Found in an old east central Illinois estate. This fine 19th century pitcher measures 9 ½” tall by 8 ½” from spout to handle& has a body diameter of about 6 ¼” This has base wear, wear to the high spots of the handle, a tiny chip or two along the rim’s/spout’s edge, there is one spot of crazing inside the pitcher below the handle. There’s appears to be some“flaking” or“scaling off” of some old“shellac” or some other repair material. We put it under a black light& there appear to be old repairs to the lower portions of the pitcher, but well done in my opinion. The design of blue 6 petaled blossoms, dark pink& green leaves, dark pink“buds” is enhanced by its black“border” at the base, rim[inside& out] on the handle of the pitcher. Striking Antique Pitcher & Wash Bowl Chamber Set Imari Colors Floral Leaf Design
This auction is for a Lovely Antique Pitcher and Wash Bowl Chamber Set made of Semi Porcelain. It is Beautifully Decorated in a Floral. Leaf and Fern Pattern in a Brilliant Imari Palette of colors- Cobalt Blue and Iron Red- all highlighted and outlined in gold accents against a Semi-Porcelain background with molded flourishes. The bowl and the pitcher are each marked with handwritten number in gold- 934. The bowl as an impressed mark as well. I believe it reads 12 over 19. I am not certain of the maker or the exact age of the set. But from the form and the feel and the decorations. I am pretty certain they date to the mid to late 1800s and likely were made in the Staffordshire region of England. The Pitcher stands about 11 inches tall. It has a small glaze bubble pop(see photo 9) in the bottom foot. The colors and the images are crisp and ... morebright. There is fine. Even crazing throughout which only adds to the character and authenticity. The bowl measures 15 3/4 inches across. There is fine. Even crazing and two glaze pops on the edges(see photo 10) There is also what appears to be an old repair in the edge. When I purchased the piece, there was a large area of yellowish film. I cleaned much of that away to show what appears to be a very tight and faint line that stretches about 4 inches long at the lip of the bowl(see last two photos) Even so. The Set Displays Wonderfully and is a Great Find. The set was a recent estate sale purchase from an avid Chamber Set collector in Central Pennsylvania and is fresh to market. old old old pretty pitcher sauce or cream. there is wear on the enamels as you can see in photos but not deep chipping. there is a very shallow sliver flake just under the shoulder rim of pitcher you can see in darkened photo with pitcher handle on left side. it is very shallow not into the rim design but just below could be touched up I believe with some of the new copper nail polish that is available. this item comes from the same estate as the old historical blue items we just sold.

The Handcrafted Vintage Oil Pitcher Is in excellent condition with absolutely no damage.Chips,cracks, The only ware present appears to be around the bottom of the Oil Pitcher. There appears to be a water line of some sort from where oil sign sat in the pitcher and over time bled through creating the water level line. Anyway, You literally cannot see the water line if the pitcher is sitting up right. I know it looks bad but you can only see the water level stain if the pitcher is turned upside down. Up for bid is this Antique Doulton Ewer with a Floral/Leaf Design. Doulton& Co at Burslem became Royal Doulton Company in 1902. The marking on the bottom date it from Ca. 1886-1891. It is 8 7/8" Tall and 3 3/8" wide. It is in Very Good to Excellent condition and the gold is in excellent condition for being at least 124 years old(see photos) The pictures I took don't do it justice.
