The vase features lovely chased designs of palm trees. Lions, oxen, and birds, very nicely done. The rim of the vase is done in the form of flower petals, and the base is decorated with lotus leaf designs. The base is weighted for stability and has a felted bottom. This piece is tested and guaranteed at least 800 purity silver. The vase is in great condition. The details of the designs on the exterior are quite crisp. And the interior is clean. Early Nouveau Robert Hanke vase pitcher ewer flowers gold gilt early 1900s 9"
I have for you this evening a beautiful porcelain pitcher or ewer by the Austrian porcelain manufacturer and design studios of Robert Hanke in Bohemia. This lovely pitcher is in the Nouveau style and made of nice quality porcelain with a blush glaze that was all the rage in Europe at the time. The vase has been hand painted with stylized flowers with orange accent color and trimmed in raised gold slip work. The piece is dusted with gold on the face and the reverse and the base and rim are gilded as well as having a heavily gilded handle. The mold shape is pleasing to the eye and the handle is very tactile along with some scroll work at the neck. When all the elements are combined this becomes a very desirable piece by this maker and would make a great addition to your collection. Item dimensions and dating: All measurements are approximate. ... moreThis piece stands around 9" tall and spans 5" at its widest point. This piece is stamped with the mark dating it from 1900 to 1918. Item condition report: This piece is in excellent antique condition with no chips. Cracks or crazing that I can find. The flowers are fresh and vibrant and the gold gilt is almost fully intact with only minor wear to the high points on handle and rim. I do not charge any handling fees and I will combine shipping whenever possible. I allow returns but only under the conditions stated herein so please read before bidding. Antique water pitcher& vase. Cream w/brown flowers, ELP Co, Waco, China This auction is for an Antique Pitcher& Vase. Cream with Brown flowers, ELP, Co. Waco, China This vase& pitcher are very old. Probably from the 1930's- 1940's. The pitcher does have a chip off the top lip. And a fine crack on the outside, but it does not go all the way through. The pitcher measurements are: 8" tall(at its peak) opening is 4"x5" and the circumference is 18" The vase is very pretty also, and it doesn't have any chips. But, it does have a brown stain. The vase measurements are: 5" tall, 3 1/4" opening, and 13" circumference. Both have E.L.P. Co. Waco China on the bottom. Very nice for your collection! Sold as is. Please see pictures. Offered for your personal collection is this beautiful vintage French faience hand painted pitcher vase. Made by the HB Henriot factory in Quimper. France, it is well marked on the bottom as seen in photo. It features a blue spongeware handle. Top rim and foot lined by yellow and red, yellow and blue"a la touche" flowers and green leaves. It measures 8 inches tall and 6 inches wide from handle to spout. It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks! It has a 3 millimeter fireline on the spout that is not noticeable and normal for antique and vintage faience and majolica.
