Produced by The Robert Hanke Porcelain Factory which was founded in 1882 and closed in 1945. This piece is stamped with the Robert Hanke makers mark and was made in Austria. It measures about 7 3/4" at the peck of the top design, is about 3 1/2" at its widest and 2 1/4" at the base. It includes a very intricate hand-painted floarl design on one side with a simpler design on the back and also includes very nice gold trim around the spout, neck, handle and base. We have studied this piece for some time and can find no flaws or wear including chips, cracks or paint wear. It truly is a stunning piece of art! Antique Victorian Tall Porcelain China Tulip Pitcher Vase Stunning Exc Cond
This was one of a handful of antique/Victorian pitchers/vases that my mother purchased and held dear all of her life. She passed last year. And I am selling some of her antiques to offset my father's medical expenses. This piece was most likely purchased in or near Savannah, GA where she was born or Jacksonville, FL where she lived when first married in the early 50s. There are no cracks. Chips, etc. but, like any similar pitcher of this age, there are areas of the gold trim on handle and base that are faded or missing. Also the top/rim shows age(see last photo) Please note that I have not cleaned nor washed it in any way. A gentle soap bath may well brighten that part of the porcelain. However, it does not diminish the pitcher's beauty. Inside shows a little age and discoloration at the very bottom. This is a very delicate vintage or antique possibly european porcelain vase or pitcher. It has the fleur de lis design through it and each side looks like possibly a young boy and girl or cherub angels. The handle is a very delicate design It is in very nice condition. The color is a very light peach cream. I think this is porcelain or a very delicate pottery with ceramic glaze. It stands 8 inches tall. There are no markings on this vase or pitcher. I have a photo of the bottom and top to show that I could not find any markings as to when or where it was made. The last two photos show two very tiny chips around on one side of the neck plus a little pocking in the glaze. I bought this a long time ago at an estate auction. Lovely Pre-1920 Antique HAND PAINTED Very Fine Quality Embossed Porcelain Pitcher/Vase Design Is What I'd Call'Asian Nouveau' the handle has a bamboo-like pattern. And the design on the pitcher is of long golden grasses, flowers, and a butterfly. There is incredibly beautiful embossing in the porcelain inside the seed heads of the grasses. The grass stems, and the center of the flowers. There is also embossing along the gold top rim. Color is an extremely light and soft celadon/buttery yellow with white handle and white interior. Finish is glossy glaze and the gold painting is matte. Porcelain is fine quality. Semi-transparent when held to light. A stunning piece with a gorgeous shape and elegant design. Antique German Sitzendorf Bisque Porcelain Elephant Handled Pitcher Vase c1884
Offered for your personal collection is this stunning antique German porcelain bisque pitcher vase. Made by the Sitzendorf Porcelain Factory that belonged to Carl& Alfred Voigt between 1884-1896. They produced decorative porcelain and figurines in the Meissen style. It features a highly stylized form with a lobed base and an elephant handle. It is hand painted and enameled. It has raised pearling and a cartouche on each side. One with a romantic serenade and the other with lovely flowers and a large blue bow. Marked on the bottom with the blue makers mark and"G1125" in gold. This piece is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks! It is marked K& G Luneville. There is crazing as can be expected of an older piece like this. Sadly this pitcher sustained a minor blemish can be seen in photos a very small fracture the reason I say sadly is because I accidently did this prior to listing it buy bumping it with a piece of cast iron.
