1800s Antique Pitcher Parian Porcelain lavender w/ornate white cameo relief
This stunningly beautiful. Antique Parian ware(bisque porcelain) pitcher has a lavender base color, with ornate, raised, white cameo-like designs on its outside surface. The design motifs are classical, and the style resembles Wedgwood's“jasperware” or early Copeland pieces, though the pitcher up for auction, here, has a gloss glaze, as opposed to a matte finish. The pitcher is unmarked, and though I have done some research, I have not been able to determine its maker. The pitcher's condition is remarkable. With no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. The only flaws, which are minor, occurred at the factory when the then liquified Parian porcelain was cast in the mold, and when the white, raised designs were applied, as one can see some tiny hairline breaks that have been glazed over. The pitcher measures about 8 ¼ inches tall ... morefrom its base to its highest point, which is on the handle, about 5 ½ inches across the opening from the handle to the end of the spout, and it has just under a 4 inch diameter across the footed base. This pitcher is exquisite, in color, design and condition. Please pay within 3 days after the auction has ended. And I will get your item to you as soon as possible. I do not accept returns, so to spare us any complications, please contact me if you have any questions, as I may have missed something that is important to you. Antique James Dudson Porcelain Parian Lily Jug Engand 19c. Victorian
This fine 19th Century Parian Ware Pitcher was produced by James Dudson and is decorated with a Lily. It is a very scarce pitcher. The piece has two manufacturers flaws including a popped air bubble on one of the flowers and a stress crack to the handle. The crack does not run all the way through the handle. None-the-less I wouldnt pick it up by the handle. It is a beautifully decorated Jug. It measures 7.25" x 6.25"

19th Century Porcelain Basket Weave Parian Ware Pitcher
This beautiful Basket Weave Parian Ware Pitcher measures about 7.75" tall. I believe they are English however they could be American as well. With no marks it makes it quite difficult to figure out. I believe it was made before the registration British Registration period was required on pottery during the first half of the 19th century. The middle of the front has a a small brown mark that is repeated in the interior which was a spot of iron in the clay that was fired in the original m aking of the pitcher.

Fabulous French L.S. Mark Paris Limoges Parian Enamel Painted Porcelain Pitcher
This fabulous Antique Enamel Painted Parian Ware Pitcher measures about 6-3/8" tall. It does have some enamel loss around the rim as pictured. The pitcher is quite unusual to the extent that I have to attribute it to being French because I am really unsure. The Pitcher is enamel painted over a parian type body. The interior is clear glazed. The handle is a figural lion motif. it is an amazing piece. 1?RcmdId ViewItemDescV4,RlogId p4%60bo7%60jtb9%3Feog4d72f%2B%3E%3B1%3F-146db2e32bc-0x113-

White Parian Porcelain Jonquil Pitcher American Mid 19th Century (reproduction)
Offered today is the pretty parian porcelain pitcher with an applique decoration of lazy jonquils or daffodils and arching leaves in high relief. Parian ware. An unglazed porcelain resembling Parian marble was widely used for statuettes, pitchers, vases, trinket boxes, and tableware. The process for producing parian ware was developed by the Copeland factory in England in the 1840s, and later it was introduced to the Bennington factory in Vermont. This pitcher is a reproduction of an original mid 19th century pitcher donated to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York by Dr. Charles W. Green in 1947. This is such a pretty. Graceful Parian pitcher. I am not a good photographer, and my pictures do not do it justice. It looks even better in person, and it has a substantial weight to it for its size. It could be used to hold flowers, paint ... morebrushes, kitchen utensils, or whatever you may have need of it. Of course, it will also work fine as either a pitcher or a very elegant watering can even. Display in in virtually any room of the house. This pitcher is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. It stands approximately 8.75 inches tall and 6.5 inches across. The inside is very clean as I have never put any liquids in it. It was displayed for a while on a farmhouse cupboard with silk flowers. So charming and versatile. It would blend in beautifully with either a Victorian. Cottage, Shabby, or farmhouse decor scheme.
