) by 4.1cm(1.6 inches) and weighs a generous 18.77 grams. The central stone measures approximately 12mm x 9.8mm. Excluding mount. I believe this brooch tells a story. Still visible today. Owing to the curve of the brooch, which can be seen in the picture below, I believe it was once part of an extremely lavish bracelet and has been altered into the piece we see today. At some point the piece also lost a stone, as the replacement, whilst a fair colour match, is cabochon unlike the other faceted gems. Personally I think this all adds to the character of the brooch but please ... moredecide for yourself. The'c' clasp& pin are secure and in full working order. There are no hallmarks present. As was so common in pieces of this age, but it has been fully tested and is guaranteed genuine 22ct gold. It is not pinchbeck, rolled gold or plated. The foil backed stones give the impression of being aquamarines but I cannot be sure of this so please make up your own mind. Please note all measurements are approximate. Vintage 1920's Art Deco Sterling Silver Foiled Aquamarine Glass Wrap Bracelet
Vintage 1920's Art Deco Sterling Silver Foiled Aquamarine Glass Wrap Bracelet This auction is for a colorful and striking. Art Deco sterling and foiled glass bracelet, that is from the 1920's- 30's. This piece is marked"sterling" and has a maker mark that I have not been able to identify. The bracelet has an inside circumference of 7" and is a bit fuller than 1/4" wide. But it is a wrap bracelet, so it can expand to fit a larger sized wrist as well. This piece is unique for its wrap design and the vibrant aquamarine/teal color of the glass. The glass cabs are faceted all across the top and are foiled at the back so the glass has a lot of light and refraction. There are no chips to the glass, a few tiny tiny nicks here and there, and the glass is very fresh looking with smooth surfaces and crisp faceting that ... moregoes to a subtle point at the center of the glass. The glass is fairly thick and juts out from the setting catching the light. There is quite a bit of wear to the foiling, every glass cab has some wear to the foil at the center of the cab, some more so than others which does dull the sparkle and color a bit. There are no irregularities to the setting, the bracelet is firm and sturdy as it should be, and there are no signs of solder or repair. The silver has a very bright patina which is a pretty contrast to the aquamarine glass. Overall this is a colorful and striking, Art Deco sterling and foiled glass wrap bracelet, that is from the 1920's- 30's that is in good condition. Victorian Peacock Eye Love Knot Watch Pin Antique Foiled Glass
Heavily gilded metal Victorian Love Knot watch pin with an absolutely beautiful bezel set Bohemian Lampwork Foil Glass Peacock Eye cabochon. The pin is 1 in diameter. The center cabochon is 7mm. This is a stunning example of the foiled glass Peacock Eye with rich green and deep cobalt blue center. The foil in the glass makes this cab really catch the light. The pin fastens with a simple open c clasp and fastens tightly over the watch hook. This is an unmarked piece. This pin is in excellent vintage condition overall. There appears to be some loss to the heavy gilt finish on the less decorative rings exposing a softer tone metal. There are a couple of spots on the back of the pin that show some tarnish.
