This auction is for a Lovely 6-Piece Antique Victorian Semi-Porcelain Pitcher and Washbowl Chamber set made by Dresden Pottery Works of Ohio in the late 1800s or early 1900s. The set is Beautifully designed with a molded or raised floral design and is painted in a soft sky blue with gold accents against a white semi-porcelain background. The set Displays Wonderfully with its pastel colors and will instantly become the decorative focal point of any room. The set consists of: A Wash Bowl or Basin. 15 1/2 inches across. Lovely Dog Pitcher Creamer Germany Vintage Excellent Unusual! Up for auction is a really beautiful and unusual dog creamer or pitcher that was made in Germany. This piece is in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks or crazing and the gold trim is nearly excellent with only one area where it is just slightly faded(on the top part of the handle) It measures about 3" from base to top of head of dog and nearly 3 3/4" from tip of nose to edge of handle and has a diameter of about 1 5/8" The dog looks to be a setter or retriever of some type and the mouth serves as a spout. There is a pretty pink and white flower with green leaves painted on the front which almost looks like a cosmos to me. The base is marked with a faint orange"Made in Germany" in a circle but I checked this carefully and it does say Germany. I'm ... morefairly sure this is not Royal Bayreuth, but it reminds me of some of its pieces. It is possible that this is an antique, but I can't say for sure. But I have also seen it be called Flying Bird and Long Tailed Bird and Pekoe. It depicts an Asian scene with a long tailed bird flying above over sized flowers and branches and is boldly and brightly colored in orange. Pink, green and blue and trimmed in an ochre or mustard edging. The colors are hand applied under the glaze. The piece is in Very Good condition. Especially for its age. Lovely Antique 1840s-1860s English Mulberry Water Pitcher“Lake” Pastoral Scene Presented is a beautifully proportioned and decorated English porcelain water pitcher. Made by Lake, in“mulberry” on white. The pitcher is a lovely shape with a very attractive pastoral scene on it. And deep swirling foliage designs around the top, inside and out, and around the base. It was made in England in the Staffordshire potteries. In the 1840s to 1860s. This kind of coloration is known as“mulberry” The pitcher has been professionally restored at some time during the years. Almost certainly part of a chamber set. This charming unmarked pitcher is in superb condition. We are estimating a date of production between 1850 and 1900. The piece measures 7-1/2" tall at the lip and 4-1/2" across the mouth. The pink and white body is accented with gold around the mouth and on the molded decoration. This lovely and elegant hand painted. Antique Austrian porcelain ewer/vase/pitcher made by the Robert Hanke Porcelain Factory, in Ladowitz, Bohemia, Austria, today, the Czech Republic) The Robert Hanke Porcelain Factory, Ledvice, Czechia was founded in 1882 and closed in 1945. This 14" tall x 5.25" wide(at handles) x 16.50" in diameter is a wonderful example of the elegant fine porcelain produced during the 60 years that this factory was in operation. Based on the stamp, it appears this ewer/vase/pitcher was made between 1880 and 1900, but I was unable to totally validate this. It was purchased from an estate and the 70+ yr. owner said that it had been in her mother's family. This auction is for a Lovely Antique Pitcher and Washbowl in a Blue and White Floral Transfer Design. The pieces are made by two different manufacturers and are mismatched. But Displays Nicely together with similar colors and patterns. The pitcher. Which measures 11 inches tall, is made by Maddocks Lamberton Works of England. There are no chips or cracks or damage to the pitcher. The Bowl measures 17 inches across and is made by Buffalo Pottery in the Chrysanthemum pattern. There are no chips or cracks. Some pieces are marked with just the registration number while others have the registration marks as well as the BWM&Co. backstamp and impressed marks. The marks date the set to circa 1887. This auction is for a Lovely Antique Polychrome Ironstone Creamer or Small Pitcher Beautifully Decorated in Hand Painted colors of Blue. Green, Brown, Red and Yellow in a Floral and Branch/Vine Motif. It is marked with the hand written number on the bottom. 7751, a dot pattern and an impressed mark 30. I am not certain of the maker. But by the form and feel. I believe it was made by one of the potteries of the Staffordshire region in the mid 1800s, perhaps Ashworth. It is in Good condition. Especially for that age. This auction is for a Lovely Antique Salt Glaze Art Pottery Stoneware Pitcher or Jug Beautifully Decorated with raised molded design of a Standing Doe and a lying fawn amid grasses and tall trees. The piece is not marked but dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s. The piece Displays Wonderfully with great blue throughout. It is in Good condition. Especially for its age, without any chips or cracks from damage. There are several manufacturing imperfections from the firing process. Which was customary for pieces of stoneware of this vintage and only adds to the character and authenticity.
