Pottery Pitcher or Ewer Made in USA Raspberry colour No 808
Pottery Pitcher or Ewer Raspberry colour 8 inches high at the front and 6 inches high at the back. Has an applied handle. No chips. Cracks or repairs It is ribbed on the top half and has a diamond pattern on the bottom half. Base is marked U.S.A. and the number 808. It was suggested by a friend that it is California Pottery but it is not marked such- certainly CP made similar pitchers but so did some other US pottery companies. I love the colour. It is very striking. Not the usual brown or green. I would think this is from the 1950s or maybe 1960s. Antique porceline/pottery wine jug pitcher ewer
This is a very beautiful and unique piece! In pristine shape! Found while I was out picking I have had several professional sources say this is likely 1800s if not older. Now the material seems to be pottery but as you can see there are various colors through the whole piece and the bottom almost looks like stone. Bid for what YOU think I have no clue about this other than its very nice and appears to be very old. As always any questions just ask and happy bidding! a;06d2.RcmdId ViewItemDescV4,RlogId p4%60bo7%60jtb9%3Fuk.rp73%28%3Ea%3B06d2-1449f837c57-0x109-

Antique 7" English Pottery Square Lip Ewer/Pitcher w Asian / Deer Motif
Antique 7" English Pottery Square Lip Ewer/Pitcher w Asian/ Deer Motif Up for sale is an antique English pottery square lip ewer/ pitcher with and Asian theme that includes a stag deer leaping off a cliff while being attacked by a wolf. It's 7" tall and 3.75" at its widest diameter. There are some cracks around the lip and come down the side. Please see photos. This is a great decorative piece but shouldn't be used. WE WILL BE ON VACATION 6/28/14 THRU 7/05/14* Ludwig Wessel. Bonn, Germany Pottery Ewer with Hand Painted Daises and a Bumble Bee Attached Metal Handle Marked and Numbered circa: Mark dates it to 1875 to 1900* It measures about 8-1/2" high to the top of the spout and about 10-1/2" high to the top of the handle. Condition is excellent- no chips. Cracks or wear- nice and shiny. They don't make them like this anymore. Now about the handle: It is a non-magnetic metal and has an antique gold-tone finish but it is silver-tone under the gold. The handle is attached at the bottom by a rod that goes through the neck and is secured by a small nut- the top is secured by a small nut also. The handle has no damage but is somewhat off center as you can see in the pictures so a little TLC is required- we did not try to straightened it out. ... moreIt has a mark and the numbers 496 are incised in the bottom and also 3806/ 218 under the glaze. Midwinter Pottery Antique Porcelon water bowl/ewer Late 1920's-early 1930's
Estate sale. This was professionally appraised at $600.00 This is a Midwinter Pottery made in Burslem. Staffordshire. A pottery was started in Burslem in 1910 by William Robinson Midwinter called Bourne's Bank which expanded to the Albion Pottery in 1918 and this is where the wash set was made. It dated to the late 1920s- 1930s, as indicated by the black and white checker design framing the painted panels, a motif much used during this Art Deco era. Water bowl is 15 1/2" diameter and the ewer is 11 1'4" tall. There are no chips or damage to the pottery. Appraiser's comments. The design on this set is quite stunning. It is a revival of a decoration made famous by Minton in the 1870's. Realistic polychrome enamel painting in the Barbotine style. It looks to be entirely hand painted or possibly hand painted over a transfer ... moreprinted outline. Either way it is beautifully done and with a lot of skill.

This is gorgeous! Very old. Very tall, very ornate design pitcher with beautiful fruit design on both sides. Stands 13 1/2 inches tall at tip of lip. This is REALLY nice- very pretty old piece. Any questions or for more pictures please email me. This is big- packaged very carefully this will take a large box and will ship quite heavy. Shipping in the US will be actual costs 7 lbs- Parcel Select or Priority Mail- your choice. International shipping actual costs but due to weight must go Priority International. WEISLEY CHINA OHIO HAND PAINTED PANSY ON WHITE GLAZE ART POTTERY EWER PITCHER A+
Up for auction or"Buy It Now" is a Marked and Signed"Roy" Weissman Company, Incorporated of East Palestine, Ohio and New York City, New York(Circa 1941 to Closed in 1957) Weisley China(WC) Brand, American Art Pottery, Hand Painted-Handcrafted, American Painted Porcelain" Small Porcelain Artware Ewer Pitcher which can best be Attributed as Being Manufactured and Decorated by the Dwight Morris China Company also of East Palestine, Ohio(1939 to 1982) in"Excellent Plus" Used Condition and Made Between Circa 1941 to 1957. This little ewer has no chips. Cracks, glaze crazing, scratches, scuffs or repairs of any kind. It's only post factory issue is that some gold trim has worn away and picture 12 is a close up of the most worn area. This isn't uncommon to see when gold trim is applied either. It can be ... morefired on or underglaze and it ususally is when it's part of the main pattern, but many times it's a final production step and it's applied cold. It has real gold in it and ceramic decorators use 22, 23 or 24 karat gold. It's always been an acceptable practice of cold painting the gold trim as a last step so it shouldn't be considered poor quality work by potteries and decorating firms. Immersed washing and dusting with a heavy hand are two main ways wear happens and most consumers aren't aware that the gold trim areas need some special care. This piece is about 6 1/4 inches tall and about 3 1/8 inches at the most bulbous point near the bottom. The next biggest measurement is the from the outward pour lip across to the handle at about 2 3/4 inches and the top opening is an oval of about 5/8 inches by 3/4 inches across. Being true porcelain means this piece will be strong. But light weighing about 5 ounces. There's a beautiful hand painted floral pattern which I'm fairly sure is representative of the pansy flower. It's only decorated on one side which is often normal to keep production costs down. The bottom has the Weisley brand maker's mar
