This beautiful pitcher features a Delft Dutch water scene in Holland with windmills and sailboats. Vintage antique Maddocks porcelain large pitcher with a nice grey blue and white Dutch and sailing vessel design. Reads: MADDOCKS WORKS LAMBERTON ROYAL PORCELAIN. Measures approx. 11 1/2" at its tallest. And 9" in diameter at the base. No chips, cracks, scratches, or crazing and I would consider it in good condition for its age. There would have been a large bowl to hold the water for the washing of the face and hands. There might have been a soap dish. It was made by the Maddocks Lamberton Works out of Trenton. New Jersey. It was called Royal Porcelain. Based on the back stamp on the base. The Pitcher possibly would have been made between 1892 and 1924. Based on the nature of its usage, it was mostly on the earlier side. This pitcher is huge. At least as pitchers go. The approximate circumference of the body is 25 inches. Its tallest point is 11 inches at the spout. It weighs in at over 4 pounds. It is embellished with grey blue and white detailing. My guess is of a charming Dutch village and sailing vessels. Certainly it has slightly faded with time and use. But there are no surface type chips on the base. There is normal wear to the base. I have not cleaned the pitcher and it is dirty inside, but I have left that for

This is a vintage china chamber basin and jug in a lovely flow blue design. Then trimmed in gold. Pink flower decorate both sides of the pitcher. The bowl is especially lovely with its raised design and gentle shading. It is hallmarked"RS Prussia" on the bottom of the pitcher, there is no hallmark on the bowl. ANTIQUE PARIAN WARE/STONEWARE PITCHER 11" TALL WITH HIGH RELIEF DECORATION
Magnificent antique parian ware pitcher cast in high relief with grapes and grape leaves and allegorical figures around the middle in drunken splendor. A bit naughty however. As one of the male figures is pinching the buttocks of his companion and the scene around the entire piece appears to represent debauchery and drunken fun. The grapes and leaves around the top portion are finely represented and detailed. The handle is moulded to represent grape twigs. As far as damage goes there is a chip off the inside of the lip of the jug approximately one inch and is not very noticiable. There is a hairline crack to the inside of the pitcher not seen from the outside. Also one of the faces of the figures is totally missing and I think that was done in the manufacturing process. There is a little brown staining on the top grapes in a couple of places, ... morebut again, very slight. Unmarked on the bottom except for the numbers 6 over 49. I am not familiar with this type of ware so maybe an expert out there can fill in the manufacturer and date. I do know that this piece is old as it was purchased many years ago. Lovely Dresden china pitcher is 11" high by 9 1/2" wide(from spout to handle) Opening is roughly 4" x 4" wide. No chips or cracks! The colors are wonderful featuring a wide magenta colored band at top. And pink and blue trumpet flowers on front with leaves and shadow leaves. Back design mimics front but in simpler motif. The gold banding is totally intact, as are the gold accent details on the handle. For those not familiar with T.P.C. Company here is a brief overview: T.P.C. Co. stands for The Potter's Co-operative Co. of East Liverpool, Ohio. This co-operative opened in 1882 when several local potteries purchased the Dresden Pottery Works. The main items produced were ironstone toilet sets, dinnerware, tea sets, sanitary ware and vitreous hotel china. Porcelain with this Makers Mark was manufactured in Austria from 1891- 1918 Estimated Circa for this particular pitcher is 1899. Markers Mark visible on bottom of pitcher. Stands 11 1/4" Tall. Base is 4 1/2" wide on bottom at widest points; and 7" across from outside handle to tip of spout(widest points) Looks to be a lovely Hand Painted floral design. Using pinks, lavender, peach, darker rose, with various shades of green and yellow for the'grounding' with the foliage; throughout ... morethe pattern. It is accented with Gold Relief. The handle was originally totally covered with the fired-on Gold. Possible usage for an actual"working pitcher" wear is shown. On the handle, and some on the spout. Magnificent W.H. Grindley Syrian 11½” Flow Blue Pitcher
W.H. Grindley was one of England’s 19 th century flow blue masters. Of special note is Grindley’s flow blue Syrian design. A very sought-after pattern by collectors. Syrian is considered one of the ten most desirable patterns of the flow blue floral category. Which is led by another of Grindley’s patterns. Argyle, and includes Alcock’s Touraine and Meakin’s Kelvin. On offer is this very large. Late 1800s W.H. Grindley Syrian water pitcher, which features a beautiful integrated base expanding upwards to wonderful curved and embossed scrolls, a scalloped rim, and a beautifully applied handle. Below that empty space is a single letter‘F’ Off to the side. Also in cobalt blue, is the number‘36’ Stamped in what seems to be a faint dull gold is the legend‘Rd No 306250’ above the word‘PATENTED’ Below which the stamp reads‘SEP.21 st.97.USA. In addition. The handwritten number‘72’ has been incised into the raw base before firing and white glazing. Date: This pitcher appears to have been produced slightly before 1900. Somewhat confirmed by the pattern registration issued in 1897. Condition: I find no flaws– no chips. Cracks, hairlines, stains, scuffs, detectable crazing, or any other condition issues. This example appears to be as perfect as can be. Despite its 115 or so years of life. Viewing the item very critically. One would not believe the pitcher had ever been used. Dimensions and weight: The pitcher measures approximately 10 ½“ from handle to spout. About 8” from side to side, and just shy of 11 ½“ tall. The weight is a shade over 3 lbs 10 oz. Antique Pitcher with a most unusual mold. Has a shell and branch handle and a birds head spout. Along with other beautiful and rare unique mold affects. Beautifully hand painted with floral motif with stunning gold gilt accents. This is such an interesting and unique piece. I believe this to be quite rare. Unfortunately I was unable to find what the ED means on the bottom. The only flaw is a small chip on the bottom of the pitcher around the outer ring. Absolutely beautiful ironstone pitcher in the fig pattern. English registry mark on bottom. I cannot read the makers mark that is next to it. Very good condition. I have tried to show any faults in the pictures. There is a tiny faint 1" hairline near the handle on the inside. It's hard to tell if it goes through. See picture. I never even noticed it was there until I was photographing it. Also there are 2 little dots that are shown in the next to last picture. This is a rare and beautiful piece of ironstone with the incidental flaws taken into consideration when pricing. Please ask any questions before bidding…Thanks!

Lovely antique porcelain milk pitcher. Circa 1804. Soft pale pink with a nice gloss; floral transfer in a teal green. Remarkable condition for the most part with no repairs, cracks or hairlines, very little crazing. Only the rim& spout show wear& a[spout] chip, from loving use I am sure. Inside has some staining. The pitcher is squatty in nature, 5-1/2" high& about 6" wide at belly. Top opening is 4" in diameter, bottom is 3-1/4" 7-1/4" from spout to outside handle. The bottom is stamped Dec. 804 in the teal color. Also has incised R& incised 11 with a sort of triangle shape in front of that I can't discern. The number 5 is deeply incised at base of handle. Here fresh from a local estate is a lovely Victorian Ironstone Pitcher. This is a large one that measures 11 1/2" high; from top of handle to outer edge of spout is about 7 1/4" This beauty is marked W.B.Jr. Co Trade Mark with an eagle. Excellent condition with no chips. Cracks or repairs. There is overall crazing. There are a couple rust colored stains on the inside very bottom, mentioned for accuracy. The white is bright and beautiful. I believe the mark is for William Blunt England but not sure. The form on this is outstanding and just in time for spring flowers. Or just wonderful on display in your collection. Antique Doulton Burslem Large Pitcher in "Pomegranate" Pattern, 1886 - 11" Tall
Extraordinary pitcher by Doulton. Burslem, in pattern"Pomegranate" rarely do you find this pattern in multi-colors. This pitcher has gorgeous coloring, superb transferware printing, and a wonderful full shape, with its wide mouth spout. Unfortunately, it does have a repair on one corner of the spout, as you can see in pictures#10(outside) and#11(inside) Also, as is common with antique ceramics, there is crazing throughout, though in my opinion, it doesn't detract from the beauty of the piece. The pitcher measures 11" tall and has a bowl diameter of 8" I did my best to capture the style and quality in pictures. Offered for auction is this lovely large brown transferware water pitcher. It is 11" tall. Very unusual with a square neck. It has a bamboo style handle. Design has floral with some oriental pots. Excellent condition- no chips. Cracks or damage. Nice clean inside, no staining. The bottom mark is G W Turner Sons, Tunstall, Benedick.

Flowers, butterflies in the design This is a 11 1/2" tall by 7 1/2" from handle to spout water pitcher. Early 1800's ~ In Wonderful condition. Considering the age. very light, if any minimal crazing, NO CHIPS, 2 small spider hairlines IN GLAZE, DOES NOT GO THRU AND YOU CAN NOT FEEL IT! Other wise a beauty. Villeroy & Boch/Mettlach Mid-1800's 11" Figural Pitcher w/Child or Cherub
A really nice and very old 11" tall pitcher made by the Mettlach factory of Villeroy& Boch. It has a figure of a child or cherub climbing the front of the pitcher. The body is gray. The child and the applied floral decroration are a tan color. Everything is highlighted with silver decoration. It has the embossed mark used by V&B from the 1840's up to 1860. The condition is excellent with only very light wear to the silver in a few spots. The only real issue is an age crack at the front of the child's neck(see the last photo) that does not go through. This appears to be a result of age and not damage. You may return this within 14 days of receipt if you are not satisfied for any reason. Returns within 3 days of receipt receive a full refund.
