It is more expensive but worth it for your and my protection as EXPERIENCE has shown this to be the safest way to ship fragile items. The cost between Priority and Parcel Post under 5 pounds is insignificant. If over 10 pounds I generally ship UPS as safest way to go. Additionally I pack and wrap things very well to insure safe arrival. This is for a stunning antique Victorian era pottery vase of outstanding execution and style. This tall vase standing over 14" high is a tour de force of stylish themes of the late 19th century. From the Grecian like handles to the Egypto ribbed neck and mouth of the vessel to the subtle pinkish coloration over the cream colored neck to the vivid green background of the floral lithographic transfer print this vase has it all. Outstanding and significant piece the only mark on this is a large inscribed K that goes through the glaze on the base. It however looks very much like pieces by the Robert Hanke pottery but it is unmarked so it is hard to know for sure unless you find an identical piece marked(and yes that DOES happen. This is sort of a pre art nouveau piece with classical revival elements. It is in outstanding condition with no damage to report or repairs of any kind. Thanks for looking and good luck! This ships USPS First class shipping in a bubble pack. There ARE NO charges for packing and wrapping but are always just the USPS charges. If I miss the weight it comes out of MY pocket not yours. People STILL keep hitting me down in on the shipping in feedback which is a mystery to me as I OFTEN ship Priority which is a bit more expensive but on fragile items much more likely to arrive in one piece. THESE COSTS ARE FOR YOUR PROTECTION! Please understand that. This item may weigh out as much as 15 ounces less than the indicated weight BUT the USPS rounds UP the weight to the greatest pound over that additional ou

Antique Old Lovely Flower Vase Ewer Hand Painted Robert Hanke Porcelain Marked
This lovely and elegant hand painted. Antique Austrian porcelain ewer/vase/pitcher made by the Robert Hanke Porcelain Factory, in Ladowitz, Bohemia, Austria, today, the Czech Republic) The Robert Hanke Porcelain Factory, Ledvice, Czechia was founded in 1882 and closed in 1945. This 14" tall x 5.25" wide(at handles) x 16.50" in diameter is a wonderful example of the elegant fine porcelain produced during the 60 years that this factory was in operation. Based on the stamp, it appears this ewer/vase/pitcher was made between 1880 and 1900, but I was unable to totally validate this. It was purchased from an estate and the 70+ yr. owner said that it had been in her mother's family. This lovely Antique Austria Robert Hanke Porcelain Factory Hand Painted ewer/vase/pitcher incorporates a beautifully ornate. Victorian style mold ... morewith a more modernistic enameled white and magenta floral design set against a matte cream and golden background with gold gilt detailing. The pictures do not do justice to the subtle beauty of this antique Austrian porcelain ewer/vase/pitcher. The base is stamped with the RH Austria marks of the Robert Hanke Porcelain Factory. This beautiful antique Robert Hanke ewer would be a perfect addition to for your antique porcelain or antique Austrian porcelain collection! Please let me know what questions you may have prior to bidding. Thank you.
