Small Antique Folk Art Pottery Creamer - Pitcher Earthenware Hand Painted Tulip
Hi. For sale a small antique redware pitcher or creamer. The pitcher is cream colored with hand painted brown slip glaze Pennsylvania Dutch Tulips. Leaves, dots and lines. There is a chip on the bottom rim painted band(see picture) There is some crazing and some paint is wearing off due to age. I took close up pictures to show the paint fading and crazing. Crazing is mostly on the top of the pitcher or creamer. You need to look close to see the crazing- there is also a few tiny pottery marks or holes from when it was made. Antique Miniature Pottery Pitcher Creamer Primitive Decor Green Drip Glaze This little pottery pitcher was hand formed. It has an applied strap handle, the spout is small and pulled, and the body has a bulbous shape. The outside top was decorated with a deep green drip glaze, which covers part of the handle as well. Measures 3 3/4" high to the top of the strap handle, and is 3" wide across the bulbous body. Unmarked on the base-dates to around 1900. Condition is extremely good with no cracks. Chips or repairs. There is all-over age crazing on the piece. The strap handle is a little off to one side. There are some tiny glaze pops and skips at the top and on the handle. This one has no cracks or chips but has a really rough handle. Done in manufacturing with glaze over top. See pic of handle. 2 piece antique copper luster cream pitcher and bowl. Small pitcher has beaded bands and a ribbed bottom. Raised motif on a deep blue teal band. Same design on 3 sides. It stands 4 1/4" tall x 3 1/4" round at the widest portion. 5 1/4" spout to handle. This piece has crazing and a rough spot on the spout. A few manufacturing flaws of glaze or paint chips on the raised motif in a few spots. The bowl has the same raised floral motif but reversed. Antique SALT GLAZE Pottery PITCHER ~ 6" Syrup or Creamer ~ Cactus Design
This is a sweet little antique salt glazed pitcher.just 6" tall overall. It was most likely for syrup or cream and at one time it must have had a metal(probably pewter) hinged lid as there are the two holes near the top rim towards the handle and one still has a bit of the pewter pin in it. It has a wonderful cactus pattern on its putty color body.even the handle is formed like a cactus leaf. There is an impressed number on the bottom which looks like(I think) a"36" and there is another little impressed sunburst mark.I do not know the maker but maybe these are a clue. Very Pretty. Very old set of a small pitcher and matching bowl with a cherub design, I purchased these to use in a bathroom I was redoing, however they ended up not matching very well. So, I'm offering them to you for auction. It's a very charming cream and open sugar set, There are no chips or cracks in either piece. There is crazing throughout each piece. The little pitcher or creamer measures about 3.75" tall and about 5" wide. The sugar bowl measures about 2.5 inches tall and about 5.25 inches wide. Antique Folk Art Pottery Creamer Dish - Pitcher Yellow Clay Hand Painted Tulip
Hi. For sale a small antique yellow clay pitcher or creamer. The pitcher is cream colored with hand painted brown slip glaze tulips. Leaves, dots and lines. There is a chip on the bottom rim painted band(see picture) There is some crazing and some paint is wearing off due to age. I took close up pictures to show the paint fading and crazing. Crazing is mostly on the top of the pitcher or creamer. You need to look close to see the crazing- there is also a few tiny pottery marks or holes from when it was made. There is a V or check mark on the bottom that has been incised in the pottery(see last picture) Not sure if that is an intial or a check. Please email with any questions I will be glad to help. VINTAGE Lusterware Copper& Navy Blue Floral Cream Pitcher Post-1891 Made in England. This richly colored cream pitcher is a fine example of post 1891 lusterware! The creamer is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. Lusterware is a type of pottery with a metallic glaze that gives the effect of iridescence. Produced by metallic oxides in an overglaze finish, which when given a second firing at a lower temperature in a reduction kiln(which excludes oxygen) results in a high-gloss metallic finish.
