Antique 4 Piece Set Buffalo Pottery Chamber Wash Bowl Set "Cairo" 1905-1916
Buffalo Pottery Set I am proud to present a beautiful antique Chamber set consisting of a wash bowl. Large pitcher, small pitcher, and what I beleive may be a soap bowl. The pattern is"Cairo" with lovely Old World roses and was manufactured from 1905 to 1916. On the underneath side of each piece states that the item is Buffalo Pottery and has the Buffalo symbol. See picture of stamp. The set has no chips. Cracks, breaks or repairs. There is typical crazing present in all 4 pieces, with the wash bowl having the most crazing. The other three pieces display without seeing crazing except upon close examination. There is some gold trim loss to the wash bowl and large pitcher. The smaller pitcher has most of its gold trim. The soap dish has two bubble pops in the center of bowl. Please use my pictures to augment my desription. Rarely ... morewill you find this 100 years old chamber set in this great condition. The pieces are Uniquely Decorated with Sky Blue Lines and Gold Stenciling against a Semi Vitreous White Background. With its many pieces and Great Blue and Gold colors. The Set Displays Wonderfully and would instantly become the Decorative Focal Point of any room. Finding sets with this many matching pieces is becoming increasingly hard. The set is in good overall condition. Especially for its age: The Large Pitcher measures 12 inches tall. Is in very good condition, without any chips or cracks. There is minor, age appropriate gold loss and some straight line crazing. The Small Pitcher measures 8 inches tall and is in very good condition. Without any damage. This auction is for a Lovely 3-Piece Victorian Porcelain Chamber Set which consists of two differently sized matching pitchers and a covered soap dish. The set Displays Wonderfully together. I am not certain of the maker. Origin or the exact age. The small pitcher has a smudged backstamp that appears to resemble a fleur de lis. There are no other markings. I believe they date to the late 1800s to early 1900s and likely are French porcelain. They are beautiful pieces. Whatever their birthright. They are molded or embossed with Victorian Scroll detailing in very white porcelain and sharp gold accent lines. The large pitcher measures 11 3/4 inches tall; the matching smaller pitcher measures 7 1/4 inches tall; and the soap dish is 5 1/2 inches across. Striking 5-Piece Sky Blue Victorian Porcelain Wash Bowl & Pitcher Set France
This auction is for a Fabulous Victorian 5-Piece Wash Bowl and Pitcher Set. The set Displays Wonderfully. It will add a burst of color and will instantly become the focal point of any room. Each piece is marked"France" on the bottom. I am not certain of the maker but by the form and feel and style the set is clearly Victorian and likely dates to the late 1800s. The set is decorated with a beautiful sky blue color against a white porcelain and gold edging. The pieces are molded with a relief leaf and scroll designs. The set consists of a large pitcher(11 inches tall) A large bowl(16 inches across) a smaller pitcher(7 inches tall) a soap dish and a cup. The set is in very good condition. Especially for its age. Vintage 4 piece Washbowl Set
I don't know much about this set. Other than it is quite old. It came to me from my husband's side of the family. His mom had it in her attic for decades. The set was made by the Sterling Porcelain Co. Unfortunately the set is missing the all-important pitcher and there are large cracks in the bottom of the basin and some slight ones on the rim of the basin. But the designs in the basin are quite nice. The set is green and white with some gold designs. Each piece has a beautiful glaze There appear to be areas that look as if the finish has worn away over the years. But those areas are smooth to the touch. Two of the three smaller pieces are intact with no visible chips or cracks that I could find. There is a chip on the underside of the taller piece which can not be seen unless you turn the piece over. See the last picture. The three ... moresmaller pieces would possibly make make nice vases! There is a chip on the underside of the lid to the Toothbrush holder. Antique K.T.K. Wash stand bowl set containing 7 pieces. The pitcher is approx. 11" tall and 10" across. The wash bowl is a large 16.5" across. The set is a floral design with pink and green colors. The pieces all have gold trim and have no cracks or chips in the pieces. Very rare to find a set of this age in this kind of condition. Up for auction is a four piece pitcher and bowl set. The mark on all four pieces is K. T. K. Co. Semi-vitreous Porcelain-Knowles Taylor Knowles. This is shown in the pictures. The small piece with the handle has a small chip on the bottom and some paint chips. The pitcher has a hair size line on the inside but it does not extend to the outside of the pitcher. The bowl in 16 inches in diameter and 5 inches high. The pitcher is 11 inches high and 9 inches round. The other pieces are 4 1/2 by 4 1/2 and 5 by 4. Condition as shown in the pictures.

Vintage English Victorian 6 Piece Wash Stand Set
Up for auction is a beautiful wash stand set. Unmarked. But I was told it was from England. The bath set includes a pair of candlesticks, tray, drinking glass, and a pitcher and bowl. There is a hairline crack, on the backside of the bow, which the pitcher hides, it still holds water, without leaking. The other 5 pieces are in perfect condition. The set is a nice large size, the bowl is about 15" in diameter and the pitcher is 10+" tall. This set would look beautiful on a marble topped wash stand. The lid to the chamber pot has a large crack across it which appears to have been repaired at some point, several other hairline cracks on other pieces, crazing on all pieces, one small hole in one of the small pitchers, and a small chip off base of one of the other small pieces, but these are from the 1880-1890 era, so some condition issues would be expected. See marks in pics, only a few of the pieces have the mark on the bottom. Up for auction is this beautiful 3 piece Victorian Pitcher with Bowl and matching Vase. It is white in color and very ornate with rose print that stands on the pitcher. bowl and vase. The inside of bowl has rose patten also but the roses are larger as seen in photos. The Rose Ornate print is the same on the out side of the pitcher. the out side of the bowl all the way around and all around the Vase. The Patten Is just lovely and really stands out. I had this piece for about 15 years The Pitcher is large and measures 10 in high and 11 in wide from handle to spout. The bowl is 4 in high and 12 in wide. The Vase is 6 in high and about 6 in wide with mouth opening about 4 1/2 in. There is One very small chip on the bowl as seen in last photo. Its hard to see due to the ornate design. A wash basin and pitcher(17" wide x 4 1/2" high; 13" high x 10" wide. Respectively) No chips or cracks. A chamber pot with lid(8 1/2" high x 10 1/2" wide) Crack in handle made at manufacture. Large chunk of lid rim missing. 3" x 1" A vanity pitcher(8 1/2" high x 6 1/2" wide) Several long cracks running through the body. An oval section has been broken out and repaired. Can hear the item is cracked when setting it down. A soap dish with lid(3 3/4" high x 5" wide) A 2" x 1" piece has broken from the dish and been repaired. A shaving mug(4" high x 5" wide) A 2" crack from lip downward leaving ... morea small piece missing on rim. A tooth brush holder(5 3/4" high x 4" wide) A 3/4" x 1/4" surface rim chip. Very shapely mold with high curved handles. Scalloped rims and fluted body shapes. Molded scrolls and fretwork in the bodies. Handpainted front, back and inside the rims of the pitchers with blue poppies and pink daisies. Gold scroll work and sprayed daubs on the borders and handles. This would have been a high end set. There is some crazing in addition to the condition issues listed above. Most pieces marked with a crown and shield and Mercer Semi Vitreous in brown. The mark used by the Mercer Pottery out of New Jersey between 1902 and 1930s.

The dramatically shaded background blends gray, purple, green, brown, and a sienna rust color to make the grapes and foliage truly"pop" The pitcher is 4 inches across at the rim and stands 9.5" inches tall. The gilded gold rim and trim accent the handle and spout. The grapes are so realistically painted that you can see each grape as it clusters together. The same attention to detail is lavished on each of the leaves. The colors range from the deepest green, through khaki, brown, and even purple. The veining of each leaf and the tendrils at the end of each stem add further depth to the exquisite artwork of Mrs. Levey. The Cups stand 4 inches tall and measure 3 inches across. Striking Nouveau 5-Piece Iridescent Pitcher Washbowl Set Fieldings Devon Ware
This auction is for a Striking 5-Piece Antique Pitcher and Washbowl Chamber Set Beautifully designed in an Art Nouveau Pattern with a Unique Peach or Blush. Green and Yellow Luster Iridescent Glaze and made by Fieldings Devon Ware of Stoke on Trent England circa 1908. The set is in Very Good condition. Especially for its age, which dates to the early 1900s. The set Displays Wonderfully and will instantly become the Decorative Focal Point of any room. The set consists of: A Pitcher. 13 3/4 inches tall. No chips or cracks or damage; there is fine, even crazing and a very small area of gold accents loss to the lip. A Wash Bowl. About 16 inches across. No chips of cracks. There is crazing, some foxing spots primarily on one side and about half of the bowl is toned or discolored(see two last photos) A Chamber Pot. 10 1/2 inches across with the ... morehandle. No chips or cracks or damage; there is fine even crazing and some loss of gold accents. A Soap Dish with lid and drainage insert. No chips or cracks or damage; there is fine. Even crazing. A Toothbrush Holder. 6 inches tall. There are no chips; there is a 2 inch hairline from the lip(photo 10) and crazing. The glaze and nouveau styling of this set really sets it apart from others. The glaze changes the colors and appearance- like gasoline in a puddle- depending on the viewing angle. The washbowl. Pitcher, chamber pot have the Devon Ware Fieldings Stoke on Trent England Pearline backstamp in orange with the product line Pearline also marked. Gorgeous Rare Antique Pitcher and Bowl Boudoir Wash 6 Piece Set
You are Viewing a Rare Antique~Victorian Era~6 Piece Pitcher and Bowl Boudoir Wash Set. Absolutely gorgeous antique white with lovely delicate Daisy and Ivy Transferware. Large pitcher measures 12.5" tall to top of handle and 29" circumference around bulbous body. Bowl has a 16" diameter and stands 4 1/2" tall. Set also includes a smaller 8" 18.5" circumference pitcher. A 3.75" high 3.50 diameter mug, and a 3 piece lathering set measuring 3.50 high with a 5" diameter. All pieces are marked"Majestic" The small pitcher has 2278 in gold on bottom. Exquisite set! Condition is excellent with all-over crazing which in my opinion adds to the charm of the set. A few manufacturing transfer-ware misses on bottom of bowl only. Very slight gold transfer-ware loss mostly on lathering set along with 2 chips ... morealong the rim. Set has no other chips and no cracks. The lathering set looks to me like the most used piece of the set- the other pieces look as if they were hardly used.

All expertly hand painted with luscious apples and leaves. The squat pitcher is about 5-3/4" tall and about 8-1/4" measured from the handle to the spout. The mugs are 3-1/2" tall and about 2-3/4" in diameter at the rim, wider in the middle of the barrel shape. The decoration on this set is extremely well done and delightful to the eye. The pitcher is made by Balleroy Freres, France and the mugs are marked by T&V Limoges I believe. The unpainted blanks are from France. The decoration was added later and I do not have an artist signature on the work. There is no damage to the set.
