Hi up for sale is this lot of 3 antique ironstone soap dishes. The one on the left is 4" x 3 3/8" Has a big chip on the bottom. Has some other very small chips and flea bites. bottom is marked Thomas Furnival& Son with a big logo of a lion and unicorn. The dish in the middle is 4 1/2" x 3 3/4" has some gold accent. Has some chipping and crazing, marked TNT with a griffin on the bottom. THe one on the right is 4 1/2" x 3 1/2" has gold trim and flowers. Homer Laughlin Ironstone Pitcher. Mint. 6" tall x 4.25"diameter at top. Pure white. Made between 1925-1940's. Maker's mark& name on bottom. Homer Laughlin was the maker of American ceramics& porcelain. Beginning in the late 19th century. Laughlin made very popular dinnerware. New management ran the company until it closed in 1973. Homer Laughlin Harry M Stevens Pitcher
This pitcher is white with blue trim and the Harry Stevens lion logo. Harry Stevens is known for introducing the hot dog to the concession stands of baseball. Polo and other sports in the early 1900's. He is also known for designing and selling the first baseball scorecard- a design still in use to this day. He coined the phrase“You can't tell the players without a scorecard. The pitcher was purchased at an estate sale; unsure of the age. It has some minor spots on the inside which look like ink. Perhaps used as a pen holder. This can be seen in the pictures. Also has 2 spots on the lip close to the handle that look like glue or similar compound dripped-also seen in the pictures. Homer Laughlin China Empress Shape Pitcher(please scroll down for more photos) Home Laughlin's Empress shape tableware patterns were introduced in 1914 and were a popular shape until they were retired in the late 1920's. This exquisite Empress shape pitcher is white with bright blue accent lines on the rim and handle. The center line is broken on one side with a scene of what could be the Zuiderzee in times gone by. Sailing ships ply a tranquil sea with windmills on the horizon. This pitcher is about 5-1/2" high. And about 7" from handle to spout. The underside is marked with the Homer Laughlin backstamp, the shape name"Empress" and a number I can't make out. It weighs about 1-1/4 pounds, before boxing for shipment. This is a gorgeous antique porcelain chamber pitcher made by HOMER LAUGHLIN. No bowl with this one but it could be paired very lovely with a white basin bowl. This is a large wash pitcher(11" in height) and it is detailed with pink roses and gold gilting. The porcelain has lots of shine left on the finish. There is minor wear on gold gilt border edging and one tiny manufacturers"dimple" on rim. Very old vintage ball pitcher in rich cranberry color. Glossy glaze. I believe this piece to be Homer Laughlin. Numbered on bottom(not clear) This is a very heavy piece which shows its age. It stands 9 inches tall and measures 8 inches across the body. There is a glaze imperfection on one side but it is under the glaze and was created that way. Otherwise. The piece is perfect.

It is all white no trim. PItcher is 6" high and approx. 5" in diameter of bottom. Number on bottom of pitcher is 13(or 18) L. Bowl is 4" High. 9" in diameter. Not sure what style this would belong to. But it seems like a simple, elegant and classic piece to me. This belonged to my grandmother and she had it since the 40's. There is a slight possibility that she acquired this in the 50's, but that would be the latest she would have acquired this. It was likely acquired in Santa Barbara, California. This set was produced by Homer Laughlin. The Homer Laughlin HLC Backstamp is on the bottom of each piece. Vintage 1912 set of wash bowl. Cold water pitcher, hot water pitcher, chamber pot, talcum powder or soap holder, shaving mug with handle, toothbrush or shaving brush holder In good condition overall for its age. The gold trim and some gold accents are faded from normal use. Pieces show signs of wear All pieces show crazing under the glaze. Pretty normal for pieces this old. The large cold water pitcher and washbowl show the most; the hot water pitcher almost none. Washbowl measures 16" in diameter and 4 1/2" tall. For your Consideration I have here a Beautiful Vintage Large Homer Laughlin Porcelain Wash Bowl and Pitcher Set. The Pitcher stands 12" Tall approximately 9" in diameter at its widest. The bawl measures 16: Across and 4" Deep. I believe these 2 Pieces go together they look like they match and go together beautifully although please check the markings on the bottom of the bowl and pitcher as this is the best way to identify them. The markings are different so that's what makes not sure if they were intended to go together I am no expert on this field please see photos. The only thing I can see wrong with these pieces is a little crazing on the inside of the pitcher which is nothing out of the Norm otherwise both are in beautiful condition. HOMER LAUGHLIN Vintage Milk Pitcher White American Shabby D52N8 USA 50's?
Made in USA. Not sure what style this would belong to. But it seems like a simple, elegant and classic piece to me. This belonged to my grandmother and she had it since the 40's. There is a slight possibility that she acquired this in the 50's, but that would be the latest she would have acquired this. It was likely acquired in Santa Barbara, California. Would look great with a shabby, Victorian, Colonial, traditional decor. Off white, cream colored. Let me know if you have any questions.

ANTIQUE/VINTAGE 1900s Homer Laughlin white ironstone pitcher 6 1/4 x 7 x 4 3/4" vintage early 1900s heavy(1 lb. 12 oz) ironstone pitcher features lovely leaf detail, likely acanthus, on handle and gorgeous milky white finish very good condition for its age with bright. Glossy white porcelain; various tiny irregularities characteristic of ironstone; slight bit of wear to tip of spout; a few scuffs here and there; slight discoloration on inside bottom(may scrub off) some wear along bottom edge very fine.
